    I suppose that is possible. You would be in a position to deal with them better than us though wouldn't you? I thought you were some sort of reseller. (just what I had gathered from reading in forum over the last month)

    i can get most hp parts wholesale as well as dell and a few others since i own a repair / custom shop so i deal direct with a lot of the reps. but i checked my price on the qx9300 when you posted it and it was over 800$ cost so i thought i would at least grab a couple.

    i used to be a ocz reseller till they dropped the notebooks i still am on to sell ocz parts but i dont advertise it at all since besides ram they dont do much for notebooks.

    what was the order things happened in for the people who have received one.

    I ask because I have been charged (just today) but have not gotten any tracking info and ordered before any of you did.....

    i ordered 6 hours after you posted the sell, charged onto my credit card.
    i got traking days later though.
    got it this morning
    i have a very fast fingers LOL.
    I ONLY ORDERED 1 OEM QX9300 FROM HP.

    I ordered the oem qx9300 from hp so fast i finished my order through the checkout before you can say "MOTHER".
    lol i got the turbo fingers baby.

    There is no box for the proc, just the box it ships in and padding. The proc itself is in an anti static bag and therma l paste in a syringe and an alcohol wipe is also included.

    That's what people said when the M1730 came out with the pricing error. I flipped it in two days for a few hundred dollar profit. Plus that deal was advertised on slick deals.

    Almusabi, you might want to be careful about adding an even faster quad, a lot of the M17s have been suffering issues with stuttering with them. I can see you already have a quad, so might be a lucky one, but adding a faster one will increase the chances you will have an issue.

    An X9100 might be a better bet; they're cheaper, overclock further in many cases, will work just as well if not better in many scenaros (quad support is currently pretty limited) and have no compatability issues with the M17 platform :)

    Ebay is really the only place and i wouldnt call the prices on there even decent anymore . When i bought my OEM Qx9300 for my W90 i paid $520.00 and now there atleast $200.00 more . I have a ES QGNG now and its perfect and cost far less.

    It should bring up the QX9300 and it appears to still be order-able. They did close it, but now it appears available again. It might be worth a shot to try it.
