    I am not saying the memory is slow or should be 800Mhz. I am just saying that the 800Mhz FSB will probably not show significant speed increases over the 667Mhz FSB that's all. I am actually agreeing with you. :) I am comparing the FSB speeds more than memory speeds.

    The 4mb L2 Cache would only make a significant difference in performance when it comes to hefty CPU Processing.
    Such of these would be Photo Processing, Video Processing and Video Encoding.

    Other than such type of programs, then the 4Mb L2 Cache would not provide a significant boost in performance. And especially in terms of gaming, the doubling of cache would not provide significant, if not any, boost in performance. The only real bottlenecks for gaming performance would be Hard Drive (somewhat...if loading times are important) and GPU.

    But for $75 upgrade...why not :D.

    Man that would be sweet. Its weird, the lady I talked to said it had a 5 day build time, then I said, well on the forums everyone is saying months and she said, well it HAD a longer than normal lead time but didn't say anything but, it has a ship date of 8/29 but she said "that is a computer generated lead time..."

    Got upgraded to overnight shipping.

    However, I am now thinking of canceling my order since I may wait for the new Vaio SZ (here come the bashes). Since I wouldn't be getting mine anyway until Aug, the SZ is expected late July. I can wait another few weeks after waiting this long.
