I GET IT NOW
-
Careful for fraud, make sure you don't pay with cash or money order or wire transfer, cause you can be screwed. He only have 48 reviews, I would be really cautious.
-
Sounds like the guy has some sort of business account with Dell. We'll see if he can actually deliver that quickly...Either way it doesn't seem like a great deal with only a 1 year warranty... -
He is not getting it next Friday... The build time on this system is 10 days which would bring it automatically passed next weekend and thats if they took his order, right now and immediately started building...hours after the order is placed.
Considering the LED issue is an extended delay and there is at least a 1 day hold on 9 cells...
We all know hes been snowed...
And everyone needs to remember...the one day shipping does not push your build day up and 1 day shipping is not 1 day in most cases so....where are we now?
and oh smokes.....I emailed the ebay guy who BELIEVES he will have the systems in that time but cannot guarantee. He can guarantee he has your money as soon or a day after you purchase though. Your order will not go in until you pay! -
-
Hey!!!!! I just called the automated system delivery line. My system has been shipped!!!!!! Its says it was shipped Jul 1 1998!!!
But its been shipped so I can tell everyone this right???
I cleared this up trust me. -
-
-
i had not ordered from yet when i made that post, i was in the process but deciding back in forth if i should or not, i then did so i edited the post. i didn't think i would get mutiple posts about me editing my post lol and im sorry that i did
and i used a visa credit card, whcih will easily be able to file a charge back if there is any problem or if its not shipped by friday. i don't care either way but can only wait either way.
and all 48 feedbacks are basically for dells and there is also a website -
Kickace...Please get back to us with a huge email next Friday. You can caption it... YOUR WRONG FLAMENKO!!
Im laughing my back end off right now...really I am.
I hope your right, truly and the guy would begetting it from his business account as its Vista business that your receiving... I just think he is not aware of the backlog which is evident right now.
Dell has stated that first round of systems got to England and Australia this time then US/Canada...yet another complication... -
-
hmm, somebody is using all the hype around 1330 to make a quick buck
-
ok jesus, all im gonna say is i am sorry for editing my post and not having it originally say that ordered the auction.
if i dnt get it shipped by next friday, then the order gets canceled, its as simple as that -
Dont get upset...you just opened a can of worms as there are probably hundreds of irritated buyers who are waiting here.
Look at the upside. You just made this the most populated and active thread with responses coming in as we type...You created interest and thats whats important.
I was going to suggest you create your own thread and we can follow it until next Friday!
im still laughing my sphincter muscles off (can i say that)? -
-
with mentioning the england, australia, US order of shipping, and how could it be ready in 5-7 business days when it takes atleast 10 days to build unless you have already ordered it , but if you already ordered it, how could i pick the color - also told him to contact dell today to get an update just incase because if its not shipped by next friday, my order will be canceled.
we will see what he sais -
That's it, I call BS on this whole deal.
-
I may use that in my sig -
I Did Call Him On The Phone - Im Saying He Just Answered Another Email Of Mine
-
would you like the damn email proof!? im not lying and this is getting me a bit mad
-
-
I think we can because there are lots of external sources available (haha Im not touching that one) but heres the def:
sphinc·ter /ˈsfɪŋktər/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[sfingk-ter] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation

[Im laughing so hard my wife thinks Ive lost it] -
Got $50 that says that he doesn't get it by Friday -
all i said was can you 100% guarantee me that it will ship by next week, i asked that in 2 emails and on the phone like 4 times. i kept saying on the phone after i ordered that i will cancel my order if it doesnt ship by then.
i just got another email responding to the you won the item email and he said that it would ship with the color i wanted within the 5-7 days.
but since you guys were saying thats impossible i decided to ask all the other stuff about delays, when he has the last contact with dell, etc, if hes already made the order, etc -
and i dont expect it by next friday - hes just saying it will ship by next friday - im changing my sig -
Kickace!!!!!
My advice for now is just dont reply. We all know we got your back up and we are laughing...unfortunately at your expense a bit. Thats a good thing because you lightenned up the frustration level here.
The only way to get out of the corner now is to remain silent and wait until the roaring dies down...then quietly exit stage left. -
agreed, but if this actually ships by next friday, a new thread will be started
if not, well, we all know it will happen so i wnt say if not -
-
-
thats not my worry at all, if he refuses to give me my money back if i cancel, then i will simply file a chargeback and my bank does a 1 day no questions asked chargeback time. just have to show them the ebay auction number and paypal payment receipt
did this 2 years ago and had my money back immediately -
Told you to stay quiet for your own good but.....
