Ah, ok. I did try some teamgroup along time ago. I still have them actually. They are on the R4E. They were pretty big sticks at the time i thought.
The white color would be too easy for me to get dirty.![]()
-
Some of their stuff looks OK and they have some decent quality products. Their Dark modules look fine and they are usually pretty good about identifying (and boasting appropriately) on the modules that use Samsung B-die. Specifically, their Night Hawk modules are really goofy-looking.
White looks really decent when everything is brand new and spotless and you're not used to staring at it every day. I like it as a novelty, but over time I just get sick of looking at it. Where computers are concerned, I'm kind of the same way about other colors, too. Not just white, I just get tired of looking at white a lot faster. White is good for family sedans and appliances. -

Thanks. There is a link to it in his video description and Leeghoofd posted a link to it after I asked.

Yeah, you won't get much HW points with this type of hardware, LOOL It's what it is
And each and every bench will take very long time
But it will get the missing ram stick.

Here from my Media Fire account. Eset scan say it's clean. 2 engines off 69 on Virustotal show this file as suspicious. None of the more known AV software react on it. I downloaded it to my computers a year ago I think.

Not in California! Them cars come in all sorts of colors.

If you are referring to my car, I don't remember if I had the silver Ford Taurus or the white 500 at the time. My wife had an older dark gray Sorento when you were here. We bought her a brand new pearl white Sorento a year ago December.
OK, the new RAM is definitely an improvement. Slower CPU clock and higher physics score. And, I haven't even started tweaking the timings much, so I suspect it will go up even more.
Thank you. -
You're welcome
Btw. BenchMate 0.10.6.7 released today. And Alex hit the nail on the head!
I know there are cheaters out there but have to rely on this software to be able to post valid scores on the bot is still a bad solution. Why on earth do we need this piece of software to be able to sub etc the new Cinebench R23 on the bot? What next? This software doesn't exactly help the benchers get equal/better bench results vs others on older hardware as in the old days (If this SW become mandatory). -

That’s a nice looking 2080Ti sir!!electrosoft, Rage Set and Johnksss like this. -
This is the best way to use MSI Afterburner. Utilizing just the curve editor causes a performance loss. And the card will say it runs at your specified frequency, but the internal clock will run much slower resulting in lower benchmark numbers, or lower performance. You can find out your internal clock by installing “Thermspy” which is an old Nvidia application.
So this is the way around it that I have learned to use MSI AB.
I made this quick video to demonstrate.
You can pull great numbers still but maintain that voltage point you desire. Without confusing the internal clock of the GPU.

So, this isn't related to this thread. But, it's kind of cool. I have been using Plantronics Voyager mobile headsets for years (since the first one was released) and find they are the best overall for people on both ends of the phone call. I've had probably 6 or 8 of them. It seems like most things today, they are making them less durable and designed to fail. Sell, sell, sell... The first few lasted me for more than 2 years of heavy daily use. The last two barely lasted a year before they wouldn't take a proper charge. Resetting is supposed to fix it, but never does. I was getting sick of replacing these so frequently when the only thing wrong with them is a worn out battery.
Well, I figured out how to fix it for $15 instead of spending $100. It was a rather tedious pain in the butt, but totally worth it. Works as good as new. Taking it slow and easy with a razer blade, I managed to separate the housing at the seams without destroying it. I soldered in a new battery and sealed it up again. The replacement battery immediately took a 6-hour charge. While this was tedious task, it was certainly worth every penny of the $15 considering the alternative was to blow another $100 on a replacement that I know would have a worn out battery in about a year.
Now I need to do the one this one replaced. It holds a charge for maybe 30 minutes. Glad I didn't throw it away. It will make a nice spare/backup.

seriously !
I mean did none of the developers play GTA? The game is awesome but. But still, it needs everything on that list lol.
I am a level 30 with I think 49 street cred. I have literally just started manufacturing stuff. I’ve been carrying all this crap around, and I am just now using it.
I just don’t understand why you can’t do wheelies, and how come police don’t actually chase you outside of the imaginary circle around V lol. That same circle that flying bullets and explosions are contained inside of Lol.
I imagine the game will get a lot of changes over the coming months. And these items will work their way in to the game.
Oh well, there’s always the actual GTA 6 which is around the corner I hope. And hopefully the new Bethesda games will come during my life time lol. The new Elder scrolls? and that open world “Outer space game” Bethesda has been working on for years now? I forget the name.
Plenty of awesome stuff coming soon I hope. -

That is an AIDA64 sensor panel. I turn it off for benching because it consumes resources, but I leave it on when I am not benching. I give all of my systems nicknames, much like how people name their boats. Just for fun. (See my signature.)

Ok guys. I finally pulled the trigger on a quality pump. Bought this, and the 120MM mount. I don’t particularly like the RGB ring. But the pump looks sick either way. I can’t use RGB anyways, I have a x299 dark.
Look how massive these pumps are. I found this picture on google of someone holding one.
Anyways, my noisy $19 dollar Chinese amazon water pump is finally getting replaced! The fact that It has held up this long is a miracle.. I am super impressed by it. But it’s so LOUDDDDD AND IT RATTLESSS!

Does anyone know of a reservoir mount that will mount a 50MM reservoir tube and then screw to 120mm fan spacing?
I have such a hard time finding this.
Any ideas?
I am probably gonna have to just run G1/4 to G1/4 fitting and screw the reservoir directly to the pump.lol.
I want something like this.
I have the pump, I have the reservoir. I just want that mount. And I can’t seem to find one like that on Amazon.

Not sure how much that will restrict air flow. Maybe not enough to matter. Hard to say until you try it.
I've seen that type in pictures, but not sure where to buy or what brand. Here is another type of aluminum 50mm reservoir bracket. You would need a cross brace to mount it to a fan, but those are fairly common and easy to find. In fact, they list the fan mount on the same page below the bracket.

Here is a photo with the fan mount bracket.

Dear Customer,
Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. This change was necessary due to several factors and will be effective January 11, 2021. EVGA has worked to reduce and minimize these costs as much as possible.
For those who are currently in the EVGA.com Notify Queue system or Step-Up Queue, EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through April 16th, 2021 if your purchase position is processed before this date.
