ok you guys are being () to me, first i get no support... but thats ok because i never said you "had" to help me. All i know, is that i heard someone else got help here with money problems, so that's why i was asking. ok, basically i was gonna make some videos of me gaming, for benchmarking purposes, and the fraps would work really well, with its fps counter and all of its counterparts working together. basically i like by the rule, why would someone ever buy something when they could get it for free, and the truth is, a few people would, just to be able to say they bought it, but most people wouldn't, and in this case, a ton of people bought fraps. so there has to be some reason that they paid 37$ for it rather than get it for free with gamecam... so there is something different between the two. and i have heard a lot of good stories and reviews about fraps...

So I heard on the xoxtic forums that this will be 1400? That makes no sense though. Also its almost Nov 1, are new GPU'S on the horizon. This laptop is coming out pretty close to the next cycle of graphics cards. Also gaming performance difference what are we talking (I7 G51J vs G51 X1A)

The desktop GT300 won't be out til next year. The mobile version will be months after the desktop release.

 

Rumor is mid $1400. let's say under $1500 to be safe.

Everything is literally the same as the G51vx-A1 with the exception of the i7 and ddr3. I chose to upgrade the processor to the i7 820 1.73ghz. I was going to post my specs and price, but since xotic took it down from their website, I decided against it. Personally, I don't think it's a big deal,but they must have taken it down for a reason.

If price is correct as it is "rumored" to be, then it will be very promising. However, the cost of silicon chips may change tomorrow. Therefore, the official price could go either way.

Still a pretty good price in my opinion considering it's got the the i7 and ddr3, and it's a touch more than 1400. You probably got yours using the Bing offer. Consider yourself lucky for the price you got it.

yea, but by my special physic powers, i predict someday there will be a netbook on there...cuz they have up to 50000 ticket items (office ultimate which retails for 670USD) so my guess is anything that cost 600USD or below can pop up on there. hopefully something good, i got a 18K/14K/7K/2K/4K/5K account...and THEY growing as we speak...hehehe

sach how long did it take to get your confirmation email for bing?

 

if you read it you would know that it takes around about 1 month +/- 1-3 days for the item to ship so and depending on area it takes 2-5days shipping. mine takes 3 days to ship from the time the confirmation email is sent. so wait a month a an email should pop up in ur inbox saying ur item has been shipped. ships by UPS btw.
