I've always liked playing RTCW Enemy Territory, however now I can't get it work and all the servers look like garbage infested mods.

-
I played PSO2 on the Japanese servers for a while....it's a good game...hell it's free lol
-
Try The Walking Dead. Some may not qualify it as a game but it certainly an experience that you should not miss.
-
Giana Sisters: Twisted dreams if you are into plataformers, excelent music and feel.
-
moviemarketing Milk Drinker
Really? Do you know why?
I checked the site and it says they are closing, but there is no information. -
You could try the social experiment that is DayZ. Shame it's run down with hackers, but if you find a whitelist server you can have a good time. Standalone is due out before April so you could get some survival experience in before then.
-
I agree, especially with the Gods and Kings expansion pack. It is one of the few games that seriously needs to have an OSD clock. The hours tend to breeze on by while playing it.
-
As much as I find it to be "eh," Origin has the Mass Effect trilogy for $30!!! So stoked to buy it and start playing
EDIT: Well, found "the catch." Comes with the 2 DLC packs for the first game but NO DLC from ME2 or ME3. -
I have a Lenovo ideapad with a 1.4 Ghz atom processor, intel integrated graphics, 1gb ram, and a 11in screen. I can play rollercoaster tycoon 2! But I can't play the sims or minecraft. Is there anything you could suggest for me to play?
-
You could probably play Civilization IV
-
More of mod really but Project Reality mod for Battlefield 2 is great. Could be a full game in its own right. Great teamwork, realitic, squad play and a whole host of weapons, factions and vehicles. It also incorporates the directional voice program Mumble.

This is an old trailer, its up to 0.981 now with Project Normandy, Project Vietam and the falklands included. It's about to come out of beta and into 1.0.Last edited by a moderator: May 6, 2015 -
anybody tried hawken? is it any good?
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk HD -
Yes Hawken is a very good game for what it is... Its a First Person Mech Shooter, watch some videos and then check it out, I had a blast with it when I played it....
-
Mass Effect... Just wow
A little lengthy, so far, and the combat system is a bit clunky, but highly recommended. Guaranteed I'm the only one who hasn't tried it until now, lol.
-
For any fans of RPGs out there, I highly suggest you play Inquisitor for the PC. It's like Diablo meets something with a heavy story with lots of twists and turns.
But only play this game if...
1. You don't mind dying.
2. You have lots of patience.
3. You enjoy reading large amounts of well-written text.
4. You don't mind dying.
5. You don't mind a slower-paced, cerebral game
If you meet those qualifications and you love RPGs, then do yourself a favor and check out Inquisitor. Awesome game! -
Eador Masters of the Broken World, a cool turn-based strategy (similar to Heroes of M&M). It's not out yet but you can apply for the beta, I think it's like 1-2 months from release.
-
I bought this on gog a while back, I plan on starting it after far cry 3.
-
I keep getting e-mails, but no new posts show up...?

Yeah, the same text every time? I think the spam filters are removing them although one is still here (reported) -
Can anyone recommend a slow-paced semi-realistic FPS? My go-to game (Red Orchestra 2) has been slowly dying and the servers are full of bots. An active multiplayer community is a must. Not looking for anything Battlefield/Call of Duty-ish.
-
Who's getting TOMB RAIDER?
I've pre-ordered it, it looks AMAZING!
-
I've really wanted to try Red Orchestra 2 (not sure if it's single or multi-player oriented, though), but the only big name I've heard in terms of "realistic FPS" is the ARMA franchise and that's probably too 'realistic' if you're only looking for "semi-realistic."
I'll never pre-order again (BF3 was my first and last), but I'm actually looking forward to that game. Never played a Tomb Raider game before and the two movies were OK, but this one has piqued my interest. I'll see how it goes in terms of reviews (thank God I did for A:CM) and probably get it within the year.
What looks even more amazing is "The Last Of Us," but a game that's restricted to one platform? Bleh... -

