bought 2 items from dell both will be delivered today
funny thing is that the software was sent over night proity A (meaning has to be delivered in the A.M) and the laptop was just sent overnight and can come anytime today. software is here laptop still on a truck somewhere

 

still nothing on my end (canada ontario), ordered june 6th, edd july 27th. Im starting to loose my boner for this machine, Im sadly just meaty now buyers remorse is sinking in, I just bought the m1730 in march, took 2 weeks, but thats just dell, they are usually awesome. SO I know things are picking up, just loosing my chub is all.

 

You do realize dell is building your machien right ???

IN other news the M98nu was delayed till August ......

 

My order got cancelled once but re-placed today and EDD is 27th July - Fully floppy now?

mine finaly arrived at my house

ordered on june 19th
first edd was july 14th
on july 13 in the am hrs edd was changed to aug 11
in the pm hrs it was changed back to july 14th
arrived today

 

good then congrats is in order and post up some pics and bench marks

i got 2 tb usb extranel drives that i can use from my desktop if i needed
maybe buy another SSD drive later

My order just arrived in the UK, near birmingham, about 3 hours away from me, so should be here tomorrow as the date in the email specified xD soo excited lol, it feels like christmas! I just know for a fact ill be at my house window like a lost puppy waiting for UPS to pull up =)

I called dell a week ago to cancel my order. I was transfered over 10 times to different parts of dell and no one could really help. In the end (3 hours later), someone told me I could not cancel the order when it was in the "In Production" stage. I have to wait to receive the order, then ship it back, costing me $375 U.S. for a laptop I want to cancel. On top of that, they are not gauranteed to credit my account. I may have to pay for the laptop anyway. Dell really has been quite frustrating to purchase through. I doubt I will ever buy another Dell computer.

 

Moo, "they are usually awesome ", I meant dell are usually awesome, this is dellianware now, so I was hinting that dell canada was great, but now has the alienware taint, its slowing it down is all I meant. SOO many orders, seems like everything is getting better, enjoy yours tomorrow!

Average time seems about 2 weeks give or take but some people waited almost a month i do believe, so hope that they dont have any more shortages.

 

some insight: I ordered 06/10 and delivered today 07/14

 

upon choosing the the wuxga option, it states i would be delayed by about 6 extra days.. was it always like that on delays since june 2? hmm i was jw because you mentioned shortages...

 

I ordered mine on the 1st of July and there was a 5 day delay back then , i went into boxing yesterday .
