FEAR 2: Project Origin 50% Off
http://store.steampowered.com/app/16450/ -
Guys, sorry for not updating this for the last few weeks. I wasn't on NBR much because I was busy with other things. I'll be sure to update this thread later on today.
-
OT
Why must we put up with the bogus Age verification screens? LOL, does anyone ever give their real age? Mastercard/Visa for kiddies? -
Purchased the DLC for FEAR with the discount this weekend. I bought F2 the day it came out. Liked it... It was nowhere near as good as the original, but it was still pretty good.
Hopefully the DLC will be good. Won't know till my G71 comes in. -
-
I was thinking about getting FEAR 2 on steam, then when I was working at Target today I got it on clearance for 9 bucks!
-
Oh la la. I hope F.E.A.R 2 is still available. I'm very excited to try it out.
-
Left 4 Dead - Half price (50% off).
-
Nice, thanks for the heads up.
Maybe I can convince some of my friends to pick it up now. -
Meh...15 bucks...Good price...Damn with all these deals...I could just save up and buy COD WAW...But the deals are just so good!

Can you play this game with people who own l4d on 360?

Updated (finally) with L4D deal and others. L4D is 50% off until Friday this week. It's a great game but if you don't have it, I suggest waiting for L4D2. It's not really worth buying at this point anymore with L4D2 coming up later this year.
-
Hey but L4D 2 have a chance of sucking and those that buy L4D now can wait till the price of L4D 2 to drop. L4D have given me over 1000 hrs of gameplay!!
-
Is L4D still worth picking up with the new one coming in 2 months?
-
ViciousXUSMC Master Viking NBR Reviewer
I guess I agree, the game got old fast but for $15 the cost of 2 movie tickets to hold you over for 2 hours, L4D you can easily get a solid 2 months gameplay out of it for the same price.
Infact I think thats the best way to play L4D, hard & fast as it was so good at first but got boring fast for me. So get in now and play it while its fun and before the customer base splits in half with some going to the new game. -
-
L4D for $15? That's ALMOST at the price I'm willing to pay for it.
-
Empire Total War is now half off. Is that game worth picking up and playing??
-
Just purchased and downloading now! -
I am still thinking about picking it up....
I played the demo, but I didn't think it had enough depth to give you a good idea what the game would be like on a whole.
.... still thinking.... (ouch, that hurts!)
-
Well, now the Hitman series (3 of them) is on sale for $9.99
Is this worth it? I've never played those games if it matters. -
-
-
Thanks. I, however, decided to go with World in Conflict Gold for some reason.
Anyway, what are some awesome THQ games to look forward to? Steam is having a "THQ Week" where some THQ game is 50% for the day. Today is Titan Quest Gold Edition: Titan Quest & Immortal Throne for $9.99.
They should have an Activision or EA week. -
-
-
Steam's "THQ Week" Tuesday Special: 50% off all Company of Heroes Titles.
Wowza! $30 USD ($31 CAD hahah) for COH + 2 Expansions: i'm buying as soon as I get home from work! ...I know I might have just missed a deal on COH titles on D2D, so i'm not passing up on this one! -
Updated with lots of deals - see first post for more info.
-
Thanks for the update. What do you all think, Civ4 deal worth getting?
-
If you really like fast-paced games though, Civ4 may not be for you. It's pretty slow-going. That being said, I play mostly FPS games, but I still really like Civ4. -
Would you or anyone else care to comment on multiplayer and matchmaking? Poor matchmaking/no one playing online is always somewhat a concern when purchasing a game that has been out for a couple of years. -
50% off on all Dawn of War games today.
-
The 50% off Dawn of War games was for Wednesday...Today is Thursday now and they still have not changed the deal...I wonder what is taking them so long?
-
-
Ohh...Your right...But, there is suppose to be a Thursday deal...I wonder where it is?
-
-
Combined with the fact that I still have a lot of Rome: Total War to play from Steam's sale on it in January, and that I don't have a 4870, and that deal was easy enough to pass on for me.
The The Civ4 Complete Edition deal for $20 is mighty tempting, though. Too bad the Steam version inherently comes with more DRM than the DRM-free retail version - otherwise I'd almost certainly pick it up (I <3 Civ3). -
Red Faction games 25% off.... booo Steam
-
All Half Life games 55.8% off, in honor of Gordan Freeman winning.
-
Updated! (finally) Sorry it's been so long since I've worked on this. I added a bunch of deals and changed the formatting slightly.
Mass Effect is 50% off this weekend. Only $9.99
It's a fantastic game and if you haven't played it yet, now is the time. -
So now Crysis Warhead + Crysis are at $30 total until Monday.
Now if it were $15 I would buy it. -
Bought Mass Effect last Friday because I wanted to try a Bioware game before I buy DA:O, and although I thought it was sort of a tough and somewhat unappealing start, I've found that I really really like this game =D
-
and now there are specials on Crysis and Crysis:Warhead for $15 each =D
downloading Crysis right now -
Yeah, I see they have Cryisis + Warhead weekend deal, but doesn't sound that great, I've seen the Maximum Edition for $30 in stores. But I already own both of them anyways.
-
Forget the Crysis offer. The entire Overlord series is for less than 10 bucks. That's 3 games for 8.75. Well, two games and an expansion. But still very cool.
-
The Overlord Complete Pack 75% Off - $8.75
Overlord
Overlord: Raising Hell
Overlord II
Great deal! -
