    Yeah, I remained calm, although I wanted to flip out. It is not the fault of the poor guy answering the phones. They bounced me around to a couple people trying to find out the reason.

    Finally a guy was able to check and said nothing is on back order they are just running behind because they were waiting for parts and now that those parts came in & the mini's in front of me needed to be assembled.

    I wanted it for Christmas break because I am going to have a week off work, but it looks like that will not happen. He said to check back in Friday and see if anything has changed.

    I am 27 and have little to no patience, this a shortcoming I have seen in myself and I have been working on improving that. I guess Dell has decided they want to offer some assistance also :D

    I am going to wait it out, I already have the case & the memory.

    And for that week off - you can catch up on movies and great food .....or with friends and family :D

    I'm glad you have decided to wait it out...It will be worth it, I'm sure of that! :D ;)

    It's too bad there were these production problems, and keeping parts in stock though! Another thing to think of is that the ESD is usually overprojected. So, maybe perhaps..just maybe it will ship well before the 12/30 date! ;)

    Just try and remain patient! Though, I know that's hard ~ as I try to practice that daily *the art of patience* :D

    And, your right ~ you have your case & memory..so hold out just a bit longer :D

    Yeah, I really like all of what I read online and think it is worth the wait.

    It will give me something to look forward to as well as more time to research the various programs/ubuntu information.

    I hope you get yours soon, can't wait to read the full review!

    It is worth the wait! :D I hope yours is shipped sooner then the revised ESD! ;)

    I just received my sleeve today, from DealExtreme! It's a nice little sleeve for only $4...It's got a really nice feel to it. Simple and dainty to me, is a good thing! :D

    Yes, I'm keeping my hopes up that mine ships this week :D And, yes a nice full review! :D

    I am thinking it just might, the DELL guy was helpful and seemed to have hope it could ship sooner. For it to ship before Christmas would be awesome!

    Yeah..I think this could be fun!! I will have a good sleeve, and then an extra one to mess with putting some fun design on. :D

    It's going to be fun getting the I9...and then making it your *own*
    First task at hand, after looking it over for any flaws, etc...IS removing the Bloatware that Dell gives to you as a *present*!!! ;) :p :D

    Oooh I bought myself a new camera! I have a Sony Cybershot DSCV1..but theres been prob's with the batt' lately.

    So, I purchased a Nikon S550
    Here is a pic of it! (I know off topic of the thread..but it's sweet) :D

    They have turned out nice so far! :D I just received my 4GB Micro SDHC Card in the mail today from newegg...so that will hold some nice shots!
    Red..would be nice for a camera...almost got one, but had to have the blue.

    Can't wait to shoot some pics of my I9 with it :D
