    I'm in Canada, and I'm still getting the "15-day lead time" line on the base/chassis from customer service reps. Since I've not heard anyone else on this forum (or elsewhere) say anything about a chassis backorder, are they just BSing me?

    just called CS for the first time since i ordered, just to make sure the order isn't flagged for any problems, which apparently it isn't. i was told the long processing time is because of LCD shortage, the order will be "expedited" (heh, whatever that means) and i'll be notified of progress by e-mail or phone. more of the same info, really, but just thought i'd add to the statistics.
    m1330, 2.0gh, 2gb ram, red, led w/cam, ordered 7/9, in build since shortly thereafter.

    You know how some companies pay people to go around forums and give good reviews of things to promote their products, it would be cool if someone would pay me to troll forums and stir up posts. :D

    I would be good at that I think. "Looking For: Forum Troll to increase forum traffic, and user interaction with forum. Must be a dick, and cause general feelings of hate, anger, and outrage in other forum members." LOL

    I just called a CSR and she was really nice. I finally got free next day shipping. And she said that for the free bag, I will get a coupon after my m1330 ships. Strangely though, she said that she couldnt tell me the value of the coupon. She said to call once I get the coupon so they can determine how much it will be worth.

    WTF? It should be $150 that's how much the bag is. :p Unless they do not think your laptop will ship for several months and the bags cost would have gone down to $100 by the time you get your system. :)

    No frickin way. I've just had it with Dell. I just checked my order status and it has been cancelled. I just talked to a CSR a half hour ago and got the free next day shipping. What the hell do I do now?

    What a nightmare it is to wait this long already, still have another 3 weeks left, and get cancelled like this.

    it is HARD to get the bag OR the coupon. took me at least three hours of trying (not kidding!) the only reason I got the coupon is because someone lied to me and I nailed them to the wall for it. :D Good luck!

    WTF..... this really makes me boil...

    I tried EVERYTHING I could to get the T7700 here in the US. I was told nope, no way, ain't gonna happen. I even placed an order on small biz when it was up there briefly, only to have it soon cancelled - reason that was given was the T7700...

    Now I see it being shipped to you (and others) according to the above.

    Hey question... If you look at Monkhi's picture (thanks by the way) you will see the intel wireless N card. Wireless N is supposed to be 3 antennas. They've only got two connected to the card with the middle one not connected. Why is this??? it's not hard to run that extra wire. Wonder how this will affect performance.
