I was gonna maker her goth but maybe not everybody has the same tastes as me.

I should make an animated gif with the new one, people will look at it and be like "hmm this looks a bit odd for some reason" and stare at it close and than BAM! the oringal picture comes up.

Got blu-ray working again by installing PowerDVD9 Ultra.

For whatever reason the Asus Touch Media software stopped playing back any sort of video (DVD, blu-ray, etc...) and all I'd get is a black screen.

So I uninstalled it, loaded up PDVD9 and all is good in the world once again

 

Is that PowerDVD9 Ultra is the disc that came with this computer?

 

No this is my own personal copy.

I don't think the W90 comes with any version of PowerDVD Ultra, though it does include some Cyberlink software titles.

 

The tuner card would go in one of the 2 pci express slots underneath the slave card .

 

I see. I know the computer came with three discs and one of em was power2go or something like that..

 

Now that I look at it again, yer quite right Quad
The tuner should fit under the slave card, though I'd imagine it would be a tight fit.

The cards are generally quite thin so there should be enough clearance where it wont cause problems and the backs of the vid cards are shielded as well for heat . Im making a Wireless xbox 360 internal controller card with one of those express slots.Found a card that lets ya do internal USB through wires. We shall see how it turns out .

 

That sounds like a cool mod and right up my alley, so you found an pci-->usb adapter?

You could just wire it in parrell with a existing usb header though I would think.

 

God its going to be a long week, going from an 18" W90 to this mini 10" EEE 1000H its so small and slow

Normally I can use the EEE pretty easy and like it but after having the W90 for that long this is a big step back.

I am hooking my lcd television up to my w90 through hdmi, and i am only getting sound out of my laptop not my television. Anyone know why? I ahve already tried changing thhe control panel options but it sayd my realtek hdmi is unplugged.

 

is the tv sound input set to hdmi?

also if you changed the video card drivers change them back to stock, it may just have something to do with it.

In the right hand corner of your desktop you have a little sound icon , right click on it and select playback devices , from there try each of the 4 choices and you also may need to restart the app,movie or game before you get sound so just keep tinkering with it till you get sound from one of them.

 

I clicked on the top thread as usual but it turned out to be the wrong answer. You guys are slacking off, try and pick up the pace. lol Fixed now...

Yeah, I have to check the date when I get home from work. Its gonna be close.......I know I sent it back on 3/11 and there was that delay because they didn't have any to ship me. I may be outta luck by a few days. Given the circumstances perhaps someone at ASUS will approve with the proper pleading. If not I will go cross eyed staring at the dot.

On a side note, as a child, when my brother and I acted up at school, we had a nun, Sister Mary Theresa who would draw a dot on the chalk board and make you stare at it during detention.....Ack the memories!!!!!

I dont know any german at all other then the NEIN word but not by spelling just by hearing it in movies . Other then that it just sorta came to me .
