    and you get a nice hat and the manual is REALLY cool...like a leather hard cover and its rectangle!!! Really different....wait to you see how you open the box also! Good surprises!! And, a cool hard mousepad

    I guess they decided to keep those additional clocks we saw in the review of the pre production model, which is a good thing, cause now we can see how high the qx9300 can go in the M17x :D!

    AND.....I can't tell you how great the silver is enough...NO FINGERPRINTS AT ALL when you touch it. (sorry for yelling). If you people that ordered black find that it fingerprints easily you are going to be sorry! (just kidding black is cool too...)

    He's got the QX9300 so tecnically it's OC'ed via the bios.

    Well, the looks of the M17x are mind blowing. The performance seems to be on-par with the M17 QX9300 @ 3.06Ghz though. Problem is that that the M17x will be getting GPU upgrades in the future, and the M17 is old hat.

    Turbod, the real gaming performance seems to push way past the M17, due to the graphics cards. The 280m GTX in sli beats out the 3870's in crossfirex in real world performance big time.

    wait guys, some people already recieved their M17x? I thought it was going to take over a month for it to shipped? It has been just a little over 2 weeks since the M17x has been available to order. Alienware is shipping these system in 2 weeks or less?

    Just spoke with my sales rep:
    My orders was cancelled because of problems with some SKUs (parts?)
    My payment from the old order has been transferred to a new order.

    So I now have a order-date of 18th of July and he told me my EDD will be 5 days earlier (from the 15th to the 10th of July).
    I just wonder how long they gonna keep me in pre-production now. :rolleyes:

    They've already taken the money from my account, for the first order. They didn't wait for it to be shipped, like they said they would. So, I guess my payment is cleared. I just can't get through to my rep now because yesterday she failed to give me a customer number, order number or internet receipt number.

    I got the new internet receipt number already and my customer number stays the same. These were in in my order received notification.
    I checked these on the internet and there I found my new order number, with a message that they wait for my payment to be cleared, even though they already have my money for 2 weeks now!

    So still in phase 1. :(
