There is a full Legendary Corporate set, there's a video on YT if you want the locations.

Speaking of bikes, anyone know where to find the all-white Apollo? Shames NPCs get all of the dopest colors.

I've been an owner in the real a few times, it bugs me a little bit that the sound is wrong for that reason. It's good though, I'd probably go second best.

@Kevin I'm avoiding the how to get videos for now. This is my clearing play through, I'll probably get to that somewhere toward the end if I still haven't found the goods. Nice to know for sure that it's out there though, thanks!.

For me it's numba one! Just look at it! I will probably even take it to the Claire's race.

(yes, that's me finally attempting photo mode after 150 hours spent in game :D )

Second would be an Arch Nazare I bought for over €$100k.

I'm now 80 hours in and sadness starts to settle in a bit. Once an overwhelming list of things to do, quest log is now a shadow of its former glory, mostly consists of car to buy, knuckle fights, Claire's final race and a main mission...
Damn, this is one of those games which gives you a feeling of emptiness once you finish it, isn't it?

Buy some gorilla arms, I only lost one fight... you'll probably understand which one when you get there. I won every other fight I had including the one with the guy with a funny body part with just the gorilla arms without even focusing on Body or stamina based things. I practically ignored them except for a couple points here and there just get carry weight.

In interesting news, I just found a bug.. I have like 189 normal class frag grenades. I hardly use them so I decided to just disassemble the entire stack. I do that it gives me a load of crafting skill but the grenades still exist.. I can just do it over and over again getting like 800 crafting a pop. I feel crappy doing this but.. WHATEVER I FOUND IT I'M USING IT :)

You play on Normal or Hard?
I feel like fights are very unbalanced, like in TW3, especially on higher difficulties. It takes you like 30 or so hits to KO the opponent, even with gorilla arms, but they can do it in 2 hits...
For twins I had to use an exploit to win, the guy from Fallout 2 village was pretty easy, I'll give him that, but Caesar... Well, just one small mistake dodging and you are toast...

A superior version of Chippin' In :D

Yeah those fights are not easy.. you can go down quick if you don't block properly and use patience. I had to put myself in a demons souls frame of mind to win them. It takes forever but it's doable. Without the gorilla arms I had no hope.

I did some save scumming for the one fight and I got absolutely nowhere on one of them so just gave up and accepted the loss. Maybe on another playthrough I'll torture myself and try to beat it. Or maybe do a build focusing on body.

I also ate food and drink before fights thinking it might give a slight edge with the health and stamina recovery. Still not 100% sure they have any bearing in combat.

I have a perk which restores my health, but it's very slow. I wonder if Skyrim tactic would work - open up an inventory and start shoving food to restore health.

Bought this little nugget. Get in, it's time to invade Arasaka!

Make sure to put appropriate soundtrack while invading Arasaka, i.e. this one:

BTW, kinda disappointed this was not included in the soundtrack, well, not this particular mix...

I don't do them either, don't like driving with a keyboard and I've never liked fighting games. This brings me to another QOL I'd like to see in the coming months: It would be nice if we could hide the quests we have no intention of doing. If you change your mind you can always unhide a quest and go do it but in the meantime they don't clutter up your journal like the fighting quests do in this game. This one didn't bother me at first but over time I've found it pretty annoying to have to sift through the side quests over and over to pick the actual side quests out from what are really mini-games.

Race quest is not a big bother, it's just two entries in quest log IIRC, so not a big issue. Knuckle fights are like five quests.
The biggest clutter source are those vehicle sales. These definitely should be made available to hide or filter out.

That's another alternative that's perfectly acceptable. Those quests are really mini games and putting them down in their own section below the side quests and gigs would be fine; anything that keeps me from having to sort through them. The cars should not be in the journal at all, they're neither quest nor mini-game and should be in their own menu section. This brings up a question: That fact that so many games have little mini-games in them implies enough people like them to make it worth the development effort; how many of you avail yourselves of the various card games, boxing, etc? I never play them. Usually it's just some NPC asking if you want to play game "X" here and there and I don't really notice them as they almost fit in as a mechanic to give NPCs and the world more depth whether you partake or not. In this case here I'm just starting to find it annoying sifting through the side quests to see if there are any new quests among the fights. I'm game for whatever solves the problem.

The only minigame I really enjoyed in recent memory was Gwent in TW3.
Otherwise, unless there are quests, I skip them.

