FWIW: Looks like the annoying BIOS low battery beep will be removed in future 910 Mini BIOS...

 

i work at a machine shop as the network administrator/tool guy/recieving (small business so multiple roles)

My ups guy is use to walking straight to my door and dropping stuff off on a daily basis, he knows when stuff is for me since it says my name instead of the company name.

I ordered my red mini a long time ago and it says it will ship the 5th but says
pre production. I hope it isn't one of those things that you order early, get late.... lol

 

Well the 5th is tomorrow..so I hope you get it, even though it still shows pre-production! lol....I guess alot that just ordered the *red* are like this.

Oh..reminds me of the same thing, when I was waiting on my 1530 last January!

i bet that thing weights atleast half the mini but maybe it will give us the 7-8 hours that the nc10 gets...on another note...

/sigh i almost ALMOST want to buy a studio 15 to replace my 1520...but ive put so much time/money into it. It feels as if no one talks about it anymore and everyone is all about the studio 15's

 

Mine sat in the build stage for a week, then sat in boxing for about three or four days before actually shipping.

there are some awful nice red ones out at the retail stores.
But I love Dell and the white mini I have... my mom loves.

After waiting last night on the phone and thinking it was shipping earlier it appears mine will be shipping on the 18th and not receive until
the 23rd. I guess patience is a virtue Cin.... I'm being punished..lol

 

Yes, patience is usually a virture, except we have all been waiting so long for more color choices in our I9...

Maybe, you should call them back...and ask them to bump you to Next Day Shipping They did this for me when I ordered my 1530, nearly last year! (At no charge).

Mine just arrived by FedEx! I ordered on Thanksgiving and it arrived today. Pretty fast, and I just did the basic free shipping that was offered.

When I first turned it on it went through the XP setup which was kind of slow. I thought it was stuck at one point actually, but it wasnt. So make sure you wait and let it work and wait through all the setup the first time you turn it on.
So far I really like it. My next step is to determine which Dell & Windows bloatware to uninstall. Does anyone have a list or link regarding that?
After that I'm gonna swap in my 2GB RAM card and I should be all set. I'll play with it more later tonight after work.

I'm happy for you.. sad for me as I ordered the 21st and they said it won't be here till after Chistmas.

but cin's is red and was ordered after, the one ordered on the 21st was before colour options

 

How long is the shipping time on these right now, mine said 30 days when ordered but only took about 2 weeks (actually selling it in the NBR Marketplace right now) but I loved the little thing. Will definitely be buying another one after Christmas vacation!

I ordered my I9 in *Cherry Red* on 11/28...expected shipping is 12/10 for delivery on 12/11...Not that I am excited or anything :laugh:

So if all rolls like it should...build/ship time is about 1.5 weeks

Mine is Obsidian Black maybe thats why it shipped faster.
I just swapped in the 2GB card and this thing is pretty peppy now.
I also received my new Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 today and it connected easily to the Bluetooth and works nicely with the Mini.
Everything is working great so far.

Gosh, my red Dell mini is still in production but the shipping date is tomorrow. Hope it does ship that day...perhaps there is a delay??
