Hey, I have Logitech G700, and I cannot bind any keys to it. I am trying to use crouch and prone, any ideas?

It doesn't natively support that. You can go into the logitech software and bind the button to the key on the board. Example: Bind mouse thumb button to key c. I think you can do that anyways.

Uhh, if PC was the main platform DICE will have hell to pay for not supporting a 5 button mouse. I am hoping something is just busted in the beta build. I have tried assigning two of my mouse buttons which are actually bound to "[, ]" keys, and those wouldn't bind either (what you mentioned above).

    @Kingpinzero

I'm sorry for clogging the forum with this, but I tried to find msg or pm option and cant find it.

Anyway I have some concerns about the driver install procedure, I read your guide and another guide that was stickied that i missed the first time.
And I noticed that when you have switchable GPU sets I need to reinstall the intel driver or at least check for it switching between the gpus as it should, witch is all ok. But how do you test if its switching propperly?
And also you mention in your guide that I have to disable the activation on crysis 2 (witch I have in origin), but not how so I was wondering if this ment anything other than just turning off origin?

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I could play the beta fine the day it came out. But the last couple of days, I have been having a few issues. I join into a came, but I get kicked almost immediately. It either says "lost connection to login server" or "connection has timed out". Is there any way to fix this problem?

Now, I'm starting to hate the beta. Fking lag, campers, level400 snipers, one bullet deaths from the opposite side of the map with a pistol and so on... I don't want to buy it anymore... move on to Rage or back to bf2.

Yeah, I don't think EA is doing themselves any favors by releasing only one buggy map, infantry only, for open beta. I know beta is really for feedback to EA, but when it's an open beta, they also have to appeal to the masses. Curious that there hasn't been another patch yet. Usually there's one every day or so with beta's. And if they will open up another map.

Apparently the build for the Beta is actually a month or two old, so the final game will be more polished. DICE's explanation for why they turned out an outdated beta doesn't really make much sense; they claim that they needed the beta to test the "server backend performance," which I guess means that they don't care about fixing bugs for the final release since they are already far ahead of where the beta is now (hopefully...).

I was beginning to think it was old code. To not patch the game on a daily basis just seemed odd. From other beta's I've been in it seems you could hardly keep up with the patches they were so frequent. I guess it's fine to use it to test their servers. But it doesn't bode well with the public when they don't make it abundantly clear what they're testing for, and users are expecting some fairly polished code.

The beta is dead to me, in a good way.

Giving DICE feedback was my only reason to play the beta, other than that I would leveling up for nothing. I played the console versions as well and gave them a feedback too. Regardless, I hope everyone gets to play this game bug-free at launch. Of course, that's easier said than done.

I don't know how much progress we can expect in a month. I think the build we saw was at least 2 months out from stable, but it was probably also a few weeks old.

It actually makes a lot of sense. Think about it. They can test for bugs inhouse, I'm sure that DICE and EA have quite a large testing group. What they can't simulate inhouse is thousands and thousands of connections to the backend database.

Yes. My CPU is a bit weak to begin with. 1.8GHz with boost to 2.5GHz, but with all four cores, on its own it rarely exceeds 1.8GHz. I can clock it to 2.4GHz with boost to 2.8GHz using K10stat, and helps bump the FPS up by a good 5-6FPS. Smooths things out a bit.

I'm bored too. Got the night scope though which is awesome in the tunnel. Although I am getting so fed up with all the glitches. I can't see how some people managed to get all the way to level 40+. I think I saw someone with a 1 with a silver badge. Is that General or something? I think I'm level 14.

Meh, less than a week left. I was hoping they'd open up Caspian for everyone for a week. Haven't had a chance to play that.

Be warned, the Caspian Border servers are not official, and the DICE could ban your Origin account if you play on unofficial and hacked servers.

Not anymore. The Caspian Border server have been shut down definitely on September 30th.

    See the following news:

Battlelog / Sign in to the Open Beta

Any Caspian Border server you found now is unofficial and hacked. So you risk the account ban.

They should leave this glitch in the real game so you can do this while waiting for the planes to spawn

Every time I play Operation Metro, I rage in like five minutes. You either have a really good team that steamrolls the opposition or you have a really bad team that gets spawn raped. Most games don't even make it to the subway and rarely the last set of MCOM's.
