It does not disappoint!

It's really fun when you play with 2-3 people in a squad... Otherwise, the Dark Zone can be painful lol

I would recommend Dragon Nest if the servers weren't so garbage.
Maybe Star Wars Battlefront, CS:GO, COD, Guilty Gear XRD -
Tried it during the Open Beta..
Didn't like it, not my type of game Tbh...

Is it worth to buy the last Resident Evil 7: biohazard ?
-
For Steam 49,99$? No way.

It depends really, did you like the previous versions ? -
killkenny1 Too weird to live, too rare to die.
It's not very similar to previous versions... -
I really enjoyed Farcry 3/4 and Blood Dragon (Primal not so much).
Looking for similar open world, 1st person, visually beautiful games.
Can't abide by seeing my character on screen.
Thanks. -

Blood Dragon was awesome, I almost wish they would make it a stand alone game.MiSJAH likes this. -
Isn't Blood Dragon already standalone? As in you don't need to own or run Farcry 3 to play it.

I think he means a proper full length game. -

There's the Deus Ex franchise. In chronological order it goes: Human Revolution, Mankind Divided, Deus Ex, Invisible War.MiSJAH likes this. -

Correct, though playing them in that order might be a bit jarring, the graphics in the older ones have not exactly aged well. -

HQ textures exist for older DE games.
Besides, DE games are about gameplay, not graphics. -

I'm usually not sensitive to graphics, but with mods IW was so glitchy it barely ran. -

Someone released a patch that updates Invisible War's graphics and makes the game more playable on modern systems. I don't have the link handy but can post if I remember.

The biggest issue with playing the DX games in chronological order is you miss out on all the neat references to the original Deus Ex in Human Revolution. So IMO the optimal order is Deus Ex, The Fall (it's not that bad), Human Revolution, Mankind Divided, and lastly Invisible War. To further immerse yourself in the universe, you can read Icarus Effect while playing The Fall and Black Light while playing Mankind Divided. Both those books are by James Swallow, who was one of the writers on the recent games.LanceAvion likes this.

That sounds interesting, I think last time I tried I got frustrated and stopped because of the issues. -

As someone who normally gets really into game lore, I'm surprised I hadn't heard of the books. -
Resident Evil VII: Biohazard. Great graphics, good story and fantastic music (at least for me).

Anyone care to recommend a first person 3D adventure game (the puzzle solving type)?

Agreed. Excellent game, but I bought an Xbox One just to play Forza!
-

Isn't Forza on PC too? -
I believe the newest one is, but before that no.
-
If you enjoy simulation racing games, I'd recommend the following:
rFactor 1 http://www.rfactor.net/ and 2 https://www.studio-397.com/, big modding community and online following.
iRacing, http://www.iracing.com/ the apple to rFactor's Android, As above and people either switch between or swear loyalty to either one.
Rally Sim, to me, nothing has come close to beating Richard Burns Rally. Although seems a bit hard to find a copy these days. It's still supported by the modding community. I'm not yet aware of any rally sim that has topped this, if there is one, please let me know.
Hope you enjoy these as much as I have over the years. -
Is it?
I thought Forza was Xbox only. -
Horizon 3 is listed on the Windows 10 Store
-
Forza 6 Apex is basically a big demo with no car modding or online. It's good but a massive tease.
Forza Horizon 3 is open world / more ardade-ish. Not really satisfying if you prefer circuits like myself.
For those who really like the original Forza recipe X1 is the only option. I'll be interested to see if Forza 7 actually makes it to W10 but I have my doubts. I'm betting they'll try and keep it for the new Xbox. -

Hi, I guess I have a few questions about where I should purchase new games from? And also, do you download them to your "Data HD" then install them to your SSD?
I have been a PC gamer for 30+ years and I ordered a new gaming laptop from Xotic PC(G55 Excalibur 15, NP6582) it has one ssd and 1T 7200rpm. My first build without a internal optical drive.
Thanks for any help or suggestions on dealing with the digital downloads ofrom games.

This is just me, but I put my OS on the SSD and have my game library there. I store media (music/movies) on my HDD and other files I don't really need quick access to or that the increased speed of the SSD won't matter for.
For games downloads, many have to be downloaded from their publisher's service (Steam/Origin/Uplay/whatever). You might also find them on GOG. -
Yes, the 120gb sdd will have OS. So, I shouldn't worry about new game performance on the 7200rpm?
Thanks for answering -
Support.2@XOTIC PC Company Representative
Might see some longer loading times, but nothing that will have you bashing your head on your desk or anything. Once everything is loaded and the GPU takes over you'll forget about it for a while.TBoneSan and Fire_Child22 like this. -
Nope, the performance would be totally similar to what you get on SSD, but you might getting slower loading time, but once it loads everything would be great.
-
As far as where to purchase, I recently tried g2a . com. Good price and runs on Steam fine.

There are some games that are notorious for having bad texture pop-in when they need to stream assets in from storage and the storage is slow. I definitely recommend an SSD if you want to rest easy. Even my SATA SSD, I have one for OS (850 EVO) and one for my game installs (Micron M600), show some slight texture loading at times in some games.
It's not a requirement and it most likely won't affect frame rates. You'll just see low quality textures that miraculously switch to high-quality in some titles. If cost is an issue you can start with a 7200RPM and if you don't like what you're seeing and can narrow it down to asset streaming speed you can always upgrade later.duanevw likes this. -
Furi is pretty polished (including gameplay mechanics) boss battle game getting some attention from game enthusiasts. 20 or less if you find a sale (should be able to grab it for 12 any time using isthereanydeal to find a sale)
Currently on the 3rd boss battle and the game is like something striaght out of my immagination when i was 12. (In a good way) -
Support.2@XOTIC PC Company Representative
Didn't even think about pop-in, but yeah, the faster your drive the less of that you'll see. (It's uncommon enough on my 850 Evo that I don't think about it much if that helps) -
Thanks guys for chiming in!! I'm finally enjoying some new games like F1 2016 on my new NP6852 and I loaded up my copy of Battlefield Bad Company 2, as I need to complete the single player campaign, and its like a new game with all the graphic settings set to max!!! Wow! The frostbite engine really does look nice details set to max finally on my 1050 Ti!!!

Also, is Battlefield 1 worth getting latter? I see that it is set in World War I. The reviews look good, on what I read so far!

As an old hand coming from Battlefield 1942 back in the day, Battlefield 1 is really fun. It may be just my tastes, but the series never felt better than when in the world war eras. Graphics are fantastic, and the maps definitely felt better this time around. About the only thing I have issue with, along with most EA titles now, is the whole DLC money grabbing. That said, right out of the box it was a good experience.duanevw likes this.
