B. S. A 3650 will NEVER run Crysis on High, I repeat, NEVER!
I have a lower resolution screen than that person, and the most my 3650 will manage is Medium, with a playable FPS. If a GTX 280M, four or five times the power of a 3650, can not run this maxed with a playable framerate, then there is no way it's going to happen with this card.

Hi,
I have lenovo t400s with Intel 4500MHD , 4GB Ram, and 2.5GHz core 2 duo. I know that the graphics card is weak, but was just wondering what games it can run.
thanks -
You can these LOW settings..
F.E.A.R.
World Of Warcraft
Counter Strike Source
The Sims 3
You can also try looking for videos on YouTube.. Type something on the Search Bar like " Intel 4500 ".
Good luck !
-
thanks,
which operating system do you recommend ? I currently have windows7 enterprise, but I am welling to change it if there is a better alternative -
Quick update, I've finally got my hands on Dragon Age Origins and I'm happy to inform that surprisingly, like no other newly developed high end PC game this is by far one of the best optimized. Very high settings, 1600x900(16:9), 8xMSAA, frame buffer effect on and it is more than just playable. Lower down the settings to 1280x720 and 4 samples AA and oh MY GOD! It runs smoother than GRID or Call of Duty(~35 frames). Way to go BioWare! Specs in sig
-
i wouldnt say its the best optimized it just having a core 2 quad helps.
-
How well can I run these games ?
- Trine
- Far Cry
- Mass Effect 2
- Fable : The Lost Chapters
- Tropico 3
- Doom 3
Thanks. -
Better alternative for what? Just stick to W7.
Yeah, not the best but surely is very good optimized.
FC: medium to high
F:TLC: high
T3: max
D3: max -
Wow.. I can't even max Fable and Far Cry ? Man that's bad..
-
You r talking about far cry 1 not 2 right? then you'll be able to max out both of those games. maybe for far cry u might have 2 lower the res but definitely fable u' ll max out
-
hmm i was sure that i saw a mobility 3650 playing crysis on high but i can't seem to find the video now
-
looks like mine has been skipped over so here it is again. Wanna play Divinity 2 at 1900x1200
2.26 C2D
Nvidia 9800GTS
4gb ddr3
thanks./ -
With the CCC config, or Eazy E's config, you can manage a mixture of medium and high, but no where near max.
Sorry if I came off as rude, but I'm just trying to keep the level of misinformation out of the forums. -
Ah, sorry I somehow assumed that you're talking about Far Cry 2. FC you can max, yes. And Fable you can max as well. Man, what's gotten into me...
Close to max settings, if you're talking about desktop, because that is a desktop graphic card. -
What might those configurations entail?
Also- how would Far Cry and Far Cry 2 run ? -
nah its a mobile 9800GTS= desktop 9600gt
-
its ok u actually have the mobility hd 3650 so u should know better than me
-
Not sure about FC and FC2, but the configurations range from Gamer to Insane. Within these categories 3 there are 4 levels - Eg: Gamer Level 3 is kind of like Medium and High. Gamer Level 3 is pretty much High. I am running this on my notebook. Insane Level 4 is off the scale - It will look better than Very High.
That's Eazy E's config that I have just summed up.
Link: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=447929
Note: Eazy E's config works with both Crysis and Crysis Warhead.
From what I have seen of the CCC config, it's pretty much running with High settings.

If you download it, let me know how it goes - there may be some problems that can be fixed. -
You're missing an M for mobile, NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS. Anyway, you can max all, check this...

About medium settings I'd say, at 1280 x 800. Keep off the AA.
-
Well I got it to run but all the lettering looks fuzzed out like old Nintendo 8-bit when you need to blow on the cartridge.
Anyone know why this is the case? -
Screenshot? Try raising the resolution to the maximum possible, scaling my be the cause to the problem. If 1280 x 800 isn't your native resolution, then don't run it at that, run it at native, even if you have to use low settings.
-
If thts the system req, it should run fine at least on med settings
-
My friend is inviting me to try Dragon Age Origins, will it be playable at native res of 1280 x 800 with the ff. specs?:
CPU: AMD Turion X2 Ultra ZM-84 (2.3ghz)
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 3200
RAM: 4gb / win7 32-bit -
Hi new here. I have a laptop and was wondering if I could run The Last Remnant, Mass Effect, Bioshock, Dead Space, and Resident Evil 5.
my specs : Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 2.20 GHz, 4 GB RAM, ATI Mobility 4330 and Windows 7.
Can I run them with Vsync and AA turned off ? If so, in what settings ? -
it will run fine around med settings. if it lags and u wish to keep that res, try to put some settings on low.
-
Hello,
I've ordered the Asus ul30vt-a1, which seems like a fantastic cross between an ultraportable and a full-fledged machine. (Which is quite popular here on these forums, apparently!)
The configuration is:
CPU: 1.3 GHz Intel SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor, has a turbo mode that runs it at 1.7 GHz.
RAM: 4 GB DDR3
GPU: NVidia Geforce 210m
Native resolution: 1366x768
(For the record, it also has Intel integrated graphics.)
There's a few games I'm looking to run on this:
Mass Effect, Dead Space and Prototype at the native resolution with low-medium settings, no AA or AF or anything else fancy.
Dragon Age at the native resolution at medium-high graphics, no AA/AF
Borderlands at low-medium settings at the native resolution, again no AA/AF.
I would like to be able to enable some particle effects in all the above games while keeping most of the other settings at low-medium; I think they add tremendously to the atmosphere.
If these settings won't work, how about at 800x600 at medium-high graphics (for all of the above)? I've played for several years at 640x480, anything higher is plenty for me.
PS: There are some gaming benchmarks of a very similar setup at Tech Report, but I've read different things at different places, so I'd like some advice. Thanks! -
Please help me.
-
Your processor is not very powerful, but your GPU is okay. I think you can run all the games you have mentioned on a decent settings. Prototype is demanding, so it would problaly run on low, with an okay resolution. Same goes to Dragon Age. Boarderlands isn't very demanding - You will problaly run it at medium.
-
Can my computer run Red Faction: Guerilla and Borderlands...at the same time!? lol, jk
Windows 7 x64

Best Foot Forward Notebook Evangelist
I've got the Vaio CW with P7450 @ 2.13GHz and Nvidia 230m which runs CSS superbly and MW2 smoothly. My screen resolution is 1366x768 however, settings are on high for both games. CSS should be fine at 1600x1300, you might want to lower the resolution or some other video settings for MW2 though. By the way, *cue unstoppable train of thought* I got MW2 on Wednesday last week and sent it back on Friday, because it is in my opinion a complete farce on the PC. I think if you're not in the USA, then all PC gamers wanting to play online multiplayer will be sorely disappointed. I have no idea how so many people can continue to play it online. There's lag that varies from annoying to downright game destroying (in the time that I played it, which is around 15 hours clocked online, my average ping must've been above 100ms and even if you're host, everyone else is lagging so what's the point), no map selection, no choosing who to play with, no choice at all basically. I'm really displeased because Modern Warfare 2 is a really fun game, but Infinity Ward have screwed PC gamers over. Sorry for the rant
Your processor is definitely adequate, not sure about the GPU, my old notebook has the X1600 which didn't like running CSS a great deal at 1650x1050, so it might be slightly too optimistic trying to run MW2
