Is it easy to Configure the lighting to flash with music and all that other junk or is the UI clunky??
-
-
i havent tried to do that, i should try it out if its possible, that seems cool
-
yeah its possible, At the C.E.S. they had it hooked up to guitar hero III and it was all crazy disco ****
-
YAY! Mine has shipped according to the website.... Lets see how fast they can get this baby up to Canada. I wonder how they have the whole customs things worked out as it was ordered via the Canadian website, I guess it will ship in bond somehow ... hmmmm.
MR waters glad you got the optical thing figured out. Thats the same setup as my current gateway. Can't wait to attach this puppy to my SOny HDMI Rear Projector and Sound system.. .hehe -
i had no idea there was an advanced editor. there are cool morphing and pulsing effects, but they're a little annoying as far as getting stuff done.
ill have to fiddle around with it to see how to do it to the beat of music -
-
lol, Still pretty f'n awesome though huh??
-
-
Damn You Phase 4, Be Done!!!!!!!
-
I got to your exact school (Ai San Diego) lol Vid game Art 2nd quarter
-

Small world man. I have character modeling tomorrow morning haha -
Niice, yeah man I need to finish up some damn character sheet for character n object design for tommorow morning havent even started it. Ill def see you round with the M15X! specially if u spend some time @ the library haha.
-

So whats the deal with the 64 bit vista, is it just a setting or do you need ultimate to get it??. The reason I am asking this is because I am recieving 4gb of ram with my notebook and I believe that the lower version caps your ram out at 3.5. Anyone know about this>?>
-
Yoo Abs, yeah Windows Vista 32 Bit only recognizes around 3.5 Ram. And windows vista itself needs like a gig or so just to run well! haha. But anyways any windows vista version has the 64 Bit version except for i think the cheapest one. But windows vista ultimate & windows Vista premium home carry it. Thing is you need to keep in mind upgrading to 64 bit while it will recognize that extra ram has a lot of compatibility issues with current programs and drivers. I would rather not have to go through that hazzle and settle for the Recognizable 3.5 Ram
-
Ahh ok, So I guess it would be better to wait until things clear up a bit with vista, cuz I know it's kinda well, choppy right now. But I heard that is due to the fact that most people don't have more than 2 gig on thier system anyway. Hopefully, vista will be nice to me, it came with premium. Can't wait to try crysis on it either.
-
Lol, same ere
. yeah my current PC is desktop Alienware with 8800 GTX with 2 Gb Ram when I run 3DS MAX 9 & 2008 it lags while in the viewports when in hardware mode so I need to use Software render mode :S. Crysis will be a great game but... im all about Starcraft 2 and Wrath of the lich King ohhh!!
-
LOve starcraft@@
- -
But is there anyone else who has been in phase 4 for a long time. It should not take that long to get the damn parts together.
-
Oh... look at the m9750 Owners lounge thread to see peoples phase games haha, but you guys gotta keep this on topic lol
-
sorry lol I just hate waiting, I am very very impatient
-
Well guys, i finally received my m15x with 8800 gtx, the design is nice...

more updates to come -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
that would have sucked if yoiu had to send it back, whats it like, what are games on it like, hows the screen size 15inch seems a bit small
i hope you enjoy your new machine, cant wait til the m17x gets released in UK. -
i am at work , i will install games today and give pictures and benchmarks soon...probably tonight, so sit tight...i must say that it does look better in person...
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
thats cool.
the only other thing i dont like about is the look it just doesnt look as mean as the m9750^^, maybe when they release the ribbed effect back and also allow it to be black then it will look at lot cooler. -
check out theses pics
if you were wondering, there is no side lights...Attached Files:
-
-
Wow, so some people get side lights, others don't. Alienware is about to piss off a LOT of people.

And GOD, you're making me soo jealous, I need one already! -
Hi, I got a question
Is the DVD driver a "Slot in" or is it the standard DVD driver?
And how's the case surface, does it resist scratches? -
it seems to be kinda scratch prone...looks like i am going to have to buy a neoprene sleeve (the sleeve that comes with it is pretty useless). All in all it is a very minimal look, which was what i was going for!!The lights on the keyboard are super nice. BTW, i didnt like the ribs where the speakers are on the photos i saw...but in person they are actually dont bother me.
-
cant wait to ty on games tonight on the 8800 gtx!!!
-
Man....having trouble working right now...too excited
-
Wow nice pics Dan, thanks a lot for taking them!
-
Congrats. it looks great cant wait for mine to get here.
Guess I shouldn't complain that much my work pc is a m9750. -
Hey thanks dan for the photos...
Time to part ways with my M1330 and order the m15x wuahaha.. -
man, mrwater was right though, the touchpad is really bad! (and the unibutton idea isn't too great, but at least you can substitute that with tapping the touchpad)
-
Can't wait to get mine, on aw site it says its shipped but I still dont have my shipping number. I guess its going to be emailed at some point.
-
is it just me, or does the computer never shut down? If I remember correctly, mrwater said that it would never fully shut down, but I don't know for sure.
anyone else having this problem? or is it just insanely slow? -
i just shut down mine and it shut down pretty quickly..
