    How come the highest system score is done with an HD2600XT/HD2500XT/HD2900XT (couldnt clearly tell) ? what the heck? lol where are the tri/quad 8800gtx ultras OC'ed lol

    its a HD2900XT. They got a core like that by clocking the Quad core to 5800 MHz and clocking the HD2900XT like crazy using liquid nitrogen. They guys who did it are from Italy. Crazy people

    =/ come on try and keep up. Total price was 2104$ Its 30% faster in actual gaming and that isn't shown in 3dmark 06 so don't ask about it. I'll do a comparison between the two later tonight. The matte screen is very good, there is a very very smal amount of light bleed on the bottom of the screen. The laptop is definately thicker than the P-6831fx. more info to come.

    Snowsurfer, how fast are your WD 250's in raid 0, or don't you have them setup that way? I'm curious because I'm considering doing the same thing. Want to know if spending the money is worth it.

    No I never did the RAID 0 with the WD's, mostly because I didn't want to reinstall the OS, but I have 2 of these 200gb 7200s and I will do the RAID 0. Installing the RAID 0 with the WD's is the way to go price and performance wise I'll see if I can get some charts on that. I didn't pay the retail price on these Hitachi's (barter+trade) which is $170 apiece if I had to I woudn't have done it.

    Hey! I read over all the reviews etc... but you seem to be the only one with hands on experience between both :)

    I read your other post thrice ( yeah im cool, and I can use that word... what now? huh huh huh ?)

    So I got all the info... I just like the little extra squeeze on the oranges (if that sounded wrong, then please give no comments about what you thought I ment)

    Eeeeh thicker... thats the least fav. part :( when I read the technical info etc... it said 1.8 because it increases in the back... BUT the rubber feet on it seem HUMUNGOUS! if thats even a word... So plus rubber feet... im scarred that the back will be 2.3 at most... even so... im talking a half an inch over the gateway...

    The P-6831FX felt pretty thin, it was only 1.5inches... maybe the feet made it 1.8 at most.

    Matte screen very good? yay! How bad are the angles really?

    I will wait for further info :D

    Im confused because that its in 2D and there are 3 axis... X (%) Y(MBps) and... Y2 or Z... but rather Y2(ms) ? lol

    How about some... extensive Crysis :)

    Like... pushing its limits to 25FPS avg on the highest settings you can get with newest drivers and updates and see if you can beat some peoples old 8800m gtx records :)

    The P-6831fx is definitely thinner and its quieter with the fans on max, but the thing is the np5793 can be run on with medium fans and still be in the same heat range. So far max fan speed has not been required to play crysis. Temps get into the mid 70c range with fans on medium. They stay in the low 60c range with fans on max so its up to you.

    Do you have any descriptive ways of telling of thick?

    I am talking about... like... what parts stick out and stuff...

    As in the P-6831FX has 1 inch tick out in the back and the thickness is consistent, the feet are only rubber and .2 inches

    Well yeah... but Supreme commander doesnt require too much GPU such as crysis... Its held back by CPU...

    He could do it :) But I dont think he owns a copy...

    And we all know Crysis is *(@3P@ wayyy 2(#)dmm p9xm better wdj9m8[sf;l and nasd;lk cooler cnas;ldnck;las lk

    about a 1/4th a inch thicker, in the back, but the laptop is balanced out in the front with thicker foot pads.

    I dont even think it has SM1.0 :D

    So crysis, COD4, Bioshock and UT3 are a no no

    Its around 6 pounds, 1 to 1.7 inches thick, feet are .2 inches more
    Extra 12 cell battery sticks out 1 inch under the laptop

    I know you were being sarcastic btw

    I had the cash on hand, but of course BB had something to ruin my day

    Today im going back and if im not getting the laptop or a raincheck im probably going to go get the NP5793

    And whats the point of having a sale if none are in stock?! I will ask how many they started out with on monday, and if they say anything that is a 1 digit number ill be bashing my head against the wall
