Here's my setup. Sorry for the iPhone picture, I can't find my camera.

So it's my Macbook Pro, my trusty M-Audio soundcard, stage piano, JVC monitors, amp, STM backpack (in the back) Razer bluetooth mouse, WD 320gb external, and you can't see in the picture, the 1tb Time Capsule of Doom

 

They are the Klipsch Promedia 2.1; sound on them is awesome. I've had them for a couple of years now

My MBP is on the desk, but it rarely gets used these days

This is my latest addition to my setup. I just got it a few days ago. Love the results!



It's a Canon Pixma Pro9500, and it kicks the proverbial buttocks! I'd never put 10 ink cartridges in a printer before...

 

And while everybody else complains about gas prices, youl go "YOU SHOULD SEE MY BILL FROM OFFICE DEPOT"

 

that is an excellent printer, Canon and Epson have those type of printers on lock down, both make excellent models.

 

I don't have any cool setup like you guys so here is my MBA on my coffee table:

 

Here is my office setup. 20 inch apple cinema display+15 inch macbook pro. I love my setup. Also I took the picture using my iphone.

This setup is eerily similar to a trading desk....

 

From a legal standpoint, Apple can impose any conditions it wants but you're free to violate those conditions all you'd like, as a matter of case law. It has something to do with the fact that you only get to see the conditions that Apple wants to impose as a condition of buying its product after you've bought it, opened the shrinkwrap, installed it and thus have rendered it unreturnable. And then there's the fact that, as a matter of case law, you, as an individual with no legal training (I assume) are not reasonably expected to read a 50+ page EULA. Now if a corporation violated the EULA, it is reasonably expected that it has legal counsel that can explain the EULA to the appropriate people, and thus are liable for a breach of contract, per the same SCOTUS ruling.

Mac Pro is connected to my 52" Sony bravia XBR4, xbox 360 (modded), popcorn hour for movies, b&w 685 speakers, yamaha v861, rotel ra-985BX power amp.

Definitely go with the dual monitor setup. It's much more efficient.

 

Thanks guys, I've tried the 30" and while its great its just too big even for using it as just by itself.

But that's just me I found the 23" ACD just perfect as the main and a 20" as a second display to play videos or other stuff open like ichat, word, etc is perfect.

 

Hey jjahshik32 totally beautiful setup. Very clean and purposeful. And to iwantamac you brought me back to my days in contract law. I nearly cried. Not from the contract law memories its just that my lecturer was really hot. I'll post mine as soon as I get it resembling something other than a bomb site.

BTW I running a quad monitor setup between the pc and the MBP's screen with external 19" lcd. After the iMac arrives with the 2 24" HP's its gonna be 7 screens. I'm retarded I know but in a few years there won't be enough fossil fuels to run a calculator so I'm getting my fun now.

 

Took an undergrad admin class this past spring: arbitrary, capricious and patently contrary to logic [law] is my favorite phrase now.

Depends on what resolution you want. You have to keep in mind what resolution the games support, and many don't go up that high to justify a 30" screen. And you need to be sure you even have enough power to have your game run at the highest settings and resolution otherwise it would not reach its greatest potential and the 30" would end up being a bit of a waste. And many of the newer games like Crysis currently cannot even be run satisfactorily on its very highest settings. Keep all these factors in mind before buying. I would opt for the 2 x 23" definitely.

I dont think this should be sticked, I like it better when I see it on the first page so that I know that someone has posted something new on it. If it were sticked I probably would end up never checking it out. It is a very good thread nonetheless.
