yes it does (Or did back when I got it..uh..awhile during the last steam winter sale)

 

Any thoughts on Shogun 2? I've mostly been playing SC2

 

Turn based campaign and tactical combat. Pretty fun if you like that sort of game. There's a demo if you want to try it firsthand.

Im grabbing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction Deluxe Edition with MP DLC.
The older games wold probably cause DRM issues or whatever, so im buying the Splinter Cell remakes for PS3 later this year.

Maybe also grabbing H.A.W.X. 2 for some coop gaming, so if interested lets do some coop.

 

I'm thinking about H.A.W.X. 2. How's the multiplayer? Or even how is it compared to the original H.A.W.X? Is it too much of a difference?

 

I plan on getting Splinter cell Conviction, and maybe a couple others...


EDIT: actually, the Splinter Cell: Elite Echelon Edition has All the Splinter Cell Games. seeing as I have only played the first back on the ps2, a may get that instead.

 

I played both on the 360, and wasn't happy with the 2nd. On the first one, I'm able to select aircraft and loadouts. I'm not able to do that on 2. Unless that unlocks after the playthrough. Some of the levels are very fun, others are very tedious. It felt like the 2nd was more of the 1st with a couple changes that were good and a couple that were bad. Rather "meh" if you ask me!

 

I didn't saw this edition! Was about to buy only the firsts ones because of the price, but now i'll bite them all... I've never played any SC game. xD

Just picked up R6: Vegas 2!

 

Picked up Splinter Cell Conviction. Perfect deal for an awesome game.

is Rainbow Six Vegas 2 a good game?

 

for $3 and change, yes. rainbow six should have solid multiplayer. Single player may be a little slow.

 

Don't know, but I did enjoy R6 Vegas 1 on Xbox 360. Not super good, but enjoyable.

The graphics are dated; I think it came out around 2007, but still not bad.

Yea been waiting for a price drop for conviction, its a fun game!

 

GRAW was fun, but not too much, at least comparing with previous one and the expansions. I really enjoy those earlier games on multiplayer... and miss them so much right now. I would rather get SC (which I do xD) or RainbowSix.

I might take you up on that ; ) Downloading GRAW2 and R6: Vegas 2 as were speaking just my 2cents on GRAW 2, the game is greaT with a big T! But i have only played it on xbox 360, so im not sure how the pc version is. A thing i really liked about the game was the third person gameplay, which is not in the pc version so i hope for the best : )

You no longer have to be connected to the internet 24/7 to play it but you need an internet connection each time you launch the game. I think that is bad enough so will be avoiding this game. If it was a single online activation / authorization then I wouldn't mind. I purchased the first one on Steam though.

 

Cities XL caught my eye because I was a huge simulation fan. Simcity 4 is still probably my favorite game. Then I read about it and looked a the release date. From what I read, it wasn't intuitive and was a shallow game. The Simcity community on Simtropolis are still active and Simcity 4 is still the best game of that genre. I also play Civ 5 which is an awesome turn by turn base. English FTW

Yeah, I got Vegas 2 during this last sale too. Awesome game. I really enjoyed my first 30 mins on it just now.

 

Picked up Dino D-Day, wanted that at release but didn't look like it was worth $19.00. Played online today (no single player campaign), it is pretty good, hard to play as the Allies, they have no Dinos.

 

Thief Deadly Shadows looks interesting. Anyone play it on windows 7?

it's kinda not windows 7 compatible.

I mean sure if you mess with it enough and do some work arounds and break out a third party exe and/or the thief 3 editor exe yeah it can kinda work..

 

Worked just fine for me, Windows 7 64bit, downloaded and played it a while ago after I think the Christmas Steam sale.

Game will stop working after this weekend. I actually like when they have deals like this.

 

Steam has Witcher 2 @ $39.99 for me.

I would keep an eye on Amazon. They usually try to stay competitive with Steam and have had Witcher 2 at $39.99 for a couple weeks now. Maybe they'll lower the price even more.

 

The $39.99 Witcher 2 is an E3 promotion on Steam, Amazon, and GameStop. (according to the live stream)
