I'm also a statusholic, and even an international one, as I'm following threads in english AND french forums, as well as my order status in France. I'm even making my girlfriend translate things from chinese website to know about the other side of the world. Is it serious doctor??
-
Wow, that is pretty bad. I just keep checking this site, dell.com and the automated number.
-
Life will never be the same after it's shipped... I think I should just ask for my order to stay in production for ever. I don't want my life to be empty suddenly
-
Thats funny...I bet all of the major M1330 posters will probably stop posting once they get it and post how great it is.
-
I told ya they're moving! Another person in boxing!
-
Hmmm, it looks like you must have less than 50 posts on NBR for your M1330 to move past build...can a moderate please put my post count at 49? Thanks
(this was only a joke, please do not do this...lol) -
-
Yep, Here's my soon to be post:
HA! It's here, my laptop is better than your's, I just overclocked it and now I'm going to play Super Mario Brothers in HD! I rule, you drool. nener nener boo boo!
Naa, but I probably will get a life again. The military is looking at my work with moving to 64 bit os. Sucks that some of the software is 16 bit. -
-
The Boxing stage is actually pretty funny, I wonder how long it takes? lol Would be some crap if Dell ran out of packing materials once mine reached Boxing...
-
In fact, there is a well known worldwide shortage on scotch tapes. Your laptop is actually in its box, but they cannot close it. Pity, isn't it? You will have to wait a couple of weeks to have it sealed and shipped.
uhuhuh
-
-
I also hear there's a worldwide shortage of blue ink. Dell cannot print their labels until next month.
-
Wow... this thread is growing so fast. When I got online this morning there were already 7 new pages worth of posts on this thread. Pace yourself!
Anyway, I just called the automated order status number and got the usual response that my order is in the build stage. Did anyone who order at or around 7/17 get past the build stage?
I had 3 other orders that I later canceled to change up some parts. First one was made on the 8th, the second was made on the 14th, and the third on the 16th. The current order is the one I want. -
Who needs a stinkin label...I don't!!!
Why does my signature freak you out, kimnicho? lol -
This just came out: there's a worldwide shortage of postal workers. Another week.
-
Well I know one thing, I have a car and there is a local Sony store...hope too many things don't go wrong...lol
-
-
My computer is in the boxing stage and I have next day priority shipping. Any guesses on when I may recieve my laptop?
-
tileman = 8/18
-
-
Don't forget, there is a packing material, scotch tape and postal worker shortage!!! Oh yeah and how can I forget, no blue-ink for the boxes.
-
Sony? Come on, Asus! If Dell is too late, I will go to Asus when the new V1s is released. 2 years warranty, good resolution, great specs for the price. But not Sony, too expensive for what is inside, and I don't want to spend 3 hours removing the bloatware.
Come on Dell, do you want to loose another market share? -
nice! congrats, boxing = getting packed and sent to the US, Id guess sunday or monday
-
Asus? Nah, I'm good. No real good thin-and-lites and I am not really familiar with them. Plus for $2049, you get the T7500, 2GB RAM, Dual GPU, 160GB HDD, LED screen and sexy look!
-
-
the new SZ6 unfortunately has 64mb dedicated video ram vs 128 on the 8400gs.
while sony lets you turn off the 8400 and use the x3100 to save battery. Otherwise I think the price and all the specs are very comparable.... -
-
Asus U3: 2 years warranty, LED, leather palm rest (how can you beat that??), GPS (no comment, Sony, Dell? Anyone?), HDMI, eSata, dual graphics, webcam, fingerprint reader... The Sony looks like an old granny compared to this

13.3". No idea about size and weight, but from the photos it's quite thin, and I can't imagine it will be very heavy.
-
No optical drive.
-
-
Yeah, ugly and has the L7500...yuck!
-
-
If I remember correctly, the 13 inch asus I was looking at had a max of 1.5 gigs of ram compatibility, though I'm sure this is going to change.
-
OMG, 7 posts without talking about the M1330 and delivery delay! We shall all be punished!
-
Hey blahdude, you still around? Let me know if yours is still in the Build Stage.
-
-
-
Well for the 10th time today. "alright I have some important information for you to write down", same crap I have been writing down for days.
-
No we are not punished; That's on the contrary a gift from Michael Dell. Don't you see all the excitement we all have for a product we didn't even touch yet? The wait is much more exciting than the product itself I'm sure! We will soon be nostalgic of this wait, believe me!
-
Thats probably true risbac BUT I WANT MY COMPUTER!!!
-
Yeah Im w/ a2pc...i want my computer! I think ill do a little chatting here w/ a dell rep and see if i can get it upgraded to NBD shipping
-
I will call your rep to make sure you stay as excited during a couple of months. No need to thank me.
