Anyone played end game? Ctf is a nice addition but it's funny how foreign of a concept it is to lots of bf3 players

I imagine the "Jet Superiority In A Nutshell" would just be you flying around with a constant tone lock in your ears -__-

 

I LOVE the bikes. THANK YOU! I've been wanting that since day 1. Scatter a bunch of bikes around the map so you don't have to hoof it for ten minutes just to get your head blown off. Instead you can blow up your bike by hitting a small rock (true story).

 

Isn't that the same issue with the jeep and the quad bike

I played a bit with CTF and boy never seen so many people who never played CTF in their childhood.
It was basically 1 sided massacre and people with flags chasing themselves.

As for AS mode, I didn't mind much so far with only 2 matches. I rarely see at least 2 people smart enough to gang on a person.
But the tone is annoying, below radar would be nice to use wasn't for the broken ground mesh that make it look like you hit an invisible wall. and the air radar is totally broken.
A vertical loop is a death sentence cause of the low ceiling cap.

How bad is the air radar? ... The range is really short ... so short that everyone looks like they move at mach 15. The below radar indicator isn't reliable.

 

I expected no team coordination in the jets since we don't have any intelligent communication system. Have yet to try it as I've been enveloped by the Mass Effect series, but I'll give it a go this weekend.

Sad fact: I see no logical reason to put the A-10 Thunderbolt in "Air Superiority," but it's my favorite jet, bar none

 

Either a glitch or hacking, but was playing End Game last night for first time, and any time a specific enemy jet (100 rank mind you) would get near my chopper or jet it would just freeze, then I'd get blown out of the sky because I couldn't move.

Played Air Superiority and it was perhaps the most overhyped part of the game since... well, the game launched. I'm actually surprised I stuck with this game for a little over 300 hours. I kept thinking of BF2 and how DICE could have turned this game around, but I learned my lesson the hard way.

Nice meeting all of you and playing with some. For those that will buy BF4 just remember that it can't be as bad as this last one :/

They really need to change CTF. Make capturing the flag worth 1000 pts, and if you capture it, it gives the entire team 2000 pts and one kill. I mean otherwise everyone just sits around and camps. Make it all about offense and less about defense. It's ridiculous, otherwise everyone camps.

 

Another problem with CTF is that it is possible spawn ... once you stop defending, you're going to lose all of your vehicle assets like in Rush.

 

When I play BF3 I see green roads or terrain.I reinstall drivers and same think.

Oh please. That's not a BF3 medic. He doesn't have enough pockets and is too accurate with his gun

 

Also, we all know that BF3 assault/medic guys spend 110% of their time ninja reviving.

 

Only 110%? What kind of lazy medics do you know? All the medics I know are capable of Kagebushin and instantly revive multiple people while shooting others at the same time. Hence why they're inaccurate . No explanation about the lack of pockets though. I guess the US army never deployed on a caribbean island in the dry season?

 

Yeah, don't u hate it when your caught in a crossfire and die, then a medeic revives you, you die, revived, die, revived die, happens way to much

 

Well, I don't hate it, because I always play medic and ninja revive everyone.

I love my concussion grenade shotgun. Nothing better for concussing everyone and reviving my squad that you just killed. I get like 5 kills a match, 40 deaths and usually number 2 or number 1 in score lol.

You must be playing hardcore servers right? because you can't kill your own teammates in standard.

definitely not, dont you remember how it was when the first people got to like lvl 40 and unlocked the usas before any patches? and then they buffed it in the first patch i think... metro was unplayable

 

back then it was at much higher rate of fire, damage, larger splash, the rounds did damage on direct hits and very easy to figure out dropoff cause it travel so slow.

Now, it's much slower rate of fire, very low damage with delayed splash, fast travel time and direct hits do little to no damage.

^ I can understand there being a minimum arming distance (can't recall if the game employed that), but any sort of explosion at a soldier's feet should be a kill no matter what. I absolutely loathed how it took 2 claymores to kill someone in BF3... Just plain moronic. Not to mention they kept "fixing" the tank's main cannon damage against infantry. There is no walking away from a tank shell at your feet. Just more DICE physics for ya -__-

hello, i'm thinking to upgrade my i7 840qm cpu and i was wondering if switching to a i7 920xm could give a noticeable boost in performance even with a slight (2.4ghz) oc by using throttlestop, any suggestions?

Annd this is why I still play Battlefield 3. After almost 2 years of being released, we get insane vids like these.

 

And this just shows you how ridiculous this game is. 80% ping, 19% luck, 1% skill, well let's not forget the plethora of cheaters still in this game.