I was getting that way after some 'issues' with day of release (MP3 was three days late for me and FC3 gave me problems, very annoying) but it seem that the big players have been listening. Origin pre-loaded Crysis 3 and I got the key before release (not activated until release). With Steam (Tomb Raider) it also has preloaded and they don't even send a key, it is attached to your account and just shows up
-
I recently pre-oredered Aliens Colonial Marines. It wasn't good
-
To fans of RPGs, i would also recommend Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. Brilliant game. Huge, semi-open world, lots of quests, hundreds of hours of content. Check it out.
-
Kingdoms of Amalur felt flat and boring, like playing WoW offline, whats the point if the characters and story is not the main focus of the game, so you end up leveling up (for what?). I would suggest playing FF7 on pc or android again, when in need of some propper RPG'ing
-
Or you can have a look at the New Tomb Raider, which is Awesome!!! Great story, character and tons of side quests. The Game is absoluty stunning next gen etc etc. Play it, you wont regret it!
-
See, to me, 'like WoW ofline' is not a slam. I've often said that MMO's would be pretty cool, if it weren't for all the other players....
-
I'll be pre-ordering Defiance in a couple of days. Looks so much fun.
-
That looks like good fun. Hope they get the control scheme figured out, hate to see an other MMO shooter go flop
-
Arma 3 Alpha test is out for all to play, cant stop playing this pearl of a game..! plus it runs considerable smooth on two 6970m's. The devs realy made some nice changes to the engine compared to Arma 1 and 2.
-
I just bought Heart of the Swarm. I can't recommend it for now, because I didn't play it yet, but I can recommend this contest: Go2Arena online store with keys for computer games it's really nice for Starcraft 2 fans
-
Im also interested in that game but what kinda notebook do you play it on cause it seems very taxing.
-
I play it on a m18x with dual 6970m's. I notices it runs smooth on pretty high settings and 1080p right of the bat so i suspect the requirements not that high since you can lower the settings. Not as the horrible port like Assassins Creed 3... What hardware are you on?
-
Another recommendation - LOTRO, aka Lord of the Rings Online. Fantastic game. Good story, fun quests, good social aspect (or you can solo and be anti-social if you want), good loot and a huge open-world to explore. And it's 100% free! (Although if you play for awhile and like the game you should spend some money, simply to unlock a few bonus goodies that paying players get). Overall though, great game, check it out if you like RPGs.
-
Hows the population in LOTRO? Btw, I am about to try Resident Evil 6... cant wait!
-
The population is pretty decent from what I see on my server. Not too crowded, not too sparse. The community is also helpful and friendly and it's usually no problem finding someone to help you through a quest or to fellowship with.
Usually the weekend gets more busy and the rest of the week is a little quieter. Seems to have a nice active player base at the moment, though. -
Did not realize there was some relationship between the game and the TV show of the same name. The concept seems cool, but I don't know what they're going to do exactly and it's "SyFy" so there's a chance it will fall flat. If it does really well, though, they'll just cancel it -__-
-
Nice to know, I will check it out!
-
I just did a 6 man raid in LOTRO last night, and it was great. The group found me and we even lost a member during the second raid and picked up another player right away. It was pretty fun! Definitely check it out if you're into that sort of thing.

My first couple of hours on Bisoshock Infinite today
Well, the engine (unreal) is showing it's age with no physics or textures but it does mean it plays fast! Best steam punk type game I've seen, and the story line... great stuff, if some VERY outrageous racism reflecting the political landscape of 1920's America.
Funniest line so far, listening in to a conversation a girl says 'I don't know, I've never tasted an oyster, you're a bad man!' lol, was over an hour before I got to any fighting, just looking around at some awesome views. -
I am half way downloading it, cant wait!!!

I'm sure you will love it (if you like FPS with a story). Only one piece of advice that I was given, without any spoliers, play it on normal or preferably hard, the 'adaptive' setting works very well for my miserable shooting skills
Just spent another few hours there, GOTY so far for me! Funny thing, you will see posters and signs with things on them that would get you arrested here just for saying them. The authors definitely are making a statement about how nationalism can go in a very bad direction.
Did you play the industrial revolution web game? Gives you some extra DLC depending on how far you go and who you decide to support... -
Always loved the ones you had to invest huge amount of time in. I found myself playing less and less due to work and the misses offcourse! So I guess I'm forced to play on the go really so I end up with the more commercial 'rollercoaster' ones. Glad titles like Bioshock and the latest Tomb Raider are not a complete waste of time and actually enjoyable
GOTY, wait and see how far BF4 can kick it.
Havent played the industrial revolution web game though, whats the name?. -
MickyD1234 Notebook Prophet
Industrial revolution is here : https://www.finkmanufacturing.com/ Might be only for pre-order now I read it
-
hahah
Syfy antics are always funny indeed, it looks like a good game but I won't be getting it. I don't really like the big world raiding games. I was slightly fun in GTA but I can't play for content alone. -
Tried TOTRO, sorry felt like the rest of them in a different jacket but then for free. Why is the grinding always the damn same? Like doing groceries: Go here and get those things, then run a gazilion miles back and GOOD JOB, now go there and get me more of those.... The raids are cool, thats the only part but not always accessible.
-
From which Splinter Cell game should i play? I like the smooth way of action.
I played the older game Pandora. While good i didn't personally like the chunky way of action. Ive seen the preview of blacklist and there the action was really fast paced and much more smoother and easier to use.
From which SC game did it became like that? -
Idealistically all of the ones you still have to play
They are not that expansive anymore online right?
