I checked a few reviews both user and commercial before purchase and it always scored high, usually 8+ or more. It also looks good and has a lot of great Mods too.

check out torchleech it's like a database for mods, just google. Also there's a demo out for those on the fence.

 

Torchlight is awesome game.

You all realize Torchlight is from the original Diablo 1 and 2 developers right? Diablo 3 as far as I know has none of Diablo 2 developers, they all left Blizzard.

Torchlight even has music from the original Diablo 2 composer!

Tochlight is a single player game, a prequel you could say to the upcoming online game. They are planning to create an MMO based on the Torchlight story.

 

I plan to play through Torchlight in its original format before playing with any Mods though. In my opinion it is the best way to truly appreciate the game.

If only they had Quake 4...

 

Just last night I was looking through my old instruction manuals and such and missing my old Quake games. I never actually bought Q1 or Q3. $15, it's worth every penny.

 

yeah, i agree, kind of misleading in the "all quake games" on Steam when 4 isn't included. I understand it's different than the other ID games, but still, misleading!

 

any Quake games have a decent single player?

 

They're primarily multiplayer games, but you can go to town on some bots.

 

Quake 3 is purely multiplayer. Quake 1 and 2 both have a story mode that you can play through. It's actually pretty fun IIRC. It's been years since I played though the first two, though

They need to reduce the DLC to 50% off also then that would be nice. Paying full price for the DLC you basically buy the game all over again.

I just got Borderlands for £14.99, installed and maxed out all settings at native at 60 fps. I love the cell shaded look of the gameworld. I heard there are only one hundred thousand different types of gun in the game though.

 

TBH there are ONLY a FEW different guns in the game.

You will notice majority of the assault rifles look the same. 2 designs, one without a scope which is allows for long constant fire. There is the one with a scope, with the ammo cartridge coming on the left side and with short bursts. They came usually in gray, green or red for both. They may have elemental damage of spark, explosive, acid and fire.
- Yeah, in reality only 2 guns with varying damages and elemental damages. I was dissappointed with this.
- I was expecting 1000 different assault rifles with all sorts of designs, some based on real like maybe a M16, M4A, a SCAR or whatever and some fake designs.

 

Is anyone still doing a four pack? I REALLY WANT TO BUY a copy before the deal ends.
