Looks like they're trying to get more accurate with the ship dates...

wow arch u ordered yesterday and ur in production........wait u mean build or just in production cause that couold mean pre production too.......haha.....not that it makes a difference apparently........
-
It should make a difference... but I don't know anymore.
-
No new post in 40 minutes..gah..refreshing this page is almost as addicting as checking my order status lol
-
Edit: I'm contemplating on whether I should go up to the T7300 seeing as I practically upgraded to the high-end on everything else. However, I do not want to see my ship date slip any more just for a small bump in specifications... any advice? -

It was a great light-weight, but strong laptop... -
Guys I dont know but my delivery date is on the 27th of July. I just sent an email to dell asking them to send my laptop as early as they can. And he replied me like this:The Notebook was put on a Priolist and will be shipped as soon as
possible...
I still dont understand what does a Priolist means? -
-
rofl monkey
-
sounds like its short for PRIOrityLIST
which could mean one of two things:
1. You were special enough to make the cut for this so called list if it is infact a priority list.....or...
2. Just another way of saying yes you are "special" and to make you feel even more "special" I will tell you its on its way faster even though its really not -
well, good to know anyway that they are sending it earlier anyway. The most imortant thing for me to send it ASAP!!!. haha
-
You live in Deutschland so it should get there earlier than us United States customers.
-
random question...after reading that posted link about how/where someones laptop was made....any idea where all the 1330's are being put together at?
-
-
Horrible...Houston to Austin is 2 hours...maybe I can call in and tell them to build mine over in Austin and just go pick it up, lol
-
-
Would be funny if somehow a MB got shipped in a dell box
-
.
-
-
Interestingly odd....
When I call in and give individual order numbers, two of my orders are in pre-production with shipping dates of 8/13 and 8/23. My other order, the notebook itselt, is in production and is in the build stage and is scheduled for 8/23 shipping date.
When I call in and give my 13 digit purchase id, ALL orders are in the pre-production stage and they ALL have estimated ship dates of 8/14. What the fruit?!?!
Are we being duped by Dell? Maybe they did just shove everyone into "build" just to shut us up. I would imagine that the two order systems would be synchronized. -
-
I still have yet to believe my order is really building.
I'm waiting till' someone tells me theirs is shipped before I believe what I hear from that automated temptress from hell. -
I wouldn't believe shipped either... real pictures with the lappie in ur hands... that's what we need.
-
I cancelled my previous order so that I could make some adjustments to the config of my build. The ship date did not change at all, considering that the previous order was yesterday. When I finished up re-configuring my order and submitted it, the phone status update reported that it is in the "Build" phase. Thats very quick, but it doesn't change the fact that I have to wait two months to get it.
Current ship date: September 6th, 2007 -
Hopefully more people go into BOXING tomorrow... and shipped by the end of the week.
I noticed that our "statuses" (besides being shipped) gets updated every morning. So I (almost) gave up on checking on my order... for now. -
I won't be seeing my laptop for a while yet. Not that I expected to. lol -

1) get lowjack software
2) track your damn 1330 via lowjack
3) watch it slowly progress through the dell assembly line
4) die of anticipation -
We need to track down those SOB's from the INSIDE!
Covert Ops style.. -
I made an order on 7/15 and it turns out it really was two. The standard power cord is a serpeate order. So, today I looked up my customer ID no, and there are six orders under it. 3 laptops and 3 cords. It looks like everyday the order gets re-entered. Anyone else get this?
-
-
just an update for you guys i got the White led backlight display and guess what it has a ship date 3-4 days after my last one 8/13
-
That's awesome.... your ship date is 4 days BEFORE mine.... but that means mine will probably ship earlier
.
-
Thats great news! hopefully thats just one more confirmation that everything is actually in the building process
-
I've cancelled my order 3 times so far and it has taken the web site a day or 2 to update itself. Now on my 4th order, and plan to stick with this config. -
-
Yeah that would be bad, I would want to talk with a high level CSR to make sure your order that you want doesnt get canceled in the confusion

Hmm...new option. What is this "Creative Labs Express Sound Card"? Is that a physical audigy card or something? I wish I had that option because I am not able to use my 5.1 surround sound system with my m1330. I hope the "integrated audigy" isn't all that bad. Hope it is atleast better than my integrated 600m speakers.
-
Well evidently Dell isn't the only computer company who can't get it straight. I ordered a T61 from Lenovo at the end of June and their ESD was the end of August as well. Since I read/learned about the M1330 afterwards, I decided to cancel and wait it out for a lighter/longerlasting laptop, as their ESDs were the same. Well, guess the cancelation didn't go through because I should be expecting my new T61 next week. Grrr. More time on hold = efff computer companies. Hopefully Dell is as poor as ESD as Lenovo is.
-
yup will be cool got the White led backlight for free
-
Nice job BTW. -
Ohh snap!
Copyright infringement son! -

so what happens to the remote if you order the audigy express card, I wonder...
