Official NBR Battlefield 3 Clan Server Thread

Yea, I dragged my name to the channel but I couldn't hear you guys. I did see the 4 of you in the channel and I joined it as well, but I couldn't hear you guys even though i could definitely see the icon next to your names change when you talk.

 

Just had my first full map without dying! 10 kills 0 deaths

 

Ok so if anyone wants to play I'm in! I'm downloading mumble right now and will idle in the mumble channel giving out swenglish lessons for those interested.

 

Anyone up for tonight again? 6pm Pacific 9pm eastern?

Not as many people as last time but we still had fun.

We learned it isn't good if we all have NBR clan tags, it seems to scare away all the other players. So we removed our tags, but I think it was too late since we already lost a lot players.

I will be back on Saturday around 10:30pm eastern 7:30 pacific if anyone is interested.

 

Goofing around was fun.

 

It was fun, got a few unlocks which is good because I'm terrible.

 

So if we play on the same server, we kill off the nametags? D;
Might play some BF3 this weekend but between Skyrim and Minecraft it will be a tough choice.

Also having a blast with Goldeneye on Xbox 360.
Its not like the N64 game but its not horrible like Goldeneye: Rogue Agent.
That was pretty s**tty.

I'm bored of BF3 after only reaching level 14. And I'm really tired of the IRNV scopes and other moronic perks in this game. Endless mortors? IRNV/4x scopes with extended mag on the M249? It's just really stupid. Explosive shotgun shells? Being sniped across the map by shotguns? Yeah it's getting old at light speed fast.

I don't understand the need that certain people have to p*** in everyone else's cheerios all the time.

 

How is he ??????? in everyone else's cheerios? He has a right to an opinion. And considering he paid for the game, I can understand the frustration.

 

Because it's constant. This is a thread about our server. Everyone is talking about how much fun they had last night and he just comes in and goes "nope, game sucks, not playing it ever again". We have a discussion thread for that crap.

ANYWAYS, I have to say, using the mumble server makes it a lot more fun. The trash talking and coordination adds a lot to it.

 

Yea, like everyone saying how sneaky I am . Its not my fault I don't like getting shot by tanks then have to sneak up behind them. Great fun was had by all.

 

Haha, yea that was fun. At one point I had unloaded all my ammo trying to shoot at a chopper, and so when a tank came by all I had was a pistol. I was standing beside it just unloading on the tank side. When I ran out of pistol rounds, I just started knifing it like that was really going to do any good lol

 

Glad everyone can make use of the voice server.
I had to update it earlier today but other than that i dont really take down the server.

guys, i just got my copy BF3 of installed. this is my second game that i've played on PC in about 7 years (the first being FIFA 12 which i recently installed) and my first shooter game that i'm going to try multiplayer on PC. can someone please tell me how i can join the NBR server?

 

Just go to the server browser in Battlelog and type "nbr" without quotes in the filter by name box.

 

I will be gone until Thanksgiving day. Someone else should organize a game between now and then.

I've been so busy with my boys' birthdays I just haven't had a chance to play much at all. Hopefully get back in the saddle again soon.

Forgot who it was but I shot at least two people out of helicopters last night.

Also got a heli with a stinger.

And shot someone with a shotgun with slugs and a x8 scope. Muahahaha

(And I vote for tdm when there is a distinct lack of many peoples! Its much more fun to shoot people in the face that way!)

Got the server added to my favs got my settings setup.

2 super high lvl guys on the other team vs just me... so I didnt stick around long it was just fish in a barrel for them.

Lol, I just accept everyone. Figure they got me from somewhere. The ones I really like playing with though are the NBR people. I think all my friends are on the NBR list. I havn't scrubbed it though.

I had a good time on the server last night with Philiphan. We were on opposite teams killing each other. The best was talking to each other while we knifed each other. Good times. Thanks for the mumble experience DEagleson! +1 It was us and Halo22solo or something like that. Though he wasn't on Mumble

DR650SE you're such a schneak, knifing me 3 times in a row. So freakin hilarious!!!

 

We filled the server again tonight even though there was nothing scheduled! Started off with me and agolf just screwing around, then shob showed up, then ht, and it snowballed from there.

Really seems like you only need about 4-6 people playing for a little bit before it starts to get noticed and really picks up. Also now that we have a couple admins around we can take map/mode requests... started the night off as squad rush and it evolved into conquest, and then back into squad tdm.

 

It was really fun! You guys should have seen hakira when he unlocked the frag rounds for the USAS-12, freakin rampage!!!

 

I liked listening to you guys flying the jets together. Even when I was eves dropping, I couldn't shake you when I tried my hand at the jets. That was a lot of fun to listen to. Sounded like real pilots "...Flares out..." I need to get better at the jets, and choppers are crazy hard for me. Gotta put in some hours.

 

HT is a real pilot

Though don't think he every flew anything militarized.
