    I have another order in with an estimated ship date of 8/17 and it's been in build for over a week. When the automated system was down, I was connected to a real person who assured me the ship date was overestimated and it would be shipped considerably sooner. Yeah, right, uh huh.

    No, seriously Blahdude, optimism is one thing, misleading ppl is another... Most ppl on this thread are easily convinced of the good things and when they don't come to pass, they feel hurt... And it's not Dell's doing, 'cause Dell did warn everyone that there are delays (well, except maybe non-US customers, for them Dell is the evil)... So, I say, Blahdude, you are messing with very fragile psyche of 1330 would-be owners ;)

    When have I mislead people? I've always said that "I have a feeling..." or "I hope..." or etc. I don't think I've ever mislead people ... I would hate to do that. I thought I was just pure optimism.
