5 weeks delay announced on the french website for the 1330... It was 3 weeks last week. Getting worse and worse, it will soon be more difficult to find a 1330 than a Wii back to last Xmas!

They dont seem to allocate parts to people who bought them 1st. Just seems to be which laptop gets to the prouction line faster.. Oh and then they realise that there arnt enough parts!
-
still in build stage...
-
-
This is driving me mad, im gonna go and have brunch! -
Okay, so I have been in the "Build Stage" since Monday, what is the longest time people have been in the build stage?
-
Obviously a lie, or they dont have enough parts which is rediculous! -
Well lets "all" pray that mine goes into boxing stage today...don't worry about yourself or anyone else, just me!
-
-
The postman came 2 mins ago and rang the doorbell (Today is my original delivery date) And i saw a parcell in his hand.....
Nope it wasnt for us, it was for nextdoor, neither did it have dell on it
I think im paranoid! -
  I would have almost died if I had been you but then again, your order doesn't show as shipped online or by phone, right?
-
-
...is this thing on? I know all of you M1330 people can't be sleeping.
-
I agree that 5 days sounds about right. -
-
-
-
I would have killed for four weeks, mine was just over 7 weeks.
-
-
I couldn't sleep last night so I decided to come to work at 6 instead of 7:30, that way I had a good hour of playing online and not doing anything else before the boss got here...and I was just told he isn't coming in today!!!
-
-
-
Wow, where did you hear that?
I am thinking of starting a thread but I want only people in the Testing, Boxing or Shipped stage to reply and tell me how long they were in build and when they ordered. -
-
I hope so... I hope it goes into ship today ...
.
-
I think it is so funny that some of us have the automated number and our order number memorized...lol
-
-
-
just talked to my rep..and even tho my ship date is the end of NEXT month, he assured my id have my laptop before the end of this one
-
-
-
but actually the other day i had to replace and LCD and CPU on a del lappy
took less than a half hour for the the whole job..and thats after working on 10 laptops or so in my lifetime
..those dell dudes should be knocking them out in 15 minutes!
then again, they're building from scratch...and then again it all just fits together lol -
You do realize, this thread will probably go over the 200 page mark in the coming week...I wonder if any higher-up Dell people are watching this thread, laughing their ass off at us comparing each others status.
-
i love how many ppl are posting here in the morning
-
The thing with this thread is, that you almost can't sleep, because anytime you are away from this thread and you come back, you have missed 5 pages...
-
-
Good point! I have already called the automated number 3 times in the past 2 hrs and nothing is changing!
-
It's crazy, I finally posted a thread that took off
Anyhow, I ended up with about 300 plus screws to sort out...that was on a 98 gateway solo 2500...I can't believe I can actually remember that.
Unscrew these four, pull, nope
Oh, here's one, unscrew, pull
Ah hah, remove those rubber things, four more, unscrew, pull
ah, there's more hidden in the hard drive,...you get the point. -
My name is Trebuin, and I'm a statusholic.
-
Hello Trebuin!
