    Another thing you may want to think about is SquareTrades warranty for the X1. You can get a 3 year warranty for $127.99 after using "TWTYOFF" coupon. Haven't had to use their warranty yet, but I did buy it for my ASUS UL30VT-X1. It was simple and easy. Also, transferring the warranty is very easy and straight forward.

    You are a ting me? Another delay? I've just about had it..... Darn it if AlienWare hadn't messed up I would have had some power in my hands and would have probably, only to regret it afterwards, dashed out a grand more from my savings and gone with the AlienWare. I feel powerless, and shalt rant here by hereby vehemently stating my absolute, albeit temporary, abhorrence of ASUS.

    Yikes is the right word. I'm seeing another large group of cancelations incoming, DUCK....

    Just too many other really good laps out and in stock right now from other companies. I really love Asus but they dropped the ball on this one and are getting their ace out a bit late in the game. I got my A2 just in time thankfully.

    However if I were someone with a pre-order I would cancel it and buy an X-1 and have it tomorrow.

    Buy a 500GB HD for the second bay and install it yourself!

    Those X-1s will be gone by tonight I would hurry lol.

    2 months indeed! I've forgotten the month I ordered this. I'll probably forget I ordered this at all in a few more weeks. It was practically last year! I need to stop ranting...... Or atleast not do so on the forum; alternative being girl friend who's sound asleep and might have a thing or two against my waking her up, so.....I can't take it anymore.... This delay AND the delay I'm inevitably going to have to endure because of customs in Aussiland. I hate my life. I want to die.
