I just went back in and it worked for a few minutes then took rights away again.

I exited game then came back and can't build again. I'll hang out in game for a bit if you can try again. Maybe lost it once I exited.

 

I don't know why the command is not sticking. It should be server dependent, not user dependent.

 

Didn't it upgrade to Zmod? It was when I was on.

 

It is on ZMod.

 

LOL, as soon as you logged out I lost my build rights. Oh well.

Thanks for the heads up, heh. I think I know where it spawned. I'll light up that area like the fourth of July when I get my building rights back.

There is no one right now, so if you need to take down the server to fix it, go ahead. I was on with Vicious long enough for everyone to play for the night I think.

 

I like zmod, it seems to be the best set of commands we have had yet.

Lets stick with this one so I can get used to one set!

 

I can shut down the server remotely, but since im at work i cannot fix it. D:
It can take up to 6 to 7 hours before im done with work.

 

I think things were sorted for now.

Zmod has a shrine system, works much like our old warp system.

a OP can designate an area a "shrine" and then a player can use /shrine to warp to that location.

Each shrine gets a name, so Deagle Islands shrine name is "deagle" so to warp to Deagle Island you simply type /shrine deagle

I am going to work on a better shrine design when I get off work and go put a shrine in old spawn & new spawn.

We will get these names & commands posted in the first post when I have it all organized. Rail works great as of now but for those in a rush

Zmod lets me spawn more than just items too, like mobs.

I accidentally killed Star Forges wolf so I spawned like 6 more for him to make up, then he attacked one of them and they all went psycho and killed us both, they do insane damage! I ended up spawning all the way back @ Viking Kingdom so that was my motivation to get these shrines set up.


Edit: Just got home and OMG 1.6.6... hope it didnt break anything we finally had it all in good order.

Decided I am taking requests for pictures (paintings) send me the image (as high of a resolution as possible) and I will mod it into my texture pack as one of the paintings so that it can be seen by anybody that uses the texture pack.

I can also give you the painting file only so you can add it to your game without using the texture pack incase you do not like it (but I think its really good I hate standard now)

 

Wow, lots of work went on overnight. How do you create a lava or water waterfall like Vicious has? Looks like build rights still broken?

Man this is a LOT of work building up this stupid pyramid structure. So much more to do. Hanging torches outside the inverted pyramid is a major pain in the butt, building scaffolding on the go. I need a jetpack, lol.

 

Yeah unfortunately there is no "noclip" command in this game. Building cool stuff is a pain. Let me know if you need massive scaffolding materials, I can happily spawn you like glass or dirt for massive scaffolding ordeals.

 

Theres a fly mod though Never got to test it but i assume it makes building things easier

 

I think I have too much minecraft on the brain.

When I finally fell asleep today I had a dream like was a lot like Last Action Hero except not PG13 rated. But the strangest part of the dream was the entire thing was blocks like minecraft with really low res textures.

 

Yeah, lol. I was driving back from my mom's house today (100 mile one way), and I completely missed my exit to go home because i was thinking minecraft. I started envisioning the world as blocks, and how I was going to build my sphere. It's not turning out as well as I'd hoped, but too late to turn back now, lol. I'm not doing it again.

The next thing they need to add to the game is motion, like cars and airplanes. Even elevators would be nice.

 

Use this circle guide; it will help you place your blocks properly for any sized circle up to 45 blocks in diameter.

Whoa, thanks man. +1 to Gabɘn. Maybe I'll start over. Time to shovel more sand. Anyone have any more coal they can throw my way? But after Vicious instantly blinked and made a glass sphere to show me what it would look like I felt like I should just have him cheat for me and leave it there. If even possible?

Edit: My own circle guide looks similar at the center section you have. A little off, but in the end not sure if it will matter. I think I'll just live with what I've got.

Also, I tried to make fire but it says my rank isn't high enough? How can I get that rank to make fire? Lol.

 

zMod disables fire by default for all lowest rank players.
Just ask a Mod to do /promote HTWingNut, and you should be able to.

 

Im not giving that guy fire, he will burn down everything!

Ok, so who's the clown that removed the glass blocks just outside the portal at "new" spawn? I went down to the nethers, and came back and stepped out of the portal only to fall into the lava pit just outside of it. Has that always been there? Lost everything I had.

 

I was in a meeting, but next time you see me on I will help you get back what you had. Try to list what you lost.

 

Thanks. Not a huge deal. Just stuff I took in there with me, which was stupid, because I actually just went in there then came back out because I thought I better store my stuff I didn't need with me. About 128 glass blocks, two flint and steel for fire, and a couple iron axes. Nothing substantial. Flint and steel would be good because I had a hard time finding flint for some reason. But then poof, I come back out and fall into the lava. lol.

But since you don't trust me with fire.

 

Il fix the area around that portal.
I guess its kinda broke from before the creeper nerf.

 

An easy way to get flint is to just grab a few gravel blocks, place them on the ground, and keep destroying them (with a shovel or your hands, doesn't matter). There's about a 10% chance destroying gravel will give you flint instead of gravel. Just keep doing that until you've used up all the gravel.

 

I've mined a ton of gravel and only ended up with two flint.

 

Like I say, it's a 10% chance. That doesn't mean you will always get one flint for every 10 gravel you mine.

If you take a certain amount of gravel blocks and keep repeatedly placing and destroying them, you will eventually get flint from all of them. E.g. if you place 10 gravel blocks on the ground and destroy them all, you might get back 9 gravel and one flint. Keep doing this, and eventually you'll end up with 10 flint and no more gravel to place.

 

Thats a pretty ingeniuos idea. Have to try.

 

Nevermind, thanks Mastershroom. Worked. Had to work it like six or seven times but both blocks gave up some flint. LOL. Must be a random event. Except for all the glass blocks I had, I'm good. If I have to recreate those, then so be it. Now to find a good place for some coal.

 

You might luck into some coal on that mining site I set up with the ladders on the other island.

 

Wait, creepers don't blow up tiles anymore? I love whatever mod that does this.
