Wooow on the streetfighter score. What is the second one? I havent seen it before, im still behind on game benchmarks. I should start excluding you from competition lol before people lose interest haha

 

That's Resident Evil 5. You have that as one of the gaming benchmarks.

say. quick question.... so im installing cat 9.11 drivers and im getting mass video coruption when the clocks change from 3d down to 2d...any insight?

 

I've seen an issue with my 3870s and 4870s with cat 9.11 where upon starting a benchmark there may be some corruption where I have to restart it and then it's fine. Is that what your seeing?

 

the best nvidia score is 12108 on the gpu...

And I will add that is with a driver that runs pretty badly on the M17x, the colors are all messed up (cannot be fixed - is a problem with the whole 185 series) and the control panel is very unstable

i didn't give up on the single gpu run. i just knew at my settings i was maxed out and wasn't getting any higher.

 

Nothing against you Moo, but I do not see 2 GTX 260m's getting past the 11,500 mark

And do you have a second M17x heatsink for it?! (different then the M15x one obviously)

 

not really...it's just sitting there and the screen was acting up...but i found the cause...my over clocking software was at fault...screen is fine now. i was a bit worried for a minute....but all seems to be well.

i was getting 15900 3d marks with the 260's and i know they can do more but i don't know on vantage

 

I am going to change a few things on the first post this evening. Be sure to check it out.

 

The changes are done, i will start adding a picture-link to the name of somebody who has a high game score. I already did it with mandrakes since they are recent. I also added a SSD benchmarking section to keep track of the best result of each model. One test of your SSD is more then enough (its not a competition). Anyone got another idea to put in the first post?

 

I suggest that you put a thumbnail Avatar of the benchers next to their score.

 

mm i could try that and see what gives. It cuts away alot of text which is what i am trying to realize. less text so it looks cleaner

wat would be a good size? But i have to change it each time somebody changes avatar. Unless everybody chooses a benchmark avatar and sticks with it this is gonna be hard to do i think.

 

I would say 78 x 78 would be decent.

 

Or you could use the link to the image that the forum uses. Even though I don't know if the forum will let you link them up like that. Example:

Click on any member: Rengsey R. H. Jr. It will send you to the profile.

Then, in the address bar replace the word "member" with "image"

Well if you do the SSD one, here is a Corsair x128 (using Indilinx Barefoot Controller)

 

I geuss everyone will have to choose a permanent image that i can link too.

They all went to the M17 OC thread. Mandrake is successfully bringing the M17 back to the mix.

 

I'm still here. I'm waiting for school to finish to start benchmarking. I have a treat for everyone also.

i just checked out that eyefininy and wow. but i don't want a desktop. i'll go crazy with the setup...

 

i haven't played it yet, but will. not sure how my eyefinity is going to work with monitors ranging from 23 to 26". lol
