*OFFICIAL* M17x Order Status Thread...

My EDD is the 31st but we should be shipping id imagine in the next couple days /fingers crossed.

 

Oh yeah, I can't wait! Which shipping did you choose? I did the standard one so that may be why mine is several days later. I'm hoping they will ship by the end of the week!

 

I got overnight , i knew once it hit boxing i wouldnt be patient enough lol. It was a 40 dollar difference between standard and overnight , Since i was shelling out this kind of cash already 40 bucks wasnt going to kill me but the wait might have .

 

well i spent almost 6k on my setup and than cheaped out when it came to shipping. I'm just crazy like that.

I got the overnight shipping for free. It was the least after two cancellations and messing up the order.
You could spend the extra $40 on a game or two.

 

I have the money for a new note in my bank since 6-7 months ago and i still have to wait sometime to buy my M17x (gad sometimes i hate to live in brazil :x), after all that time i think I'm going to the cheaper shipping lol (who waits 8 months waits 5 days ya? ).

 

Lol i own 2 many games already as it is and besides i only have a couple hobbies which cost $$ so its easily justified. Also i didnt spend 5 grand or 6 for that matter lol so if was spending that kind of cash you better be certain i would have had overnight .

 

i own only one PC game, just bought it for this baby.. and thats maximum Edition

 

Well i own way to many to count and have been playing PC games forever , i buy to many to even play lol but im sure you will be buying more when you finally get your rig.

I re-ordered my M17x with dual 260's on July 9th, the EDD is August 10th, usually it's supposed to come before the EDD, but I'm not sure how long it's taking for Canadians to get theirs. Any idea what kind of delivery time frame I'm looking at for the real delivery date?

 

i sure will... another game im looking to buy i sf4, altho i need a gamepad... maybe if i can find a ps3 lib driver for vista 64bit 32bit works fine

i know this is off topic but, is it true that even the 260m single is more powerfull than the ps3 RSX? i read that its only a GTX 7800 ... and the 260 is like a GTX 9800 ????

 

The 260's are similar to desktop 9800 GT's, same 112 sp's, only difference are the clocks.

 

i asked the same thing, all these great people here tell me around 3 weeks or so...
we should be getting ours around the same time... altho i dont know about canada???

Shipments seem to be arriving a week early from the EDD's, I hope it's the same for the Canadian guys over there, GL.

 

its brutal, but I know somethings happening, because like earlier posted, the status page is down for some EU people and for myself, which means they are updating that its shipped, or updating that its cancelled again and new edd dec 2012 lol

imagine if you were living in a country where they they prioritized orders because they are more expensive. in the case of Canada what i can understand is that there is complete lack of parts and no one got it. in UK there are a few parts and they select the more expensive orders to host their available parts and prioritize these orders. as for the EDD one week before in not always the case as it can be changed easily by dell . see my history. good luck

there is no lack of parts only limited parts. this is due to demand and they select the orders to prioritize. this is was the case in UK from the beginnning. i am sure they force me to cancel my order and reorder to lose current price and avoid the 10% discount code i used because of its cost which is nearly the basic one. i will cancel but of course i will never reorder and they will lose the 2400 pounds (3914 dollars!) which are not enough for them to send my order.

so an advice to UK people in here. if you want to get your machine on time make an order over 3200 pounds otherwise wait for two months or more. good luck again.

 

Well, maybe for US customers. Mine is almost a week late already.
But then I am for Europe, and we dont really count.

well, my order has now disappeared again - used to be able to login online and check my order status (even though it just sat in "Order Received"), but, as of this evening my order is now no longer available online...wth???

earlier today, as in - late afternoon - it was there and i could still login and see it...4-5hrs later and it's gone...last time this happened they'd cancelled my order for me

Can't call the automated system either as it's only available within working hours - not that it makes sense, but it's not

 

My M17x will be delivered tomorrow.

 

Mine is still in boxing , i figured when another stage of people hit shipping mine would have went with it , but not thus far.

Eh... it's been 15 days and nothing has changed. Still in production and the automated status over the phone says still processing (isn't that worse than "in production?").

 

I'm hoping to see mine move to "shipping" today. It went to "boxing" the 13th. I'm getting excited now because I know it's not much longer. I'm hoping some pallets flew from Malaysia since then....

My fed ex and UPS guys get to my place early in the day so that part atleast i know i have covered and i wont be waiting till 5pm , 2pm at the very latest .

My guys were two hours late when I got it. I was so pissed. Hence my extremely unprepared unboxing video. I got it, unboxed...Went to graduation.

Same here my Fed Ex guy delivers before 10am to my office, so that is where I had my laptop shipped to. It's just me and my boss in our offices so it wont get lost.

 

Tried to order M17x today and at the last screen stopped and decided NOT 'cause of $200+ tax that I had to pay. Does everyone have to pay that tax or only Georgia residents??

 

i don't know if it is the same in all locations but where i am both fedex and ups have 2 trucks come through the area, one will come in the morning and second will come in the afternoon, unfortunately i had to wait to the afternoon truck when i got mine, was dissappoint when the morning one drove by and did not stop. I almost made my fat butt run after him.

 

every one pays tax.... when you go to the store do you decide not to buy your food because of tax ?

Yes depending on which truck has the machine it could come early in the morning or later in the day .

I have ordered from Alienware in the past now 2 times and both times they came pretty early as both were overnight deliverys .
