Why don't you just activate it through steam? You don't need to use the disc then to play.

 

It's not a Valve game. It can't be linked to Steam.

Well, eh. Might as well ask then. I have already installed retail Borderlands onto my PC, with an account and patches and everything. If I were to <strike>succumb to Spaghetti's mind control</strike> buy Borderlands from Steam, could I sell my retail copy and not have the buyer come back to me with claims that it's already been activated.

Yeah, I'm basically a Steam only person. Sue me.

 

Retail version would sell on fine. Only problem is Borderlands isn't on sale anymore on steam.

It should be. Generally the free weekends are the full game, just time limited to the free playtime.

 

yeah makes it easier for one to say welp I'll go ahead and buy it, already got it downloaded =)

oh well I had my short fun with it.. def could've spent that money better elsewhere

 

For what it's worth, the MW 2 folder that I just pre-loaded is 3.87GB.

 

Gonna try the PC version out. Already have it for xbox 360.

 

Yeah its not the full download. Its just multiplayer i think.

 

all i have heard from CoD MW2 multiplayer is autoaim bots and serverfails and hacking and general annoyances.... not sure if i am goin to try or not. any opinions on the multi?

 

@cheese - There are cheats on both 360 and PC. It's unfortunate but true. This ruins the whole MP aspect of the game. Alas, why I dont even bother to play anymore. Seriously.. each game is some kid screaming to get his NUKE. Then toobers. It's like the developers dont even listen to those who are playing it. My advice... Battlefield Bad Company 2. I have it for 360 (cough sorry cough). It is outstanding!

what kind of game is deus ex?
is it just fps like half life?

 

it's an fps but very different from hl. goty all years.

left 4 dead 2 is discounted at £13.39.

 

It's a very unique FPS, one of the first to have a changing story depending on player actions, as well as having a pseudo-RPG experience system with various weapons and such.

Cod4 on PC, as the person above me quite rightly said is 2nd on Xfire's most played list, due to it being superior in every way

Call of duty 2 gets more than Cod6, thats how much of a fail it is. Infact 2X as many minutes on xfire. and Cod4 is played 3X more.

 

activision is truely mad. 5 maps for £12? kotick can shove it.