I've been taking the "other" choice every time I've been presented it in this playthrough and it turns out there are a few people that don't have to die that I had thought were doomed to their fate. The overall story arc remains much the same but it's a welcome bit of variety in the game world nevertheless. Doesn't include Judy, that taking the other choice, I've only got one choice when it comes to my Judy. :bigyes:

    That's my favorite car!

I had that perk as well, but I think perhaps the food's buff helps. Not sure.

In further news, I picked up a cheap 21.5" 1080p Asus monitor (75Hz, supports G-Sync) as cheap 2nd monitor for work since it's about all I can fit in the space here. I am having a little bit of a hard time getting over the non-hi-dpi-ness of it and the definitely poorer quality overall than the quite stellar panel in the Gram 17. But the performance is obviously way better for gaming at a lower resolution as well as hooked directly to the eGPU. Overall better experience. I'm using it right now as the sole display and it took me some time to get used to it but it's slowly going well as long as I just don't compare it to the Gram's panel.

It kind of sucks there are no decent monitors unless you go at least 24" and even then the selection is a little meh. 27" gets all the good monitors but that's just too big. It's just temporary productivity increase until I can finally get a vaccine and return to the office. I was getting super tired of not having my mulitple monitor setup from the office...

The market doesn't exist for monitors of that size unfortunately, the only ones that seem to exist are 20" 1080p 60hz "office use" panels which generally have loads of light bleed and terrible colour accuracy.

You can always roll another toon and go about it a different way. Looks like guns blazing or melee might be pretty different for you. I gotta say I did that with my Comrade build and it was very effective but also the least engaging of the builds I tried; go in sopping up bullets with massive armor and one shot everything with your stupendously overpowered revolver. It was fun at first, kinda like being the Terminator in the police station, but one dimensional for sure. This is a clear play ttherough for me, the previous were trying on different builds and seeing how they felt. At this point I'm getting to feel like I've played all the game there is to play so I'll likely set it aside until DLC comes along after I finish this round.

I would like to do a second play, as a street kid, but if I do that I want to wait a few months for patches.

I kinda like my current build, though maybe 20 INT was a tad much. 18 was enough. I could easily kill the enemy even with epic quickhacks.
But overall this build felt pretty balanced for me. Obviously it caters best for stealth, but I would also take out the guns or mantis blades once in a while. QHing is fun and gives a sense of power (I could easily kill group of enemies while just sitting on my bike), but sometimes I just wanted to cause some mayhem.

Next build I will maybe base on reflexes and tech with cool and body as secondary. Would like to give those tech weapons a proper try. Smart guns too. And of course swords. Man, so many possibilities are left to try out!

IDK, and didn't have much problem losing enemy if there were means to do so i.e. jumping high up in a stack of containers.

    As for the ending...
Crap, I can't decide which one to take... I guess I will sleep on it and finish the game tomorrow...

I went all in on stealth assassin build.. used silenced revolver almost the entire game. It's so hard for them to detect me. You just need to pile points in stealth. The part of stealth I ignored from a perk perspective was the knives and poison stuff. My top three skills are Handgun, Cold Blood, Stealth.. I'm working on Crafting now. I'm lvl 49 right now and I'm 20 Reflex, 20 Cool, 17 .Technical, 8 Body, 5 Int. My last attr point is going in Technical so I can craft legendaries.

I will probably go all in on Body stuff with heavy weapons and melee for run #2 and All in on Intelligence for run #3 with hacking and tech weps.

That was my first build too, stealth/silenced. I didn't go into crafting on that one. I did that to the point of no return and decided I wanted to do something similar and go into breach while trying not to use the pistol at all and so I did. That one was close to the point of no return but not quite there when I found the recipe for THE revolver, I couldn't hope to craft it in that play through though because I was too far along to get to 18 in crafting so I made a choice to start number three. That one was all in on guns blazing and sponging bullets. While I put it down a little bit in my post above it was still a very fun build. When you walk into the middle of a group of baddies with a single shot revolver (lets not even think about what a revolver actually is and having only one shot) you really need to be wired tight and make your shots or a loading screen is not far away. Blaze of glory all the way but there is no getting around it was a one trick pony. This one is all in on hacks, I won't be able to put much on my weapons even in the end game.

So that's 4 builds and my gaming mind says I've been there and done that except it's not really true: There is an obvious shotgun build, a melee build with mono or mantis, sniping net runner, etc. Still, I'm starting to feel the burn, that point where you have played a game enough for the time being. Probably pick up with a mono build when some DLC hits.

