Post when XPS M1330 ordered and when/if shipped

Well, now, ah would nevah! (said in the best southern accent a girl formerly of NJ can muster) I'm not even opening the box.

Besides, I kinda like my crappy ass CCFL. It got me a concession coupon and I get to use it until I get the right one.

 

I'm not offering anything until I have it. I don't want to violate board rules by seriously discussing it in a thread anyway.

 

I think they have already ramped up production. When you look at the number of people going to boxing or testing in the past two days on this website, and multiply that across the entire population of people who have outstanding orders, that's quite a number of machines that are moving...

 

Pooey.... if I don't get mine by then I might make an offer.

 

Question is why people that ordered on 6/26 still stuck in "Build Stage" My EDD is tomorrow according to DELL. yeah right!

 

How much was the coupon?

Chinese shops will soon have the M1330s available for purchase.

I URGE you all to get commenting and say something along the lines of "I'd better get mine first"! I've already left mine.

I'm still in Pre-Production (UK)... Now, bearing in mind I haven't actually spoken to a rep before Monday 23rd July, I would hardly say I've been hounding them, but nonetheless:

Never got that phone call I was promised before 1pm on Thursday...

Sent an e-mail to Ronald Male (a manager, from what I understand) at 12pm Thursday and haven't got a reply...

Sent an e-mail to the rep who I ordered the system from at 12:30pm... no reply... I even rang his extension on Thursday 26th at midday and got his answerphone that said "I will be back in the office at 9am on Thursday 26th. Please leave your name and number". I hung up.

 

ordered today (few hours ago)

I called 800-915-3355 to check order status...it's in build stage
i did order through my univ site, it redirected me to dell.com and i placed my order there.

 

Don't get your hopes up. It just means your payment was approved.

no its tru, i went rite into build stage also. every1 is now who orders goes directly into it.

 

It seems to do that... even tho you might be in pre-production.

Errr, you honestly think they're skirting our orders to put them out at Bic in Japan? I'd bet they'll only get there when the initial orders clump gets shipped out.

 

But it's the principle of the whole thing... They shouldn't boast about their new retail situation until they've managed to handle their current online ordering fiasco.

I just think a little tact wouldn't have gone amiss!

 

it's funny how I had a PS3 and an iphone both on launch day but here I am going into my 5th week without a dell laptop!

Hours closer to canceling my M1330!!!! I am getting kind of excited...lol

 

lol well i ordered fairly soon, the 27th, i would think my order would be towards the top behind all the people who ordered the 26th lol but there are people who ordered 3 weeks after i did and are further along the process chain

 

I was thinking about that earlier... Both Xbox systems were in my house on their respective launch days. Yet Dell? The earliest deliveries of m1330s came almost a month after "launch".

STILL pre-production.
STILL no update on d2d.

I'm clearly getting cranky so I'll just go play my 360 now, because at least that's been delivered to me! Night all.

The system is what it is folks... I have a contact at a very high level; he said he would be overseeing my orders until I got a knock at my door.

He won my confidence back after several cancellations and a promise that I would not suffer one further cancellation.

Well tonight it happened again...

The worse part is we are handcuffed when this happens. Its a terrible, terrible feeling.

Sure I can and will wait now until he calls tomorrow and states once again he will drive it to me if he has to but...in the end...

Still another cancellation which leads me to beleive that more will come.

Oh by the way....Reason for cancellation by Support : Unknown...which means it was just kicked out at the build table for some reason again.

Getting drunk...wish all of you better luck tonight.

I´m order with my XPS M1300 a external 160Gb USB HD and a Belkin 2-Outlet Travel Surge Protector. This items arrive to Venezuela next week. What I´m going to do with this things without my notebook? I Don´t understand this people of DELL...

 

How many people know this feeling by now of watching your 'my orders' screen then looking away for a moment only to turn back and see the word cancelled.

Its frustrating...and it always happens at night ...

I just spent 40 minutes on the phone just to have them tell me I called the wrong number and that the department is closed. Will call tomorrow I guess...

I called the order status line and was surprised to find out that my m1330 is in the boxing stage. Now how does that work, where people who ordered in June are still in production (build)?

 

I don't know... we aren't sure at this point. When was the last time you checked?

 

No one knows...and that's the source of the frustration.
