Although not a remake as such, there is a 'Ultra High Quality Mod' available, which adds graphics improvements, including:

I bought Deus Ex a year ago but never got around to finishing it, just played maybe an hour's worth... was a bit spoiled by the dated feel, but I really should play this.. haha. Like the image above I might just reinstall it since I got it on steam.

not that i tried any of these games but i heard lots of good things about Batman and Just Cause is technically free since Batman is 24$ on sale but the bundle 22$

batman was the best action game of 2009 imho.
the 22usd is worth it even for batman alone.

Not sure about Just Cause, but Batman was an extremely fun game, with high replay value.

If you haven't picked it up yet, I would take this opportunity to do so. Was a really fun game.

Apparently Just Cause is -$2, since the package is cheaper than standalone Batman. Oh well. I save money, and I get a gratuitous extra game.

 

Almost like Valve said, if you take Just Cause for free, we'll give you 2 dollars off Batman.

recently bought battlefield bad company 2, the Batman and just cause 2 bundle, and DoW2:chaos rising. now to just finish bioshock and bioshock 2. got lots of gaming to do.

 

just cause is probably there to promote just cause 2.

 

dow 2 gold edition (original dow 2 and chaos rising expansion) on sale on steam for 39.99usd.

good deal for game and expansion combined

 

wow good deal IMO for DOW2. Too bad I never gave DOW2 enough patience and time..

 

The original DoW anthology is going for USD19.99. Would have gotten it if I hadn't have to rebuy L4D2.

Sniper Elite is a fun game, I enjoyed it, defintely worth the $2 for sure. I snagged it the last time it was on sale.

That's the 33% reduced price for me. It's still $50 originally. I played the beta and didn't care for it. I was really hyped for this game and then was really disappointed. Not nearly as good as they promised.

 

It didn't interest me in the first place to be honest.

Anybody have the new AvP? I really liked the original but dont hear as many great things about the new one.

not sure what its like on PC but i haven enjoyed AvP on my PS3, controls are a bit annoying for the Predator and the Aliens but still a good game

 

How's the single player campaign ? I'm considering it since episodes from liberty been delayed for another 2 weeks or so ...

 

i have completed the Aliens one, i like how some of the places are the same throughout and it has 1 basic story in which all of the species are all connected so if you complete one it will drive you on to discover the full story, i would give the SP a 8.5/10, its a bit on the shorter side and the aliens and predator games aint as scary as the marines one, though i jumped a few times as Predator but none at all on Aliens even though i enjoyed it

yeah the stealth kills are cool, havent done any as the Marine yet, dam hard getting close enough but the Alien and Predator can be quite easy to stealth kill

but i makes 2 quid. otherwise it would be just me being helpful!!!! and thats not right.... anyways on paypal it gives 1.48 dollars to pound paying from pounds to dollars, so other way round i reckon 1.54 which makes 26 dollars, i only get 2 pounds for the hassle but someone gets the game 5 dollars cheaper. win win