I just did an ending last night. I was going around doing all the random ncpd stuff then realized they were continually randomly popping up. Have to take a peek at the achievements to see what districts I still have uncleared originals in. There's crafting blueprints in a lot of them I'm noticing.

I crafted my first legendary revolver last night. Wondering if there's any better silencers than the one that gives only 15% damage reduction. I did my first 1M damage on sneaky headshots last night. Was consistently 800K+ each trigger pull. It's almost to the point of absurdist now how I can just pop off silent headshots on them all with impunity.

I used nothing but my revolver against Smasher. He was a joke at this level of optimization even without sneaking. I just kept head shotting him for decent damage

As far as I understand NCPD scanner hustles have finite amount of event, while those marked with blue star on minimap are "radiant" events.
I found a lot of perk and skill shards during those hustles (plus tons of cash), so it's a nice little incentive to do them.

From my observation, these reset after some time in same place:
    upload_2021-1-9_21-53-27.png

    These do not:
    upload_2021-1-9_21-53-43.png

NCPD scanner hustles have a little bit of story behind them which can be read from the gathered shards and the environment(like dumping body into cement or trying to get the money from the debtor), so they look like custom made.

Huh..I could swear I've cleared out the assaults and they reappear.. maybe once I've cleared a specific district they come back in that district? Or I'm crazy.. That's possible..

EDIT: it's definitely true.. I spent time going from gig to gig for the ncpd ones in a specific area and even got some acheivements for clearing all of them.. now I see a bunch of them back in a district of the map that I know that I cleared. I'm going to make a note of the ncpd gig achievements I didn't get yet and focus on those areas and see what happens.

I never found a silencer that went below 15% but the way things go with this game that's not proof they're not there. I noticed that there are some NPCs that can be killed and will then immediately respawn if you just walk down the road a little and come back. I used that to farm a group of netrunners down by the chapel waypoint for hacks. Go there and you will see a near stair, go up it and to the right you'll see a group of net runners, they always spawn there. I just ran past them down an embankment that lies beyond and would take cover behind it and kill them. If they spawned an epic or better I'd go get it, otherwise I'd go down the road a little too get them to spawn and do it again over and over. That's an example that I think you could do anywhere with similar NPCs that immediately respawn. Builds experience too although it's grindy. Best I think when looking for specific drops like hacks.

Welp, good thing I didn't finish the game, as I received another side quest. Oh the joy!!!
Also beat Ozob's ass, this time without any serious consequences for him. Still two fights to go before the final fight.

I just did the final fight of beat the brat last night. It's actually really frustrating and dumb. Not going to spoil anything for anyone but it's a pain in the arse and not even worth it.

The absolute worst things in this game are the freaking detective mode braindance sequences.

I just instantly go to Youtube to find out what needs to be scanned.

I actually enjoyed the cyberpsychos though the killing them was fun just the reward wasn't there.

Ditto. I also enjoyed those missions and their backstory, but the reward was kinda meh.

I just cleaned up all the NCPD gigs in the game, I think where I saw them "coming back" was just some glitch with the map the next time I loaded in they were gone. Didn't really make sense but whatever. I was going to try to buy all the cars until I realized how much money I'd have to grind to do it and decided against it. I think I'm done for now with the game. I'll reinstall it when some DLC and patches are applied later in the year and do another run with a 2nd origin and different build.

Someone on the internets said that you need around 2 mil to buy all vehicles.
I toyed with this idea too, but also decided it was not worth it. It's not particularly hard to grind money in this game (and man, I have wasted so much on crafting materials and cyberware), even wit all missions and gigs completed, but meh, don't see a point in owning all cars, as I ride only two vehicles anyway :D

One thing came to my mind. It would be cool if there were "blacksmiths" in the game. For people who don't have attribute points to craft legendary items, but still want to have them, it would be nice if local gunsmiths could craft you one for a certain amount of eddies.

Older console only, the PC is already there as are the new consoles.

I think cdpr is launching an upgrade for current gen consoles to improve it sometime this year. As with every cdpr game there will surely also be an "enhanced edition" at some point with improvements and changes.

Well, I do hope that after they fix the old consoles mess, CDPR will focus on adding more content. Last play session I spent quite some time just free roaming and I've found so many cool places with absolutely nothing going on there. So many possibilities of interesting quests or just random encounters... I hope they will take advantage of this in the future and release a big big patch.

I wouldn't be shocked if the "next-gen upgrade" brings even improved graphics/optimizations to the PC version.

It's going to be a huge update.
