*OFFICIAL* M17x Order Status Thread...

Lol caldwell i ordered june 6th.. was delayed on the 24th of june - 27th of july... it shipped on the 16th and it was stolen from the shipping place... do you live in Canada?

 

And i love how they're advertising this laptop every where when they still have 2 month old order's to take care of...

 

M17x is still on track, however i ordered my 9 year old a mini and it has been delayed 10 days ... hope this isn't an omen..

 

That seems to good to be true, especially with more than a month delay and all for others ... Hope atleast you will be lucky ... I cancelled my order after the EDD was shifted two times and then an auto-cancel mail was send by DELL. Way too much ...

Just joined the forums, i wanted to put my 2 pasos in. I ordered on the 7th of July w/an EDD of 6 Aug. It's been in boxing since Monday the 20th, and now I think I have an ulcer from all the excitement.

Same boat here Quinn, ordered the 7th, edd the 6th of August, although after a few calls, and actually talking to a member of my sales rep's team she said mine is in the last stage of boxing (transit from factory to shipping center) so I think we may be able to expect them mid next week! If our ulcers don't kill us first.

 

My 2nd order (DEll cancelled the first !) was placed on 17th July and EDD changed to 14th August at the beginning of the week. Thankfully today I got an email saying it had been sent to UPS for delivery So as some people have found the EDD isn't always a great indication

well - my unit has shipped out of the factory today - finally done with the manual Q&A after the quick 24hr build

EDD is set to the 31st of July, however, i'm getting "VIP" delivery and it should be here early next week rather than friday..total estimated turnaround (after corp affairs stepped in) is 9 days from actual build start to delivery...

TV Tuner was meant to be delivered yesterday but i couldn't make it home on time - getting it tuesday as well..

looking forward to this for sure

Nice, similar setup to what I ordered, but mine is still in the build stage.

 

I just sopke with Dell tech support, sounds like mine is going to be shipped early next week!! Let's hope for the best.

Yess! I was able to set up a return with no charge at all. Love dell so far. Now to play the waiting game for my new order...

 

I ordered the same day, but had an EDD of Aug12. Regardless, I have been in boxing for at least a week now, so I hope I will on schedule with you.

 

Well Hutch looks like a pretty big boat, the ulcer started when i strated to build the lappy, and maintain a 3K budget. I'm a laptop VIRGIN and this will actually be my first laptop. I firgure if you gonna have your cherry popped might as well let the ALien do it. I hope it does ship next week i have next day buisness for free.

I'd say you'll get it withing 2 weeks if your in the US.

The WUXGA screen was delaying ppl by a week or two but that looks to be cleared up now as it isn't listed as being delayed any longer.

So, 11 days build time = 2 weeks and 1 day

 

so im probly gonna get it at my EDD then?

 

Good news is that I'm in phase 3

Bad news: New EST shipping date: August 29th?!? HELP! At least I have a W90 to play with, which I'm still trying to optimize, but I can't wait that long!

didnt i mention that i used all the options for checking it, and all i got was "In Production" couple days ago they told me "Building" but now its just "In Production"

 

I called customer service for the 3rd day in a row asking about my order status, lol, my EDD is for august 10th but I have been told I could get it as soon as next Friday, apparently it should be shipping out within one to two business days, unfortunately it didn't ship out today, so maybe on Monday.

I sure hope it comes soon, I'm anxious to mess around with it, and run a few benches, maybe I wont bother them next week, lol.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW LONG YOU ARE IN BOXING!

once they fill up a shipment you will ship. They usually ship 1-2 shipments a week meaning you could be in boxing for 2-5 days.

My EDD changed from 27th of July to August 14th - but the next day it shipped so I think it's very unlikely you'll have to wait that long

Man this waits killing me, I just got my current laptop back from a repair shop and it took them a week to install more RAM and run a cpu stress program when I told them to check my GP because of the stuttering issues I had with gameplay. After recieving my laptop and messing with it I find out I have to completely replace my motherboard because of the IGP being possibly damaged and it leaves me pissed off at the shop I went to. My ETA has been reduced to the 4th but I dont know what Im going to do with this pos I currently have.

 

They're getting a lot quicker... ordered July 19th... in boxing stage today.

Woooooooooottttt. I have gone into shipping as well as of this morning! Sadly the ETA of 8-13 has not changed yet. Though I imagine it will shortly as I payed for Next Day shipping. No tracking number though :-(

 

Don't worry about the ETA. They never changed mine either, it stayed as August 5th even though I got it 3 days ago. If you're in shipping now I would guess that you'd get it next Monday or Tuesday.

 

Dante you will get it Monday if you ordered next day. Mine took exactly 24 hours (thursday to friday) So I think you will be good.
