You guys recommend the Crysis Maximum Edition? Do enough people play Crysis online? Is it fun?
-
hahaha sc4 does go on sale!
these sales aren't half bad but i get a feeling most of these games showed up during the summer sale. -
Just got Serious Sam HD Gold. My damage so far? In reverse order:
Serious Sam Gold Pack (just bought)
FlatOut Ultimate Carnage (haven't played)
Batman: Arkham Asylum GOTY (Would have played by now if not for my connection going down Sunday night)
Civilization V (no horrible glitches so far)
Battlefield 2 (haven't played yet)
Mass Effect
Mass Effect 2
Just Cause 2
Spore (some regret)
Super Meat Boy (gamepad could help)
Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box (REALLY need a gamepad)
Battlefield Bad Company 2 Standard Edition (gift)
Might get SimCity 4, but I don't know... -
Crysis maximum pack for 9.99 for today (75% off).
-
grabed crysis complete pack, 15 dollars hehe
-
-
-
-
so crysis is good? how about the doom games?
-
global agenda no longer has any subscription fees, is this game worth it now?
-
complete pack has crysis and crysis warhead and if its the same as the disc version you should also get crysis wars multiplayer but theres no mention of it on the page.
-
-
Tempted to get the Crysis complete pack, however the SecuROM DRM on crysis is putting me off
I don't know if there is a revoke tool for the 5 machine activations limit on steam or not, but 2 pounds is tempting -
Weird. I got crysis maximum edition, which includes crysis, crysis warhead, and crysis wars for 9.99. I guess Madstrike lives in Europe or something?
-
I personally enjoyed it, and of course it looks good
DOOM 3 is one of the scariest games I have ever played, and for this price its a massive steal, even though it is fairly old it still looks decent -

-
dam steam with your awsome sale no money in my acount

I have heard its fun, but can't say anything about the number of people playing it -
might grab sim city 4 as well
any input on kings bounty?lol
what about mount and blade is it jsut multiplayer or does it also have decent single player? -
if you havnt played crysis or crysis wars then its a must. warhead was shorter than the original but for that price you cant go wrong.
its one of those must have games like the orange box that you,er must have -
just picked up rush and one of the indie packs

Well, here is my take on it.
Last year I got Crysis Maximum Edition pack on Steam. It was during the holiday sales for maybe the same price I don't really remember. It comes with Crysis, Crysis Warhead, and Crysis Wars.
Crysis Wars is still populated but nowhere close to BC2. There are a handful of servers, I would say enough to have a good time. I thought all Crysis games were awesome. They are really fun. I beat Crysis, and Warhead twice, second time on hardest difficulty because I liked them so much. Crysis Wars is the game that I have put the most amount of hours into; about 175. The only reason I stopped playing was because of BC2. I think its multiplayer is classic. And for $9.99, you can't go wrong.
Now, I grew up with Doom (as most of us did really) so I am strongly considering getting this. I've had the Doom series on my wishlist for as long as there has been a whishlist on Steam!
We'll see what happens. -
Well, at least my wallet gets a day to recover
.

I should have waited. I bought Crysis last week.
I played Crysis and Warhead on my previous desktop (HD4870) a while back, but I got the Steam version for my laptop even though the 260GTX is not quite powerful enough.
I'll get Warhead for sure. -
Can anyone do me a favor? Buy me Crysis Max edition, section 8 and doom complete pack and I'll gift you a game worth $25 on Dec 30th
-
I just payed $12.49 for Crysis Pack. Is tht US version cheaper??
-
-
Hmmm I too am interested in SimCity 4. Does anyone recommend this to someone who has never delved into the Sims games or city building genre?
In other news, I think it's finally time to try my hand at Crysis. -
I just bought Crysis Maximum, Dirt 2, and last night I picked up Serious Sam Gold and Machinarium. -
was warhead better optimized?
-
Hmmmm, to get Crysis or not?
What are the cons about it? People here seem to love it. -
I'm considering Crysis as well, but I already have a lot of shooters, and would only be interested in the storyline. Is it pretty good? or is it only worth it for the incredible graphics and such?

EDIT: My plastic is looking pretty charred, metaphorically speaking. Does anyone know what's in the next wave? I'm thinking about ending my shopping spree today. -
I'm still holding out for deals on Singularity, Transformers War for Cybertron, and a deeper sale on Divinity II, though the first two are from Activision so I'm not exactly holding my breath. -
Are the steam deals over? i refreshed the homepage to find the catalogue UI replaced with the normal one. I thought it went on till 2nd jan
-
wow, this is prolly the worst day of sales? I might get the ball, and thats it...
-
-
Should I get Kane and Lynch 2 or Dead Space? I'm only going to pick one. -
Anyone have Greed Corp? Looks fun, but so did Top Gun .....
-
to be honest Ill just skip games today since they all look like crap to me. -
Plants Vs. Zombies is awesome, already have it for my iPod though. Excellent toilet game.
-
-
You can play Kane & Lynch for 30 minutes (as many times as you want) on OnLive provided you have the connection for it if you want to play something outside of the demo. Personally, I didn't like it.
-
Dead Space, worth every penny of £5... excellent game
