I never worry about achievements; I just figured I'd burn the eddies up and that was a way to quantify whether there really was a better car in the mix or not. Haven't decided if I'll complete getting them all; I'm close enough to make it feel like I can go the distance but far enough away that I'm not wanting to grind out the eddies. I don't have all that much content left on this side of the point of no return so that's another factor. Speaking of the point of no return I had thought about looping back and doing the endings but I've changed my mind; I think I'm just going to pick one and wait for the DLC to take some of the others. That will be a while down the road, I'm using satellite data on this job site and it's both slow and expensive.

Finished the game. I now have the sads...

Went with Nomad ending, since I played as a Nomad I thought it would be the right choice for my V.
Checked other endings online, and man, they are all downers. That is it with sad protagonist fates. First
    RDR2
    now this.
Kept the body and sent Johnny on his way with Alt. For some reason I think giving away V's body to Johnny maybe would have been a "correct" option, but after all the stuff V went through, I think V deserves some rest, even not for so long. And despite sad projections on V's life, I really liked the Nomad ending, it's very hopeful.
Hopefully there will be some story add-ons, just wish it will be a continuation and not take place during the events of NC.

Liked the calls during credits. Too bad Takemura was a bit salty, even after all the help he got from V. Also very weird call from Peralez. I told him the truth, but during the call he told me about his wife. Guess they are doing something to his head...

I'm getting pretty close myself... About those endings you have to keep in mind it's not over; there are still 3 DLCs and you can clearly see several ways they may be taking this thing no matter what ending you take. But yeah, still sad. :tears:

    I did the
ending where you let Johnny take the wheel. I just wanted to see him get some payback against Smasher even though Johnny is clearly a delusional psychopath. I'll pick a different ending when I get around to another run.

The one with Rogue? I'm tempted to try out the secret ending, want to see if I qualify for it.
But for my main ending I didn't want Johnny to get behind the wheel. Who knew how it would end, wanted V to be there for the end...
Either way Smasher got what he deserved in the end, be it from V or Johnny. The fight wasn't too hard, but then again, I was at level 50, so I guess it's a given. I also didn't want to kill him at first, as I usually don't kill key characters, but I did promise Johnny, so offed the bastard. Only regret was that I used Kerry's revolver instead of Johnny's gun to flatline Smasher.

I'm really itching for a second playthrough, but I got to wait for fixes. Even with huge backlog I still can't get this game out of my head. It's TW3 and RDR2 all over again...

I know that story addons were confirmed, but don't remember hearing about 3of them.
If that's true, oh happy me!

That is what they have previously announced, we'll have to see what reality brings us. I don't think there can be much doubt some content is coming and we know that this game was made with that content in mind from the start so it stands to reason the story arc was developed to play out over the whole. When you look at in in that way all of a sudden the endings we have now seem rather better than they do when taken alone.

@hfm I have to say we seem to have similar tastes in many ways. I played the crap out of all the games on your list, did the same ending in this one, we both went stealth/pistol, etc. I'm going with great minds on that one. :D

Looking at the change log made me a bit disappointed. No QoL stuff, not even a minimap scale adjustment.
IMO, the fixes look like something a 1.07 would have, not 1.1.
But I guess they had to release something, as in the apology video the big cheese said that within 10 days a patch will drop, and people were already getting their pitchforks ready judging by all the angry posts on Reddit waiting for the patch...

I've yet to encounter a game breaking bug on my P775TM and I've put many hours in the game already. HOWEVER, I'm having sound issues (muted/lacking sounds, music) and nothing seems to help. What kind of sound apps, drivers, etc are you guys running?

I've not had issues with the sound other than a music track sometimes getting stock looping over and over. Factory Mediatec drivers.

I think I had a sound looping issue as mentioned that was among many little annoying glitches that were easily fixed by quick save and reload in place. Also had some audio stuttering and low fps in high density areas that was clearly performance issue with my 15W cpu not an audio driver issue.

The only option you have is to make sure your audio drivers are up to date with whatever audio solution your system uses. It's not like there's a bunch of different drivers to choose from aside from versions of releases for your system's specific audio hardware.

Maybe if you have extra software installed on top of the raw drivers or have any of the spatial sound options enabled try disabling them.

