I have a G51, and still no email...
-
I still don't have it either.
-
It changed to "Fulfillment in progress" today.
At least my status is changing.... -
What the heck doe it mean, that it's now shipping? -
-
SoundOf1HandClapping Was once a Forge
Looks like I'm in "Fulfillment in Progress, too".
Win7, here I come. -
Forge youre lying.
-
SoundOf1HandClapping Was once a Forge
Bah. I was going to photoshop something, but it's not worth it.
-
My status is also now 'Fulfillment in Progress' (which is very Zen!), but I'm curious. I actually already have retail Windows 7 Home Premium discs for another laptop and also a desktop, can I simply use the License from the upgrade bundle to install one of these? I ask since it took me the better part of a day to root out the million and one utilities the laptop came with originally, and the thought of doing it all again makes me shudder - better to never have the stuff autoinstall in the first instance!
-
Mine change too
Order Status Fulfillment in progress
people gettings this status message now, when do you did the order, i mean the date? -
I have that message as well, yet I do not feel any more fulfilled than I did yesterday. It must be a gradual process.
-
I'm now showing "fullfillment in progress" too - wonder what that means?
-
Same message here... in both my orders. And in one of them I've never sent the proof of purchase. We'll see.
-
I assume it means that the discs are ready and ours are in the queue to be packaged and shipped.
-
-
I already have it...I just want a new license key before my RTM install expires.

I ordered 8-17-2009
-
ordered the 26 of august, It just changed to fulfillment in progress. Hopefully its a good sign!
-
Well I order the day before Windows 7 came out...
So does that mean I'll be getting it last?
I have the Fulfillment in Progress as my status as well... -
I doubt it. You will probably get it when i get it to be honest lol
-
Fullfilment in Progress as well, Yippie..........
-
My order changed from Pending for Fulfillment to Fulfillment in Progress yesterday.
Today it showed Ready to Ship. Well then, ship it already, I'm tired of waiting.

Lucky you Allstar ... I am still at the "Fulfillment in Progress" stage ... wonder what is involved in this phase ...
-
-

i put it in my bookmarks toolbar and check it every so often. same fulfillment in progress as well. -
Mine's finally ready to ship.
-
Just received mine.It indeed comes with a driver disc.I haven't dabbled yet with the disc's content,so can't really say what's inside, but at least it's there.Final proof that the ball's rolling.Sorry for the poor image quality,I took them pics quickly with my phone(also had to downsize them from 3MP to comply with the stringent attachment rules, quickly done thru MSPaint).I think the essential is still visible, though.Good luck to those who are still waiting,it'll get to U sooner or later.
-
If i do a clean install, can i use the disc with drivers after windows 7 installation is finished or just valid when doing an upgrade? it just to know if i need to download them from site and have then handy when finished.
-
Well U can use the drivers' disc any way U wish. It's not one those HP drivers' discs only usable when doing a factory reinstall. The drivers' disc isn't tied to the Windows install media:it's standalone. My drivers' disc came with drivers for Vista, but when I installed Win7 RTM,I was able to simply pop the drivers' DVD in and install the said drivers.
So,to answer your question, yes,U can use the drivers on the disc after a clean install. That being said, there's nothing wrong with downloading the drivers from the site,as they are generally newer than the ones on the disc.I myself always have a set of all the lappie's drivers from the site stored somewhere, and I update the setup files from time to time, when I feel like visiting the website and there's novelty in the air. -
Shipment confirmation with tracking number!
-
Been at "Fullfillment in progress" for 3 days now - wonder how long it takes to put 2 disks in an envelope?
-
I finally went to "Ready to Ship", so we shall see..........
-
Mentor Media's communication with customers sucks. When I emailed them on Oct 15 to see if they ever received my proof of purchase, since I never heard anything confirming that they have the paperwork, they just replied back saying if they did get it, I would be notified when the product ships.
Today, however, I finally received a shipping and confirmation number email. -
SoundOf1HandClapping Was once a Forge
Still no emails whatsoever from them, even though I'm in Fulfillment in Progress.
I probably need to bug them if it doesn't change in a few days. -
-
the G51VX is listed as a G60VX on the win7 upgrade page -
i got mine tracking number!!! guess what im doing for thanksgiving... WIN7
-
Just got my email stating shipped............
-
I don't see where they list them together, is there something I am missing? -
wow i got the fulfilled thing, no shipping though.
-
I'm still in the Pending for Proof of Purchase phase. I resend my invoice/form so hopefully this gets going. Funny thing is I bought my Acer at the same time as my Asus, they both used the same fulfillment company and I already recieved that Win 7 disc, no driver disc with it though.
-
Entering day 4 of "Fullfillment in Progress" - they must have ran out of envelopes and are waiting for more...LOL
