SEGA WEEK! WOOO! (?)
not gona get anything from it but it looks like some sweet deals coming, especially the full sega pack, in UK individual price of like £250, selling for £49.99
can't be bad -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
Very tempted to jump on the Sega Deal, with Empire Total War, Medieval II, Medieval II : Kingdoms, Rome : Alexander and Rome Total war gold all that for £13.60 - very very tempted!
or the whole package - £50 for ALOT of games. 1 question i already have FM2010 could i like trade it with someone else? like send it to them as a gift on its own and they just either give me like £10 or something via Paypal or maybe a different cheapish game -
that's the one thing i don't like about steam.
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
its a really good deal, but FM10 would be wasted -
on another note, steam have ingame-usable strategy guides for some games out now and at half price
i assume you won't be buying though, we iz not console noobs. GUYS WHO GOT PRIDE DON'T RELY ON NO GUIDE -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
Yeah i saw them, i dont see the point of buying a game and then buying a guide to help you complete it

i just though i would let you guys know just in case anyone was wondering on buying sega all stars racing game. firstly the game is real fun and a well rounded racer. it copies mario cart but that is a real good thing here
. anyway what you should know though is that the game has no online multiplayer. sega drank too much funny juice i guess and took it out of the pc version. it does have splitscreen multiplayer for up to four players ( i found that odd for a pc game lol)
-
Anyone getting the sega complete pack for only 89USD?
Personally, i find that its a steal! For over 20+ games, i find that it is worth a single bit of every penny i have.
So many games which i am interested in like AVP, the whole total war series, football manager and the RTS games. -
fear and it's expansions is now available. looks like sierra sold it to WB.
-
I had a copy in my house...one of the CD's was busted so couldn't install, plus I get the expansions so its a win/win.
Now i'll do like I did when I first bought it, play in the dark with headphones on have the crap scared out of me at regular intervals. -
Pls...NO ONE get the Grey's Anatomy game. I made the mistake of getting it for a friend off the shelf (retail) without checking reviews. Big mistake. A metacritic score of 36/100 is charity.
If Ubisoft paid you $5 to play the game, you'd still be getting ripped off! I kid you not. Paying $29.99 for this is ridiculous.
All IMHO and my $0.02.

Wow, to think I probably should have just waiting till now to pick up the gold edition lol...
Also, just noticed this new deal! Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Elite Echelon Edition for $45.99! Originally $94.96! Comes with Conviction and the three other latest splinter cell games. Might have to jump on this too. -
yep-splinter cell--even if conviction is short and some would say disappointing--getting the lot for $45.99 should result in much time killing. i am downloading now.

Why not just pay via Paypal then? Region restriction issues?
-
-
I loved Convictions, but the damn thing was SO short. But I will admit, you get a LOT of play time with the Deniable Ops. -
-

I've been almost non-existent the past month, sorry. I added the current deals to the first post.
-
yeap $10 was just to good a price, i need new games like a hole in the head, damn steam for its deals but Supreme Commander 2 is also added to my 'to play later list'
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
i was pissed when i missed out on one of the pack deals, cant remember what it was but it had FM10, the whole TW : Empires games and quite a few others for like £50odd!
-
Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition is 50% off until Thursday (Original: $39.99, on sale for $19.99).
I think I'll jump on this one. It's on my "list" -
Bethesda Weekend sales!!
Fallout 3: GOTY - $24.99 (50% off)
Oblivion Goty: $8.50 (66% off)
Morrowind Goty: $5 (75% off)
awesome deals, FO3 IMO is a bit high still for a two year old game, would bite at $15 since it's not a title I would play ASAP, but still a great deal.
Oblivion is just a terrific game in itself, beaten on 360, I would love to have it on Steam though, plus never did Shimmering Isles -
-
I highly recommend Oblivion at that price. Excellent game.
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
very nice price for Oblivion, is it the GoTE edition?
-
Yes. It has everything.

I haven't used steam before. I'm currently on a mac, but I'm getting a new laptop for gaming / college this summer. Would I be able to buy a game on steam now, and just not download it or anything, and have it to download later once I get my laptop? I was planning on getting oblivion anyways, and thats an insane price.
-
Yes you can purchase now on your steam account, make one if you don't have one yet, and then install at any later date, on any computer.
-
Thanks. Going to do that now then ^_^ I love oblivion, but I've only played it on 360, and I personally hate the controls with it.
-
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
very good deal for one of the best games value wise, the amount of mods you can get it endless!
i have to admit i am tempted to get this again, had it on console, got it on PC before i re-installed my OS only to find out that i lost the disc and serial -
as for Oblivion GOTY, once I get my paycheck tomorrow, I feel it's a no brainer. Beaten already but never went through with mods as I played on 360... with all the DLC included with SI, I think I could have some fun with this. -
ArmageddonAsh Mangekyo Sharingan
at only £6.80 Oblivion is calling me again!
-

People went pretty nuts over hats, you can't underestimate some of the tf2 players.
-
There is already some major hating going on in the TF2 Steam forums over Mac players getting Earbuds. This whole thing is identical to the Dr. Seuss "Sneeches" book.
-
I'm fairly new to steam. Where do I download TF2 to play it for free this weekend?
-
OMG, Oblivion!
I just got it !!
