I did have the Observer on my short list but after looking at some videos I ditched the idea. Nope, no, not doing it. Not a fan of horror games. I like the ones that make me feel good, not looking for jump scares and such. Especially when I learned that it's the same devs who made Layers of Fear :)

Cyberpunk did give ma a lot of Deus Ex vibes throughout but sadly I had just played all of them very recently.

I was playing Observer: System Redux and I was having a lot of fun with it then I hit a bug and now I can't finish it I'm stuck without a way to complete a quest I think and can't reload a previous save. Trying to recall if I found a way around it or not... huh.. can't recall now. :) It's a really fun game and had great atmosphere. I'd definitely wait a while for them to release more patches to fix quest glitches. I was really into it, well crafted.

Debatable. Considering how amazing it looks, on the graphics and gunplay, I'd say yes, but what counts for me is the overall enjoyment and because of the main story, poor AI and many poor decisions like launching the game mostly unfinished, I have to say no, it wasn't worth it.

I like new Deus Ex games (HR and MD), enjoy "immersion sims" and like the cyberpunk aesthetic, so in my case it was worth it.
But unless people are looking for the above and can handle the bugs I cannot recommend this game at its currents state.

Taking dodge off of WASD double tap will be nice. Sneaking up on someone only to accidentally dash right into their back because the game registered that I quickly tapped W is soooo annoying.

I suppose it's not a final list of changes and there will be more.

I learned to deal with that (was kinda hard on blue switches), but I wish they would finally add a walk key. Currently I have to use a mod.

Yeah, something is off when the city should have been called Fishtail City and you give your cars nicknames like "Crowdkiller."

I'm still playing it. When it's good, it's really immersive, which ironically highlights those parts that are terrible.

For me driving was kinda hit and miss. Some vehicles handle horribly (i.e. nomad V's car), some pretty good and enjoyable (V's car, Porsche, Claire's truck). However, 99% of the game I spent on motorcycles, which for me handled pretty well.

I bought every vehicle in the game just to get the Autojock achievement. Motorcycles, by far, are the best handling for me. I love riding down the road at 150mph, slam on the brakes and make a 90 degree turn.

Painting glitch? I sold what seemed like a million sodas. As I previously posted: Outside of getting to say you did it there was no real benefit and I regret that I arrived at too close to quit before I figured it out. I found the cars fairly generic or to have serious flaws like excessive fishtailing, poor braking, too big, too slow, etc. The Coyote should be on every list if you must buy a car; at or near the top of every metric except for off-road where it's the uncontested leader. Other than that the 911 is free and if you want some muscle car feel, so is the Cali, which can be found in the cave.

Not so clear to me with the bikes. If probably go with the one you find in the hidden quest as best overall. It's on par with the Naz except faster. Not as pretty as the Naz but I'm a function over form type. That ctx3 or whatever it is should be in that conversation but I dislike it's look, function over form has is limits. :)

Use the duplication glitch. Get a few hundred paintings and then sell 5 at a time instead of 1.

Oooorrrr just use the command console and get rich in an instant. At this point does will it make anyone feel differently if you make the money with an in game glitch or just straight up hacking?

    Save yourself the effort.

This is Cyberpunk, morals don't belong here. Haven't you learned anything?

lol .. I'd rather have to work for it a little bit at least. I saw a cheat the other day that allows you to get all the attributes you want. I refuse to use it too. I have 245 hours in the game so far and enjoy playing almost daily. I'll use a bug to get more money but I would get bored if I made it too easy. V is an honorable thief.

I already uninstalled it quite a while ago, I'm going to revisit it with one of the other 2 life paths after some patching has been applied etc. I know they had multiplayer planned, was there any further single player stuff on the docket? I'm guessing either this one is going to get supported long haul or they're going to give up on it after enough fix-up. Hopefully the former I wouldn't mind running through it again with some fresh fixes and new stuff added in.

I get it with perk/attribute points, cheating those would take a lot out of the game. But I don't play RPGs for financial, crafting, or inventory management. I have no qualms with money or crafting material cheats. BUT, I actually haven't even used the console to give myself money yet. I currently have 600K with less than a dozen cars left to buy. I've used the painting glitch a few times just to cover expenses.

The only things I've done with the console are to unlock all crafting recipes, give myself thousands of every crafting component, and added a couple iconic weapons back to my inventory that I accidentally disassemble.

If I needed money I wouldn't hesitate, but I probably won't have to because I have over 100 painting left because I was glitching those before the Cyber Engine console came out.

    Damn right.

Lol I installed it over the weekend to just do some general performance testing for areas where there were some issues after fixing my TIM (this is the second time liquid metal application degraded and caused minor "damage" to the heat sink even though it was not aluminum.. switched to gelid GC extreme) and then uninstalled it lol.. looks like I might need to reinstall tonight and take another post-patch look..

I have to admit the patch notes make great breakfast reading this morning..

I was scrolling through the patch notes while at as doctor's appt this morning, then I realized how tiny the little scroll bar on the page was, and it kept going, and going and going....

Has to be a record for the longest patch notes in gaming history, maybe software history in general.

Sucks they patched out a few exploits haha.

It worked fine for me, though I just reinstalled and it brought in my cloud saves I didn't update the already installed game.

Performance seems a little better for me, but it's still a bit undesirable in heavily dense city areas. My CPU usage is in the high 90% in those cases with GPU usage fairly low. Need more threads or higher than 15W lol.

Why did my Nvidia GPU disappear right after my laptop downloaded the Cyberpunk update? Went to test the game and it was running at 1fps then I realized it was running on integrated graphics. My 2080 is gone from Device Manager and all monitors. Can't install Nvidia drivers. Even reinstalled Windows last night. It's just dead out of nowhere.

I'm not blaming Cyberpunk but it's one hell of a coincidence.

I'm going to have to open the laptop, last resort is to re-seat the GPU and see if that works. Of course this happens when my warranty just ended in February.
