    mine when i call the automated service it doesnt even tell me when it going to be shipped just says its in the build stage and thats all the information that the machine has

    I got an email from Dell this morning. Subject: "Shipped in the nick of time!" I almost died with excitement... Then I read the email and found out it was just stupid ad. What a way to ruin my day.

    I tried one of the other numbers floating around and apparently my laptop is in the Boxing stage. Crossing my fingers that it'll get out sometime this week.

    Yeah boxing stage me too !!! FINALLY after two months to wait for this !! I can't believe it's happening lol.

    My EDD has also been changed to 01/06 but I think I'll have earlier because the boxing stage takes usually 3 to 6 days and I have the Next Business Day shipping method.

    I talked to a guy here in the US that checked my order he said it had been built and was on its way from the factory in Malaysia. I should receive it tuesday or wednesday. Im hoping it ships out on monday.

    Thats exactly what I was thinking. Boxing shouldn't be a "stage" if you ask me. Mine still has an estimated ship date of Jan 7.

    You can check it on the phone. 1-800-283-2210. Then, when it prompts you for more information, punch in 3, then 2, then 1, then 1 again. Then it'll ask for your purchase ID or order number. If it doesn't, then hang up and try again. Sometimes they send you to the wrong automated extension.

    Mine says it will ship the 28th but from what I have been told that is wrong. Im supposed to find out later today that it is for sure going to ship out today or tomorrow. Im guessing they are all on the same plane and they are supposed to arrive at the factory here in the US today.

    I also ordered on 11/27. I was supposed to receive it today, but my new EDD is 12/30. However, over the weekend, I went into the boxing stage, so I am still hoping for a Christmas miracle.

    I know mine has been built and is in the boxing stage. Im really hoping it ships today and I get it tomorrow. My last system replacement shipped at 7 the night before and still came the next day so Im still hoping. The phone order status still says my order will ship the 5th of January. Zengei what are your specs?

    Yeah, I'm sure. It was through a Black Friday deal so the base configuration was slightly different. Actually, besides 4GB base RAM the only other major difference is a 1-year warranty. Price was $1,459 (pre-tax).

    Also, I'm pretty surprised no one else that ordered on 11/27 has yet to ship, especially since everyone was in the boxing stage this weekend as well.

    Tracking info actually is available. It's the Waybill number (= FedEx tracking #) on the invoice.
