    Edit: Heh I never even really read the first post, I will go through that.

    Okay, I am in boxing as well, and then it followed saying "Based on your order information, your expected order shipping date is August 6th". That puts it probably a little earlier then its EDD (August 12th), but 18 days of boxing stage? If they are accurate, I believe that sets a new record of boxing stage length.

    "sigh" I just called Dell 1-800 number again and I am still in boxing... that makes it nearly a week in boxing now... I was sure with people who have ordered on the 10th going into boxing mine would have shipped :(

    Lol they might all end up shipping together haha /sad truly sad indeed . Im also thinking there telling people there in boxing so they do not try to cancel the orders when infact there not in boxing because it does not take a week to box up an order.

    Yea! really do hope so... I have all next week off as they are doing special training for the new CSR's (I'm headed off to college!) so I realy want it to come next week... I have a video unboxing and a video review of my novint falcon I need to get cracking on, but the crappy G5 and my Mom's MBP can't seem to handle the firewire connection and craps out when I try to import any video into I movie... so! I just can't wait any longer is basically my point lol!

    If you read the first post by sleepy.. being 8 days in going in to boxing sounds right, then about 4 days to ship from asia to U.S. in about 2 days it prob ships.. then about 5 days to ship to your house...

    so it sounds about right to me.

    My impatience is from the fact other people waiting for their M17X did not stay in boxing as long. I am impatient because I am stuck on desk duty right now and want to take it to work with me. I was patient during the black case and screen shortage but I think we should have gotten some priority after waiting for those.

    Lol the boxing phase can be different for everyone . Some it takes 2 or 3 days while others it can take a week or 2 . There is no way to really pinpoint how fast it will be for every order.

    My complaining about the Boxing phase is purely fun in nature and anyone taking me serious has to get there head examined :D.

    I actually am using the time to decide if I am really brave enough to take it to work. I would be scared to even go to the bathroom and leave it in the office.

    I am impressed (but still a little impatient) with the fact that we're getting these all the way from Malaysia. Any one heard any sales numbers yet from Alienware or Dell for the M17X so far?

    At least all the guys in my family do :D

    Basically, it takes the place of magazines (don't need different subsscriptions anymore). My wife's Sony Z is easy to take in there but the M17x was a challenge... lol

    try sitting in "Order Received" for a toal of 5 1/2 weeks, through three orders after having two of them cancelled...
