But i have to admit, i start to like it here.
Even when my M1330 gets delivered i'm most likely to stick around, been a long term reader of these forums, just this thread made me register.

 

I'm just impressed at this script software. Usually forum software will mess up on the pagination with long threads like this.

I'm fairly confident that's BS, since I ordered June 26th at around 4PM and mine wont arrive for a week and a half (if that estimate is even right). Its frustrating to hear about people getting their orders rushed because they complain. I need to have mine by a deadline, and if I dont get it because of people complaining because they want to play with it sooner, I'd be annoyed.

 

I can't wait till there are 20 or so people in this thread who all post messages on this thread using the keyboards on their m1330's.

Of course, it is vBulletin Forum Software . The best forum software out there.

And the Dell forum has expanded dramatically with people viewing it.
There's over 350 people viewing this forum as we speak!

Wrong they can only claim profits on equipment that ships because that is when they bill you regardless of when the sale is made. Manufacturing works 24/7 at end of quarter because they want everything to get out the door.

 

hehe i complained plenty of times, didnt seem to do anything for me. my date did not change by a bit. i wonder why you ordered 1 day before me but your shipping is 2 days after mine?

Yea... vBulletin is pretty good but sucks at conversion (unlike phpBB). Unfortunately, free forum software, such as phpBB, sucks in security and pagination and other things.

Patience is the key .

Dell has a weird way of building their orders. It seems like they simply randomly select orders to build and then ship them off for whatever reason. And then the rest is left in the dark.

One thing for sure is that it certainly worked for generating publicity. In fact, because of the long wait, this forum has grew at an amazing speed based on the hype alone of the m1330.

I think that this must be the case. Because if they go purely on first come first serve then people would have gotten their systems in order. I am starting to think they do expedite orders based on some criteria they decide on.

I personally believe this system is a horrid system.
They've given expedited orders to pretty much everyone who is willing to call and complain about it.

And with all the expediting going around, it'd be impossible to get around to ship the orders at the correct ESD.
