You can get a 4200 benchmark to a 5100/5300 with safe overclocking and safe heat levels.

I bought this temp taker thats made to scan your forehead and tell you if you have a fever, im going to use it to take heat levels of my computer at various points. :-D

If you google around some reviews you can find some where someone did what I plan on do, use heat sensors to take temp gauges all around the laptop after stressing it. The highest I seen were some high 90s on the bottom of the laptop

Hey guys, don't You know what Everest is ?! This software will collect all the temperatures for You - CPU,GPU, HDD, RAM. It also allows You to know everything about You system.

Well, just visit www.laptopvideo2go.com. You'll find there newest modded drivers (it means that they'll work on Dell), many o/c records for 8600M GT.

I'm gonna overclock my XPS from 475/700 to 660/900, which is pretty stable and gives this card a kick. There will also be a Zalman ZM-NC2000 Cooling Pad to chill this lappy.

They obviously lied about not being open on saturdays!

I think thats the last stop for the laptop, making it 92 miles away, too far to pick it up tomorrow with the way gas prices are. If I wake up to see it in a facilty 20 minutes away, then well..Im showing up and wanting my laptop, lol.

About 40 miles north of Pittsburgh, PA, and 45 miles east of Youngstown, OH in good ole' Butler, PA.

My local DHL hub thing is in Evans City, PA. I come within 2 miles of it on my way to and from work.

Haha. I live in a very small town. We don't even have mail delivery to the house. If you live in my town, you have to have a PO Box.

I only get my mail once a week..and it pisses the people at the post office off because it all doesnt fit in my box.

They dont allow pickups at most locations anyways, and the ones that do you cant get it past 12.

Ohwell, we'll be posting our first thoughts on monday though. Atleast we arent delayed or still in build!

I forgot to tell y'all, I mirrored my gripe on their forums with some razor-edged comments. So someone in support decided to start making phone calls directly to me advising me of any change in my order's status. Of course, working with a company that has million-dollar contracts helps a lot when one can pull some BIG strings if they get stupid.

Unit's sealed, but will be shipped next day come Monday the 2nd, ETA the next day.

Lucky you. You pull strings? Why not give them a good yanking? Then maybe they'll start listening to you and us customers a little more.

The yanking I had in mind was to get ahold of the board of trustees. It would take a large amount of time for the request to make it up the chain, but would they listen and understand? I don't know.

No, they wouldnt. You're one person, they'll laugh. They dont need you, more than likely they dont even WANT you to be a customer.

One person *****ing wont effect what they show up at that table for, money. A thousand people *****ing wont effect what they show up for.

If you got a 100,000 signature partition demanding better service, priority for delayed orders and a more informative queue then you might get somewhere.

That's the problem with these huge corporations that everyone throws their hard earned cash into. The companies don't even know that you are a customer, and they train the CSRs to read standard scripts to you every time. Even if you put a gun to Michael Dell's head and told him to deliver your laptop, it wouldn't get done before you blew his head off because his company is too large to control. Even the god of Dell can't control his company. He has so many customers that his model of building, testing, and shipping computers one-by-one doesn't allow for a great deal of variation in numbers of orders. The M1530 has proved to be a shining success for Dell, but demonstrates an utter failure in the way Dell has been building lapops. If Michael Dell can turn his company around from failure and back into making a profit, he can definitely fix this problem. I hope he does it soon, because if Dell offers me a good deal after my laptop begins aging, I will consider ordering from him again.

True, but I've mostly heard negative reviews about DHL, although when I had a replacement keyboard shipped by them overnight it did arrive the following morning. Kind of wish I ordered 1-day delivery, but I didn't read any forums so didn't expect this huge delay.

Is your system officially being delayed due to missing parts or it's in the state where it would theoretically ship any day, but for some reason doesn't?

I still fear my package has been lost, two people here who left the same facility at the same times and went further distances have been scanned in at their local facilities but I havent..I hope nothings wrong. The plant it left was 90 miles away from me and it was almost 20 hours ago.

Yeah. I think it might have slipped off the truck and caused a 20 vehicle pile up on the freeway + 1 mortally wounded computer. lol :D I'm sure its rolling its way toward the facility safely on a truck, if it is not at the facility as we speak. Someone at the facility probably needed to get home before scanning, so he/she took off before it was finished. I'm sure it's fine.