So... Saw the Batmobile; the sixties version. It passed going the other way on the road and I tried to turn around and catch it. The game did that thing where it purposefully has all manner of vehicles get in the way and I couldn't catch it. Was going to do a little commandeer action although in hindsight it may not be possible. It was a fun Easter egg regardless.

Saw on another forum a possible solution, put 96KHz PCM or lower in the audio settings.

Hah, I took a break from the Witcher. I'm a completionist and chasing every question mark becomes tiresome after a while. Of course, with Cyberpunk it's just the same but I'm trying to do a more quest-focused run first.

To my shame ive only started now to play the W3 :D. Didnt have time when it launched, life happend, got married, kids :). Played the first 2 thou, but w3 is a masterpiece, looking so good still, graphics are amazing and the world is so lively. I dont know why but im not getting the same vibe with cyberpunk, and i am all in on sf and cyberpunk theme, Deus EX 1 is still one of me favorite games. Maybe i need more time with it, but first need to end W3 :D.

Btw,: we have the same GPU. Whats your framerate in cyberpunk? Ive got with digital foundry settings and Fidelity CAS to around 85% around 60 fps and above. Without CAS its getting under 50 in some parts and the GPU clock its at 1885 with 0,0975

Between 45-60fps on ultra settings, but I've 'only' got the 8700k which makes a difference on 1080p.

I see, yes but not really that different fps wise, looks like this is the max limit for our GTX. Too bad that we cannot use Ray tracing on 1080 like in bf5. Would love to see how it looks wiith it even if it will run with 5 fps

Yep, IMO probably the best motorcycle in the game; not a leader at anything but (comparatively) good at everything. The cool is just extra gravy! I did buy all the vehicles in my last playthrough and this one and the Apollo where the only two motorcycles I used. The Apollo is possibly the slowest in the game and subjectively the least pretty but the handling and braking are excellent. I use it in the middle of town where you have to slam on the brakes and make a hard turn that you couldnt see coming on the mini-map and to dodge heavy traffic. Outside of heavy traffic areas I used this one which doesn't brake quite as well but is much faster. Out of the city I'd rate the coyote as the top dog overall, close to the fastest vehicle in the game with well above average handling. The 911 is a little slower but handles better; the deciding factor being that the coyote bulldozes off the road better than the 911. Out of the city where you go cross country as a short cut that matters. In any event I wouldn't go through the hassle of getting all the cars again, most are not better than what falls in your lap for free. Strictly for the accomplishment would be the only reason to do it. By the time I figured out the cars were mostly generic I only had 5 to go so I went ahead and mopped them up.

Kinda makes me wonder why you can get reflections in puddles only with RTX, while games like The Division 2 and The Outer Worlds do it without RTX...

Brennan Apollo is the absolute best bike for city riding, hands down. It has this awesome power slide that I like to use as an action movie entrance into combat. I come in full speed, try to knock someone over with the butt end slide, then jump off gun blazing.

Cyberpunk 2077 security vulnerability exposed that leaves PCs open to malicious code; CDPR promises a quick turnaround for a fix | today

People have discovered a new issue affecting Cyberpunk 2077, and it is one that could allow the execution of malicious code on your PC. CDPR blames external DLLs and claims that it will fix the problem soon. However, people apparently warned CDPR of the issue before it released Hotfix 1.11. Cyberpunk Engine Tweaks has reputedly already addressed the vulnerability, though.

SMH. That's pathetic, and the blame being on lack of unit testing passes the smell test. Just another casualty of overworked engineers trying to ship the product under stressful conditions.

The shenanigans continue despite their claims of "owning it' in the aftermath of the launch debacle. I was sad over the game launch but had hope they would find their path again. Trust is hard to get as a business and so many would have killed to have CDPRs reputation. Shameful to be giving it up in this way fully knowing you're under a microscope. Especially when they could have just folded it into and as a part of the rushed launch mess which they've already taken their licks for and walked away. An appalling failure of leadership.

That's the sad part... I feel that poor management decisions ended up killing this. They shouldn't have pushed so hard to make the imaginary launch date they set. They shouldn't have set that date to begin with.

