wow. i cant hit that without a high cpu clock.
right now i'm doing the dual core thing but the highest i got is 14,501

Might as well have bought a T9900 if your quad is giving you that much of an issue.
-
yikes, screen artifacts. Now I know I'm pushing my system hard.
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
nah i'm good.
what are you running. can you do a shoot out now.
single gpu run 06 3 times
stock cpu stock gpu
overclocked cpu stock gpu
overclocked cpu overclocked gpu -
OK, just need to get my GPUs back to stock first.
Edit: OK starting now. -
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
me to in the same order cept i'm doing dual core 3.06ghz.
-
One note, I am outside because I was heavily OC'ing my GPUs.
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
no problem. i'll also push my gpu's as well when i overclock them.
-
1st run with 1 GPU
2nd run addedAttached Files:

dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
i will put my run in this post. i was just testing if the quad issue with 06 was affected by a single card. i'm on the end of the 2nd cpu test so i will be done.
it isn't affected btw.
dual core run
crossfire works so much better then sli... -
wow your score is like my 4850 crossfire, but ure using just single 4870! awesome card
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
ok. do overclocked cpu and stocked gpu. i'll push my cpu alittle bit more even though it's at it's max....
-
I thought you wanted the single gpu 3 times.
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
yeah. they are single gpu. just overclocked cpu stocked gpu this run....
-
So OC'ed CPU with a single GPU?
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
yeah. run that now. and then after both overclocked.... that's the 3 runs.
-
OC'ed to 3.6Ghz.
Attached Files:

-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
3.188ghz dual
now overclock both of them -
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
my overclocks keeps failing.
-
The graphics test "deep freeze" is how it looks outside over here, lol.
-
Lower it a bit.
-
Here is run #3.
Attached Files:
-
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
lol i would be no where near outside if it was like that.
i'll lower the memory some more. i believe it's the gpu driver though. i never overclocked with it before. -
What's next, stock cpu and stock dual gpu?
-
I already have stock CPU, stock dual GPU and OC'ed CPU and stock dual GPU.
I'm doing OC'ed CPU and OC'ed GPU right now then I'm going inside, brrr. -
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
both overclocked. cpu is at 3.06 running dual
i wonder why sli doesn't scale as well as crossfire???
i was thinking overclocked gpu crossfired/sli'd and overclocked cpu. i'll run in dual core again.
we ran stock gpu and stock cpu just a while ago with dual gpus. -
13K is what I got with my 8800s in my M1730. That was earlier this year.
-
Not bad for a dual core proc. Just 200 points shy of my quad with 280s.
Attached Files:
-
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
nice. what cpu did you have in your m1730?
could of pushed the cpu hard as it was only at 3.06ghz but because that would of required more testing and i would have to reinstall the old doxdrivers since they had a better overclock, i gave up. lol
running it in quad would have gave me an extra 1,600 points -
I had a x7900 in my M1730.
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
max overclocck dual core mode
-
Would have been more fun doing this if your quad was fully operational. Since I hit 17.6 with my old system and 17.4 now it would have been close.
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
yeah but my quad requires more power that the m17x doesnt want to give it so i cant. i can do 3.106ghz though

-

battery is being recognized now which I like
Nothing besides that was ever not working, just got really frustrated and fed up over the stutter and took a break -
I still want to do some Vantage runs with my QX9300 to see if my score goes up. Then again I need to get back to working on the 4850s. I'll probably be outside tonight also.

haha, good luck!

i'm going to see how crysis stands with the qx9300 compared to the t9300

Hey guys i know this will sound funny but in my sig there is a link to free games and in that list there is mahjong 3D. It supposed to stress your GPU really hard. somebody cares to try it out for me? I still havent got mine back so i cant test it
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
it has been removed.
-
the3vilGenius 3vil knows no fear
Euhm its still there. They did remove the images for some reason.

I assume you are referring to the return of the Qx9300 to it's proper home?

Yup and remember what I said earlier today about running on all 4 cores.

how is this?

Dudes,
I am still CPU hunting, and don't want to rush into a bad deal.
So, what's the general O.C. view on the Q9200? There's a few here in U.K., with 'unlocked multipliers'. Any good?
