    I do have one question about the friends list in SC2 though. How come for some players it says "last online" x minutes or days ago and others it does not?

    Is your server open now wingnut? because the problem before was the token needed, so people cant just join and play like I want.

    With your permission I will make it our official SC2 TS3 server then if its open and if we have issues with ranom yahoos we can start password locking it like I was going to do with the public server.

    No token required now. Those with a token will have extra priveleges I believe, just have to promote yourself to admin (through right click interface, I forget exactly). I will still have master admin key though, so I can blow anyone away that I want. Feel free to use it or use the public one you were considering. Whatever works. I think the one I have would be less likely to get unwanted traffic.

    Yeah first video was longer than 5 minutes and I included that, but 2nd take I was rushing and forgot 2 things.

    1.) Once you connect for the first time save the server by adding it to your bookmarks (just open bookmark tab and select "add to bookmarks") in my video its saved as NBR_TS3.

    2.) Use the default channel for SC2 for normal stuff, only move into the Game 1 & Game 2 sub channels if we need to split up for competitive games. I think in most cases we wont mind being on the same channel even on opposite teams for game night since its for fun.

    The Game 1 & 2 sub channels would be for us playing ladder games.

    Note: Laptop users, I was talking about how bad it can be when a desktop user is using speakers instead of headphones for voice chat and does not use push-to-talk. Take note its equally as bad with laptop users that are using built in microphones and the laptop speakers if you do not use push to talk, all the sounds in the laptop will reverb, even often it may pick up machine noise and typing noise.


    Edit: A second video just to cover those few minor points I missed the first time about how to use bookmarks, how to use the channels, and the use policy of the server.

    Yeah think he stayed logged in and went to bed :D I saw him in there last night too.

    I wanted to play but ended up having to do some midnight shopping for my upcomming out of state trip, after the shopping came a ultra late dinner so I did not get home until like 2:30AM :/

    If you did a RealID, then you can see their last online.
    If you added them only with username/3digit code thingy, then you will not. So chances are, with most NBR folks, you won't see the last online.

    I don't have any RealID friends, but I see last online times. I assumed it just shows people who you were gaming/chatting with in your current session who have gone offline.

    Yeah, there seems to be no rhyme or reason. It told me Vicious' online status for a while, now it doesn't any more. A friend of mine is on there, and it always tells me the last time he was on. I don't get it.

    RealID friends are so much better, because it shows you what games they are playing and you can join their games directly.

    Honestly I'd be more then willing to add people as RealID friends instead of just normal.

    Also I'm competing in a pretty big tourny on Saturday, winner gets $200 dollars. I'll buy everyone a game on Steam if I win. :D

    Battle.net seems to be down at the moment. Or something strange is going on. Both my laptop and desktop Starcraft login background comes up (with the planet) but just hangs there.

    Farful, Reizo, and our rising champion HTWingnut.

    Now Reizo says he is not that good but in our team games the other day he was consistently ahead of me in score in the win screen almost every game. This is not a perfect indicator of him being a better player but I think Reizo is definitely as good as me or better.