Ok...first off if you paid by paypal, its not an automatic chargeback. You have to wait 30 days to file the claim then, if accepted, he has 30 days to respond and back and forth. the quickest you can get chargeback by paypal is 4 months.
If you paid by a bank transaction such as online transfer...theres nothing you can do and your bank CANNOT issue a chargeback unless you initiate a police action of theft or fraud which would take months.
There is no facility that Im aware of that can just say "Ok sir we will reverse that for you even though you voluntarily transferred these funds to this person"
If you paid by Visa, once again...months for you to establish you were ripped off.
Sooo... i hate to say this but this guy can get away with not shipping your item close to three months before you can get any sort of result.
How would I know this??? Its my background. -
sad thing is i was just trying to help anyone else who wanted to pay a bit extra to get it sooner (well its cheaper for me with epp) and this is what i get. i hope you guys enjoy your m1330 and i hope i enjoy mine
-
We should be encouraged by this news. If he gets it by next friday, then we should get ours before then. LOL...
-
This arguement is givin me a chubby
-
Believe this!!!! Each and everyone last one of us hopes you get your system by Friday. We truly do!!!
This would validate Dell's claim that they are moving their systems much faster than the system is showing. It would be amazing to receive my systems by next Friday.
See, one of my system is a replacement system which Im told is pushed to front of the pack. I cannot get a delivery date on it and Im continually told exactly this.
Do I believe them...no...Im a 'glass is half empty' kind of guy. -
-
Just think...next month at this time we will all be here again bragging about how much we love (or hate) our new systems.
I have no less than 6 pm's on two sites asking people to put my two systems side by side and see how much faster the solid state drive starts Vista then the standard. -
Hey, how did you get 50% off of your system?
-
Im in Canada and we just had the Dell Mystery Coupon Days. Halelujah!!!!
and they can only be used once...tried it already. -
damn canucks and their Mystery Coupon Days
-
so that's what all that mystery coupon business was about... man what a deal.
-
In Canada we just had Dell Mystery Coupon Days where Dell registered people receive codes in their email or by snail mail. Depending on the code you receive, you may get 15/50 or 75% off your next purchase of specific systems.
I got a 1/2 off coupon. You have to know exactly what you want however because the code is site specific and applicable to only certain systems. The M1330 was one.
Further, the specific systems are marked up depending on what you order. I compared my two systems listed in my sig block to see this.
So Cdn funds... my system I bought listed for 3265 with taxes. I got it for 1538 and because of extenuating circumstances they threw in complimentary upgrades for complete care (3 yr) and the LED display.
Now the bottom system I am receiving as an exchange for a defunct m1210; its a complimentary exchange.
Just for the fun of it I compared its prices. If I would have purchased it on the site during Mystery Days, it was 3220 w/ taxes incl. Now its 2850 w/ taxes.
The top system on the other hand remains at the taxed price of 3200 plus on either site (because of the SS drive).
I feel like a thief at 1538 for that system or.... 1323 plus taxes.
I got the top system you can get for less than the price of the base model..
Yes!!! -
Any ship yet?
-
Ship? LOL...
I don't think I've heard of anyone's comp getting out of the BUILD stage... *sigh*.
So depressing... -
I just checked my order status online and over the phone and it looks like my m1330 won't be shipping soon. It was CANCELED. The order status page says it was canceled at my request, but i never did so. As you can imagine, I'm infuriated. Plus Dell customer service is closed today (Sunday)...eff.
...and i was being a good customer... no whining about the late ship date and all that bologna.... -
-
hmm i wonder if the "self cancellation" had anything to do with ordering through Dell EPP and the university discounts.......wonder if they are actually trying to verify enrollment or something......
-
Specs: T7300, 2gb ram, 120gb hd, 8400m gs, LED screen, bluetooth, wireless N.
I just sent an email to Dell customer care (i think that they've answer questions of mine during the weekend before)... I'll report back with the response.
I really hope they can undo this.. if not that means no m1330 for me. -
I would think they would do that before they sent the order confirmations....
.. oh well... i'm safe and legit with my EPP order.
M1330 Shipping soon!!