I see this in my line of work all too often. Management pushes some completely unreasonable deadline to the customer while us, the engineers and devs keep telling them there's absolutely no way we're making that deadline, yet the PMs just look at their numbers and stick to the date... when it all hits the fan, of course it's our fault.

I dunno, I enjoyed my playtime in it. It wasn't the best game I've ever played by far, but I don't think it was trash. If it was I wouldn't have suffered through 150 hours of it no matter how much I've been yearning for it for 7 years. I have too many other games to play.

For some reason I've been taking my time with Cyberpunk. I've made very little progress over the past weeks, not necessarily playing a lot, but I mostly get distracted and cut my sessions very short.

Having said that, I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that last night I got stuck and resorted to looking online for help. I've really tried hard to stay away from spoilers and figure everything out myself but I just didn't feel like reloading 100 times this time. I'm talking about Oda and his damned swords. It didn't make sense to me as up to this point I could pretty much click away in 1-2 shots anything, but he was thoroughly kicking my cute little butt. Sadly after watching a few videos and tips, he went down extremely easy. Not proud.

Hard to describe what's going on, this game is giving me very conflicting feelings. I'm either having a blast and enjoy the awesome sights and atmosphere or other times I just want to play the main story and be done with it. Can't put my finger on it if it's the game that's not doing something right or there's something wrong with me.

Whether you like it or not is just an opinion, I'd say nothing wrong with you.

With pretty much every new game I play nowadays, I have a walkthrough next to me and use Easy mode. I don't have the time or patience to plod through things any more.

Well... I finished the main story.

I think I got the good ending but I can't help feeling a bit sad and disappointed.

While I like a game that gives you a lot of freedom, I can't just stop playing the main quest just because I know I am supposed to play side missions. I wanted to see how the story unfolds. Suffice to say that I don't like this sort of approach where you finish the story in one way and if you want to keep playing, you essentially have to reload. At least for now, I have no more desire to play the game, and I've missed so much side content... my save shows 30 hours.

Another thing I don't like... fancy main missions which make it clear they are the final mission. I just couldn't enjoy the last mission as much as I did earlier ones when I knew it's not obviously close to the end.

The devs could've done a much better job writing the main mission. They could've made it much longer by integrating quests which ended up in the side bin. They also could've done a much better job to streamline the "keep playing" choice after the main quest is done.

I feel they also messed up the balancing a lot. I played on hard and apart a boss fight, I had absolutely no problems plowing through enemies with minimal points in perks, even stealth wasn't really needed anymore. At one point I just stopped messing with the character screen altogether, ignored all the points, and the game was just fine, I was still mostly overpowered. This is nothing like The Witcher... if I hadn't known, I honestly wouldn't guess these devs have anything to do with that masterpiece.

...at least Judy's happy, so it's not all bad.

Yeah, you quickly become overpowered. I've done multiple playthroughs and by 35 or so I was into God mode with all of them. The contagion build was by far the most overpowered: You can stand outside a building and kill everyone in it without taking a hit point. Think about it; it can be made to jump long range to multiple targets, do crits, cost almost no resources, and apply the massive passive from short circuit which is in itself a one shot kill. Ludicrously overpowered.

So what do you guys play after Cyberpunk? I've been cranky all day and did not feel like firing up anything.

I'm mad at myself for rushing through the main story and now I don't want to play it anymore.
I'm also mad at the game... for the reasons I mentioned above.
    I miss Judy

This is why I usually don't finish games I like. I know it doesn't make sense but I spare myself this...

A bit of this and that like ETS2 and Sniper Elite 4. Also looking forward to get AOE2DE during upcoming Steam Lunar Sale.
There was recently a demo of Immortals Fenyx Rising made available by Ubisoft. Didn't expect much of the game, but it was there to try out and...that game is amazing! Probably the best thing Ubisoft made in years. So I've been playing it since Sunday.

Felt the same way after finishing CP2077. I craved for more, wanted to go back. But for now Immortals keeps my thoughts away from CP2077. I want to wait for some more patches and mods before diving back into CP2077 again.

What you saw was the illusion of freedom, which I think is weighing your sense of disappointment more than the other factors you mentioned. Fire up Observer or the original Deus Ex if you want a cyberpunk palette cleanser.
