What the difference between your (Deagleson) server and the mumble server?

 

Mumble is a voice chat program, similar to Ventrilo or Teamspeak.

 

My Mumble server usually is usually "forever alone" though.
Me and ViciousXUSMC also use Mumble for voice chat in his Let's Play stuff.

I think this will sadly disable ALL other modifications and server wrappers but since im moving soon, i might as well test it out.

The server appears to be down.

 

Seems to be offline, and i cant get a connection to the actual sever console over net either. D;
Cant fix it until i get home on Sunday around 8pm.

The second map is completely gone im afraid. D;

But i got the SSD drive installed and updated.
This time il use a MultiVerse plugin so both maps will be on the same game.
Main one will be a survival mode and the second map will be creative mode, each with separate inventories.

Yes and each dimension will have its own inventory.
The primary world will be survival with focus on building towns and will also encorporate some sort of economy.

The second one will be creative mode for all, but i will disable certain items and blocks to counter griefing.
(No TNT and such.)

I only had a old copy of the first server map.
But i can recreate the map with the awesome levelseed "epicvalley".

Its after midnight here so il continue with the last piece of the puzzle, bukkit permissions and integrating basic plugins into that.

 

Oh wow I really love the enchantment system in the current pre-release. It makes killing mobs and leveling up sooo worthwhile now; there are some ridiculous high-level enchantment item modifiers.

Basically Minecraft players will scale in level based on how high their gear (armor / weapon / tool) enchantments are.

 

Sound allot like how the manage levels in the Monster Hunter series.

Played solo for ~2h last night, could only get 4 diamonds (2 into a sword), need another 3 so I can make a pick to mine obsidian then make an enchantment table.

 

Finally got enough diamonds.

Enchanted my iron armor and got Protection I mod, my pick got Efficiency I mod, and my sword got Knockback I mod.

Pretty cool but I was hoping for better mods, I guess it's because my exp level used on the enchantments are too low.

 

I have not messed with any of that crazy new stuff yet. I'll have to try and get into it at some point.

 

I wont bother setting up a Bukkit multi world server until 1.9 anyways.
Prereleases are way more fun, as long as you keep the servers separate.

 

Could you add chikenugget to the whitelist? I'm not much of a regular on NBR, but I've been looking for a semi-small reliable server.

 

Hey guys. Well, theres been very little activity on the server recently, and I figured I'd try to remedy that a little. Anyone ever heard of Vechs Super Hostile maps? Well, he made a "Race for the Wool" multiplayer map, and I've been dieing to try it out. If we can get enough people together, maybe we could stage a game of it like an event? I can host it. Its designed as a 4v4 map, so 8 people would be great, but we could even play with only 6. Also, we could use Mumble, TeamSpeak, or Skype to communicate, if we like.

 

I just been tweaking on my server, now it has Mumble and Minecraft v1.9 Pre 5.
Mumble doesent have password atm.

i was just on the server... i have 3 people that play minecraft and terraria in my house.... and we all use laptops.. lol

 

Then feel free to use my servers for some cooperative play between you.

Hopped on the terraria server but as a newcomer to the game (woo steam sales and cleared backlogs?) it's not quite ideal... it's on hardmode

Also I'm not sure if it's the server location or the game itself but I get a lot of enemies lagging/teleporting, was this an issue before the patch? The mumble server shows no lag at all and it's on the same server so I don't really think it has to do with the ping at all.

 

Some ***holes inventory hacked their save and spawned a endgame hardmode boss. D;
Il add my own singleplayer save so we can try it out.

 

Just discovered the awesomeness that is Terraria. Is the NBR server still active?

 

I got the Terraria server online, but since its public i sometimes get n00bs who turns the map into hardmode or generally destroys the map. D;
Nothing i really can do about it either since the games give too much power to the client. D;

Being in a different timezone makes it hard to play with the other NBR folks but as long as people use my servers il keep them up.

Too bad Terraria caps at 8 players.

What kind of server are you trying to connect?
The password for Terraria is case sensitive btw.

I remote connected to my Server console and Minecraft, Terraria and Mumble is running.

 

You wouldn't happen to have a backup of the world from a day or 2 ago would you deagle? Seems that someone (probably from here sadly?) pushed the server into hardmode.... this isn't really the problem, ktulu and I were going to do that anyways last night, but we were in the middle of building a corruption barrier. We didn't finish and now the world is corrupt all over, fairly close to the spawn too (due to incomplete barrier) so it isn't safe for newer players.

If you insist on pushing the terraria server into hardmode guys at least help build a barrier between 500-1000 ft away from spawn on each side. It only needs to be 3 or 4 blocks wide and will stop all corruption and hallow infection. All you have to do to build a barrier is use bombs or pickaxes to carve out a very long shaft at least 3 blocks wide (almost hellevator length) on each side of the spawn, and then build a 3 block wide x 10 brick high barrier on the edge of the shaft entrance/exit. This way new players spawn into the default green zone and the rest of the world can be whatever.

 

Im sorry but i do not have a backup of the map. D;
I will however remake a new one and transfer all the items stored over.
Damn shame that its not possible to disable stuff like this.

Edit: I just did some copy paste moving the old spawn into a larger new world.
