with nvidia, GPU OC does not lend too much to the 06 score, nothing compared to what the CPU OC contributes

A stock QX9300 and stock GTX 280m SLI get about 13.5k-14k though in 06

 

That stands to be the case for the Nvidia's, though I was referring rather to drake's setup specifically, with the ATI's and T9900 both OC'd to their limits

What do u get with OC'd processor (3.2) and stock gpu's cook?

 

OC'ed qx9300 and stock GPU was 17.8K

 

thats very high for stock gpu's Drake, so far theres only been around 600 points gained by overclocking gpu's for 06? (referencing your 18.428 mark run)

 

My bad, misread what you said. Ya, the ATI's do much better in 06 under pretty much any circumstance haha

 

yup. 06 loves the CPU OC.

 

I need to figure out how you got your dang GTX 280m's so high...I would love to get up to that 17.5k mark

I did some this morning, just was stuttering so much it drove me crazy. Between that and the GF nagging me, called it a short day. Also not a fan of snow on my laptop (it was blowing all around instead of just falling )

Been busy cleaning the house today. When I did have time I was settings up my new M17.

 

these are pretty much on par with batboy and don, drakes were in the 400-650 range (theres a bug in the benchmark.. although its still strange that yours werent in the same range with the same settings..)

Without looking at the score, Just comparing FPS, what did they have. I tried to search for their RUN to compare. I know for sure the SCORE is bugged, but not FPS numbers.

Thats the strange part, from what I remember, no one else's tests for that benchmark had a score, they showed FPS only, as you can see on don and batboys runs above,
Here's Drake's:

 

Theirs didn't show the score because they didn't do the " Rate Benchmark ", which is the button to the left side.

 

yeah there's some kind of DX10 vs DX9 flaw with the benchmark. We gave up on it.

If you guys like the gaming benchmarks post your RE5 and SF4 benchmarks. The last remnant is another.

Drake, Whats the highest clock you are using on the QX9300? I'm having trouble OC'n pass 3.25Ghz. And everytime I run Vantage, it always freeze on the CPU test portion of the Vantage RUN. Can you help me out?
