Gahhhh... I really wanna find a deal with Battlefield Bad Company 2....
-
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
$33 wasn't good enough for me to buy it back during summer sale.
so...
*shrugs* -
I would have jumped on it for 33... not too bad at all compared to the MSRP of 50
-
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
yeah but at the time I didn't have a computer that could play it
so *shrugs* -
-
As a console owner, PC games are always on sale to me!
-
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
haha.
yeah. stupid $60 console games -
-
-
-
I would still feel more comfortable buying from like... Target or somewhere retail or Steam... not that I dont believe you, its just that you never can be completely sure...

So Mount & Blade Warband is discounted to $14.99 right now; I'm sorely tempted to buy it. I bought the original way back when it was still an "investment in a future release" sort of thing. Has anyone tried out this latest version? For that matter, has anyone seen it discounted even further than $14.99 on Steam before?
-
I don't think warband has ever been cheaper than $14.99. I've not played either, but I've heard that warband is the one to get cos of the multiplayer, which is apparently excellent.
-
Just thought I'd bump this up and say that Steam is having a weekend deal for Just Cause 2 - 50% off...
-
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is now $29.99 on Steam
Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on Steam -
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
29.99 by default? cool. now we just need a random sale one of these days.
-
Hmmm... that's a nice price drop. From the trailers it looks pretty awesome. Drop another $10 to $15 and I'll pick it up. I'm thinking a random sale can't be that far away.
-
I don't think the price will drop anymore anytime soon, this is the lowest price I've seen since the Steam summer sales ($33 back then). Amazon.com also lists BC2 PC at $29.99:
Amazon.com: Battlefield: Bad Company 2: PC: Windows XP: Video… -
-
I think it will happen
I will never doubt the power of Steam to do sales after the last Christmas sale. We just need another one this coming Christmas and I think we will see at least a $14.99 BC2. I don't mind the wait.
-
why is this game so cheap? was it a flop?
-
30 is actually a great price seeing as it was 60 at launch and great from what my friends with ps3s tell me
A bit much for me ATM, but if it dropped to say 20-25 in a weekend sale or so, I would get it in a snap -
i am going to get it because im bored of COD MW2, but im a little hesitant. the price drop indicates people are not buying it fast enough. some of my friends went back to playing cod mw2 as well...
-
I remember buying TF2 for $2.50 during their October event (2nd or the 3rd) but that's a Valve game. I'm not sure if we'll get that crazy price for any other brands.

This game is so going to feed the sci-fi geek within me.
-
Big price drop on BFBC2, base price is now $29 for the US.
-
Nice. I've been waiting for the Gratuitous DLC to go on sale. Less than $5 for all three is a no-brainer.

SoundOf1HandClapping Was once a Forge
Great, I bought another co-op zombie-killing games.
Thanks a lot Cin. THANKS A LOT. -
That is an awesome deal for Oblivion. If there's anyone here who doesn't have it, scoop up the Deluxe edition with all the DLC for $8.50, it's totally worth it.
-
The only thing is that I'm not too big on open-world type RPGs, haven't even bought Fallout 3 for this reason.
Still $6 is insane, and I might get it just to add to my collection -

SoundOf1HandClapping Was once a Forge
I have a retail (DVD) version of Borderlands, but I'm annoyed by having to insert the disc every time I want to play it. Hmm. I'll think about that one. I could always sell it to my friend, after all.
Since Kwad didn't put the link up, here it is. -
i got the $8.50 oblvion deal and ended up spending over 120 hrs in the game. i generally do not like hack and slash--but there is just so much to do in the game.
i bit on the borderlands deal and am downloading now. i have been waiting for such a deal.
i wait for steam deals for games i have been on the fence to buy.
